Quran 19:47 Verse 19:47 He (Prophet Abraham Ibrahim) said, “Peace to you (my father Terah). I shall ask forgiveness of my Lord (God) for you (my father Terah). He (God) is always merciful to me.”

Quran 19:48 Verse 19:48 “I (Prophet Abraham Ibrahim) shall go away from you (my father Terah) and the (stone idols) to which you pray, instead (of praying to) God (as you should), and I shall pray to my Lord (God). It may be that, in prayer to my Lord (God), I shall not be unblessed (meaning, I shall not be unhappy with what God gives to me).”

Quran 19:49 Verse 19:49 So, when he (Prophet Abraham Ibrahim) had gone away from them (his father and his idol worshipping community) and that which they were worshipping (the stone idols) instead of (praying to) God (as they should), We (God) gave him Isaac Ishaq and Jacob Yaqub. Each of them We (God) made a prophet.

Those who understand are guided by the words of God. Those who do not understand are misguided by the words of humans. So look) what (do) you see (what do you think about my dream)?" He (Prophet Isaac Ishaq) said, "O my father, do as you are commanded, God willing you shall find me patience (not complaining, forbearing as in Quran 37:101).”

Note 1. The righteous son in Quran 37:100 is the good news son God gives to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim in Quran 37:101 and in Quran 37:102 when that son is old enough to work with him they both understand the vision in a dream that showed he will be sacrificed.


Quran 37:112 Verse 37:112 And We (God) gave him (Prophet Abraham Ibrahim) the good news of Isaac Ishaq, a prophet of the righteous.

Note 1. The righteous son in Quran 37:100 is the good news son God gives to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim in Quran 37:101 and when that son is old enough to work with him they both understand the vision in a dream that showed he will be sacrificed. After God has blessed Prophet Abraham Ibrahim God then confirms in Quran 37:112 that the righteous good new son that God gave to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim in Quran 37:101 for the sacrifice is Prophet Isaac Ishaq.


Quran 37:113 Verse 37:113 We (God) blessed him (Prophet Abraham Ibrahim) and Prophet Isaac Ishaq but of their offspring (the generations of children who come after him) are some that do good (to their souls) and some that do wrong to themselves (to their souls).

Note 1. God blesses the father and son in the story of the sacrifice in Quran 37:113.

Note 2. God blesses both the father and the righteous good news son together in the story of the sacrifice in Quran 37:113.

The righteous son that Prophet Abraham Ibrahim asked for in Quran 37:100 and was given by God as the good news son to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim in Quran 37:101 and in Quran 37:102 when he was old enough to work with Prophet Abraham Ibrahim they both understood the meaning of the vision in the dream of the sacrifice. 

In Quran 37:112 God tells us that Prophet Isaac Ishaq is the name of the righteous son that Prophet Abraham Ibrahim prayed for in Quran 37:100 and which God gave to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim with the name the good news son in Quran 37:101. Note 1. Prophet Ishmael Ismail was a natural birth which was agreed between Sarah, Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and Hagar Hajar. This is expected good news 9 months after sexual intercourse among humans but in the Quran God never uses the words good news as a name for Prophet Ishmael Ismail.

In the Quran God did not give Prophet Abraham Ibrahim news about Prophet Ishmael Ismail because this was a matter in which humans agreed among themselves and human birth is normally expected 9 months later.

Note 2. The angels of God brought the unexpected good news that God had decreed the birth of Prophet Isaac Ishaq in a miracle birth at a time when Sarah would be 90 years old and Prophet Abraham Ibrahim would be 100 years old. 

God in the Quran uses the words good news as the name for Prophet Isaac Ishaq throughout the Prophet Abraham Ibrahim story in Quran chapter 11, 15, 19, 29, 37 and 51.

In the Quran God gave Prophet Abraham Ibrahim good news about what God had decreed in a matter about which humans had no knowledge. This is why God uses the words good news in the Quran as the name of Prophet Isaac Ishaq in the Prophet Abraham Ibrahim story.


Comment 1. Who is the unnamed good news son in Quran 37:101?

The unnamed good news son is also unnamed in Quran 15:53, 15:54, 15:55 and 51:28 because good news is always the name God gives to Prophet Isaac Ishaq in the Prophet Abraham Ibrahim story in the Quran.

Quran 15:53 Verse 15:53 They (the angels) said, “Do not be afraid. We (the angels) bring you good news (of the birth) of a knowledgeable son.”

Quran 15:54 Verse 15:54 He (Prophet Abraham Ibrahim) said, “Do you bring me good news (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? What do you bring (that is) good news?" 

