DRESSING ATTIRE

Dressing appropriately for business occasions is an important part of making a positive first impression. Your attire is one of the first things another person will notice about you. You don’t have to buy expensive clothing. You simply need to take the time to choose clothing that reflects you in a professional light. Along with looking great, your self-confidence will shine!

Plan for a business casual interview:

  • Optional: Business suit or blazer.
  • Required: Everything should be clean and free of wrinkles.

Suggestions for clothing:

  • Dress shirt (collared) or blouse
  • Dress pants or mid-length skirt/dress (khakis are acceptable)
  • Clean dress shoes with socks, flats or moderate-heeled shoes

Inappropriate attire:

  • T-shirts, sweatshirts
  • Jeans, shorts
  • Sneakers, flip flops

Emergency Weather

EMERGENCY WEATHER CLOSER: If the school district CLOSES that date because of weather conditions, the interviews will be postponed until a different date. If the school district DELAYS the start of school, morning interviews will be canceled and rescheduled, however the evening interviews will still proceed unless weather deteriorates. School closures and delays are usually announced very early in the morning. Check for an announcement on TV, radio, or Facebook. We will also updated our Senior Exit Interview website with status updates

NOW WHAT?

Once you completed your exit interview, we will review your Career Cruising portfolio and check the Annual Review (Exit Interview) requirement within several days after your interview. You should now show 100% complete. However, you are not quite done. In April/May you will receive two surveys to complete. Once you submit both, you will completed the HSBP graduation requirement.