Quran 15:55 Verse 15:55 They (the angels) said, “We truly bring you good news so do not despair.”

Quran 51:28 Verse 51:28 Then he (Prophet Abraham Ibrahim) felt a fear of them (the travelers who were really angels). They (the angels) said, “Do not fear” and gave him good news of (the birth of) a knowledgeable son.

Note 1. God uses the words good news four times without naming the son in Quran 15:53, 15:54, 15:55 and 51:28 because good news is always the name God gives to Prophet Isaac Ishaq in the Prophet Abraham Ibrahim story in the Quran.

Note 2. Since God has used good news four times without naming the son as the name of Prophet Isaac Ishaq it is clear that the unnamed good news son in Quran 37:101 is also Prophet  Isaac Ishaq.

Comment 3. Why is good news the name of Prophet Isaac Ishaq in the Prophet Abraham Ibrahim story in the Quran?

Who is the good news son in Quran 37:101?  

“Good news” refers to the angels of God who delivered the “good news” to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and his wife Sarah telling them “the good news” that they shall have a son called Prophet Isaac Ishaq. This is why God uses good news as the name for Prophet Isaac Ishaq.

The angels of God gave news of the promise of a son to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and Sarah Sara one year before Prophet Isaac’s Ishaq’s birth when Sarah would be 90 years old and Prophet Abraham Ibrahim would be 100 years old in Taurat Torah Genesis 17:17 and 21:5. This miracle birth of a son promised by God is why God uses the words “good news” as the name of Prophet Isaac Ishaq in the Prophet Abraham Ibrahim story in the Quran including the story of the sacrifice of the good news son Prophet Isaac Ishaq in Quran chapter 37.

In Quran 37:112 God tells us “the good news” son is Prophet Isaac Ishaq.

Quran chapters 11, 15, 19, 29 and 51 introduce Prophet Isaac Ishaq as “the good news son” and then Quran chapter 37 continues the story of “the good news son.”

No where in the Prophet Abraham Ibrahim story in the Quran does God use the word “the good news son” to be the name of anyone except Prophet Isaac Ishaq.

The good news son in Quran 37:101 is Prophet Isaac Ishaq.

For those who do not know that God always calls Prophet Isaac Ishaq “the good news son” in the story of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim, God confirms this in Quran 37:112 by showing that the name of the “good news son” in the story of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim is always Prophet Isaac Ishaq.

Quran 37:101 is repeated in Quran 37:112 to confirm that “the good news son” in the sacrifice is Prophet Isaac Ishaq.

Comment 3. The father and son in the vision of the dream of the sacrifice is confirmed in Quran chapter 12 and 38.  

Quran 12:6 Verse 12:6 – “And so your Lord (God) shall choose you (Prophet Joseph Yusuf) and shall teach you the interpretation of stories (dreams) and shall perfect His (God’s) favour on you and on the family of Prophet Jacob Yaqub Israel as He (God) perfected it on your fathers before you, (who were) Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and Prophet Isaac Ishaq. Your Lord (God) knows all things and is wise.”


Quran 38:45 Verse 38:45 And mention Our (God’s) servant Prophet Abraham Ibrahim, Prophet Isaac Ishaq and Prophet Jacob Yaqub Israel (who were), men with strength (of faith in God) and vision (to understand the will of God).

Note 1. God decreed what would be contained in Quran chapter 38 which would follow the story of the sacrifice in Quran chapter 37. 

In Quran Chapter 38 God names the son who was given the same powers as his father to understand the dream of the vision of the sacrifice.

In Quran chapter 38 God reveals that the father and son with the power to understand the dream of vision of the sacrifice is Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and Prophet Isaac Ishaq because God tells us that both were given the ability to understand the vision of dreams.


Quran 38:48 Verse 38:48 And mention Prophet Ishmael Ismail and Prophet Elisha Al-Yasa and Prophet Ezekiel Zulkifl Dhul-Kifl. All are among the chosen (messengers of God).

Note 1. God decreed what would be contained in Quran chapter 38 which would follow the story of the sacrifice in Quran chapter 37. 

After the story of the sacrifice of the son of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim in Quran chapter 37 God confirms in the next chapter Quran chapter 38 that the father and son in the dream of the vision of the sacrifice is not Prophet Ishmael Ismail by blessing Prophet Ishmael Ismail without his father and by blessing Prophet Ishmael Ismail without the power to understand the vision of dreams.

In Quran 38:48 God has blessed Prophet Ishmael Ismail three verses after God had already blessed Prophet Abraham Ibrahim together with Prophet Isaac Ishaq in Quran 38:45 to show that the story of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and Prophet Isaac Ishaq is the story of the vision of the dream of the sacrifice of the son whereas the story of Prophet Ishmael Ismail is a different story (the story of the building of the Kabah).


3a. Why does God bless Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and Prophet Isaac Ishaq together in Quran 38:45 but Prophet Ishmael Ismail is blessed without his father in Quran 38:48? 

In the first test God ordered Prophet Abraham Ibrahim to send Prophet Ishmael Ismail and his mother Hagar Hajar into the desert.

In the second test God ordered Prophet Abraham Ibrahim to sacrifice Prophet Isaac Ishaq who was the only son still living with him after God had long ago taken away Ishmael Ismail and his mother Hagar Hajar to God’s care in the desert

Would Prophet Abraham Ibrahim reject God by saying first you took Ishmael Ismail away from me and now you want to take my only son who is still living with me? No, Prophet Abraham Ibrahim did not say that.

Would Prophet Abraham Ibrahim reject God by saying you promised future generations for me from Isaac Ishaq and now you want me to kill him? No, Prophet Abraham Ibrahim did not say that.

Prophet Abraham Ibrahim passed the test and God showed that God always keeps a promise by stopping the sacrifice and returning Isaac Ishaq to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim to produce the future generations as God had promised.

In the Taurat Torah God names Prophet Isaac Ishaq as the son who was to be sacrificed.

Torah Genesis 22:2 And He (God) said: “Take now your son, your only son (who still lives with you, reminding him that God had earlier taken Ishmael Ismail and Hagar Hajar away from him into God’s care in the desert), whom you love (God makes the test very hard by demanding his second son and reminding him that this is his only remaining son and reminding him that he already gave God one son and reminding him of his love for these sons), even (namely, that is) Isaac Ishaq.

In the story of the sacrifice God blesses Prophet Abraham Ibrahim in Quran 37:110 – 37:111 and then confirms that the name of the good news son is Prophet Isaac Ishaq in Quran 37:112.

God then blesses both Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and his son Prophet Isaac Ishaq together as the father and son in Quran 37:113.

In the story of the sacrifice in the Quran God only blesses Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and his son Prophet Isaac Ishaq. God has left no other blessing.

The Torah Taurat and the Koran Quran confirm each other because they belong to God.

If the Torah Taurat and the Koran Quran were in unresolvable conflict in the story of the sacrifice of the son of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim such as one Book naming Prophet Ishmael Ismail as the sacrifice and the other Book naming Prophet Isaac Ishaq as the sacrifice then that would be proof that God does not exist because it would show that humans had the power to invent whatever they wanted in Books that were not protected.

God in the Quran has guaranteed that humans do not have the power to change the Books of God because the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and the Koran Quran all belong to God as evidence and confirmation of God to humans in every generation until the Day of Judgement.

Proof of God is the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and the Koran Quran.

Proof of God is the sacrifice of Isaac Ishaq in all the Books of God because God protects His word.

It is Satan Shaitan who fights God by whispering to humans the lie that humans had the power to change the Books of God and that God did not protect His words.

Satan Shaitan wants Jews to believe that only the Torah Taurat is protected.

Satan Shaitan wants Christians to believe that only the Gospel Injil is protected.

Satan Shaitan wants Muslims to believe that only the Koran Quran is protected.

Satan Shaitan does not want humans to believe God when God in Quran 4:136 says those humans who do not believe all the Books of God have strayed far away from God.

However God has revealed that no one has power to change the word of God.

If the Torah Taurat is not protected then in the hereafter Jews could say they were misled by a Book that was not protected.

If the Gospel Injil is not protected then in the hereafter Christians could say they were misled by a Book that was not protected.

If the Koran Quran is not protected then in the hereafter Muslims could say they were misled by a Book that was not protected.

The Torah, Gospel and Quran are from God.

The Taurat, Injil and Quran are from God.

God protects all His books so in the hereafter no Jew or Christian or Muslim can say their Book misled them.

Comment 4. Which son does God bless in the story of the sacrifice?

In Quran 37:112 God tells us that “the good news” son is Prophet Isaac Ishaq.

In Quran 37:113 God tells us he has blessed Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and his son Prophet Isaac Ishaq.

God leaves no blessing for anyone in the story of the sacrifice except for Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and his son Prophet Isaac Ishaq.

The Quran is confirmed in the Torah Taurat where God also blesses Prophet Isaac Ishaq and Prophet Abraham Ibrahim in the story of the sacrifice.

 


Quran 37:103 Verse 37:103 Then when they had both submitted (to God’s will) and he (Prophet Abraham Ibrahim) had laid him (the “good news son” in Quran 37:101 Prophet Isaac Ishaq who is also unnamed in Quran 15:53, 15:54, 15:55 and 51:28 because good news is always the name God gives to Prophet Isaac Ishaq in the Prophet Abraham Ibrahim story in the Quran) on his forehead (for sacrifice),

Quran 37:102  37:105 describes what happened when the good news son Prophet Isaac Ishaq was old enough to work with Prophet Abraham Ibrahim.

 


Quran 37:106 Verse 37:106 This (willingness to sacrifice his only remaining son Prophet Isaac Ishaq to God after he had earlier given his first son Prophet Ishmael Ismail to God's care in the desert) was clearly a test (of Prophet Abraham’s Ibrahim’s faith and love for God).

Comment 1. The test to give to God the only son who was still living with Prophet Abraham Ibrahim

In the first test God ordered Prophet Abraham Ibrahim to send Prophet Ishmael Ismail and his mother Hagar Hajar into the desert.

In the second test God ordered Prophet Abraham Ibrahim to sacrifice Prophet Isaac Ishaq who was the only son still living with him after God had long ago taken away Ishmael Ismail and his mother Hagar Hajar to God’s care in the desert

Would Prophet Abraham Ibrahim reject God by saying first you took Ishmael Ismail away from me and now you want to take my only son who is still living with me? No, Prophet Abraham Ibrahim did not say that.

Would Prophet Abraham Ibrahim reject God by saying you promised future generations for me from Isaac Ishaq and now you want me to kill him? No, Prophet Abraham Ibrahim did not say that.

Prophet Abraham Ibrahim passed the test and God showed that God always keeps a promise by stopping the sacrifice and returning Isaac Ishaq to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim to produce the future generations as God had promised.

God explained the purpose of that sacrifice in Quran 37:106 This (willingness to give his only remaining son Prophet Isaac Ishaq to God) was clearly a test (of Prophet Abraham’s Ibrahim’s faith and love for God).

Comment 2. The saving from the distress of the sacrifice.

The saving from the distress of the flood in Quran 37:76 is the same verse structure as the saving from the distress of the sacrifice of the son of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim in Quran 37:106



Quran 37:107 Verse 37:107 Then We (God through His angles) exchanged him (Prophet Abraham’s Ibrahim’s) son (Prophet Isaac Ishaq) with a great sacrifice (meaning God gave Prophet Abraham Ibrahim an animal to be sacrificed instead of ordering Prophet Abraham Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Prophet Isaac Ishaq. This is called a great sacrifice because God not humans has both provided and chosen this sacrifice for Himself).

Comment 1. The sacrifice of the son ended.

The end of the flood in Quran 37:77 is the same verse structure as the end of the sacrifice of the son of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim in Quran 31:107



Quran 37:108 Verse 37:108 And We (God) left (this blessing) for him (Prophet Abraham Ibrahim as a remembrance of him) among the generations to come.

The blessing of remembrance after the flood in Quran 37:78 is the same verse structure as the blessing of remembrance after the sacrifice of the son of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim in Quran 37:108

Quran 36:58 Verse 36:58 (To the people in Paradise), “Peace” shall be the (greeting) word from a merciful Lord (God).

In Quran 37:112 God tells us that Prophet Isaac Ishaq is the name of the righteous son that Prophet Abraham Ibrahim prayed for in Quran 37:100 and which God gave to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim with the name the good news son in Quran 37:101. The story of the good news son Prophet Isaac Ishaq is spread across Quran chapters 11, 15, 19, 29, 37 and 51.


Comment 1. After blessing Prophet Abraham Ibrahim God confirms that the Good News son who was to be sacrificed is Prophet Isaac Ishaq.

In the Prophet Abraham Ibrahim story the Good News is always the name for Prophet Isaac Ishaq as a remembrance of God who gave the Good News of the miracle birth of Prophet Isaac Ishaq to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and Sarah. 

In the next verse 37:113 God then blesses Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and his son Prophet Isaac Ishaq as the father and son in the story of the sacrifice.

Note 3. Sarah laughed because it is funny to imagine that a 90 year old lady can give birth and can breast feed milk to her new born baby. 

Sarah thinks that any person that hears of this will also laugh because such a thing would be a great surprise.


Quran 11:74 Verse 11:74 So when fear had gone away from Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and the good news came to him, he began to plead with Us (the Angles of God) for (sparing the life of) Prophet Lot's Lut’s people (in the town of Sodom, near the Dead Sea, today in Israel and Palestine).

Comment 3. After the blessing of belief God tells us what happened during the sacrifice.

After the blessing of belief God tells us what happened during the flood in Quran 37:82 and this is the same verse structure as after the blessing of belief where God tells us what happened during the sacrifice of the son of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim in Quran 37:112.

Note 1. God confirms in Quran 37:112 that the name of the good news son is Prophet Isaac Ishaq.

Note 2. Quran 37:75  37:82 about the flood has the same verse structure as Quran 37:100  37:112 about the sacrifice of the son of Prophet Abrahan Ibrahim.

Note 3. Quran 37:112 in the verse structure Quran 37:100  37:112 is the same as Quran 37:82 in the verse structure Quran 37:75  37:82.

Quran 37:82 reveals the people who died in the flood. 

Quran 37:112 reveals the people in the sacrifice.

Quran 37:82 reveals the people who died in the flood were those who were not with Prophet Noah Nuh in the same way as Quran 37:112 reveals that the people in the sacrifice were the father and the good news son Prophet Isaac Ishaq.

Note 4. In Quran 37:112 God returns to what happened during the sacrifice of the son of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim in the same way as God returns to what happened during the flood in Quran 37:82

Quran 37:112 is not about what happened after the blessing of belief in Quran 37:111 just as Quran 37:82 is not about what happened after the blessing of belief in Quran 37:81.

Quran 37:112 is about what happened before the blessing of belief in Quran 37:111 just as Quran 37:82 is about what happened before the blessing of belief in Quran 37:81.

Quran 37:112 is about what happened in the sacrifice just as Quran 37:82 is about what happened in the flood.

God confirms in Quran 37:112 what happened during the sacrifice.

God confirms in Quran 37:112 the name of the good news son during the sacrifice.

The good news son in Quran 11:69, 11:71, 11:74, 29:27, 29:31, 5:53, 15:54, 15:55 and 51:28 is Prophet Isaac Ishaq. 

The good news son in Quran 37:101 and 37:112 is like Quran 29:27 which names Prophet Isaac Ishaq and Quran 29:31 which uses the name good news.

The good news son in Quran 37:101 and 37:112 is like Quran 11:69 were good news is not named and Quran 11:71 were the good news is named and Quran 11:74 where the good news is not named and all of them are Prophet Isaac Ishaq.

God confirms in Quran 37:112 that the good news son in verses 37:101 who was to be sacrificed in Quran 37:102 is named Prophet Isaac Ishaq because good news is the name God has given to Prophet Isaac Ishaq in the story of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim as a remembrance of the good news that was delivered by the angels of God to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and Sarah of the miricle birth of Prophet Isaac Ishaq..

The structure of this verse shows that Prophet Isaac Ishaq is not a reward from God after Prophet Abraham Ibrahim is blessed because Quran 37:112 which is after the blessing of belief returns to reveal what happened during the sacrifice in the same way as Quran 37:82 which is also after the blessing of belief also returns to reveal what happened during the flood.  

Quran 37:112 Verse 37:112 is not a reward to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim because the son requested in Quran 37:100 was given by God in Quran 37:101 and 37:102.

Note 5. When the good news son is not named in Quran 15:53, 15:54, 15:55 and 51:28 it is the name of Prophet Isaac Ishaq and this is the same when the good news son is not named in Quran 37:101 because good news is always the name God gives to Prophet Isaac Ishaq in the Prophet Abraham Ibrahim story in the Quran.

When the good news son is named in Quran 11:69, 11:71, 11:74, 29:27 and 29:31 this is the same as when the good news son is named in Quran 37:112.

The Quran shows that when the good news is named and not named it is always the name God uses for Prophet Isaac Ishaq in the Prophet Abraham Ibrahim story in the Quran.

Since God has used good news 9 times (unnamed 4 times as the good news in Quran 15:53, 15:54, 15:55 and 51:28 and named 5 times as the good news in Quran 11:69, 11:71, 11:74, 29:27 and 29:31) to all be the name of Prophet Isaac Ishaq, it is clear that the two uses of good news in the story of the sacrifice one unnamed in verse 37:101 and one named in verse 37:112 are both Prophet Isaac Ishaq.

The good news story of Prophet Isaac Ishaq is spread out across Quran chapters 11, 15, 19, 29, 37 and 51.

Note 6. As soon as Prophet Muhammad died God tested Muslims when Satan Shaitan whispered truth with falsehood by whispering correctly that, “The Quran confirms what is in the Torah Taurat and Gospel Injil,” and then whispering incorrectly, “but do not believe the Torah Taurat and Gospel Injil,” and then whispering correctly, “that the Torah Taurat names the son to be sacrificed by Prophet Abraham Ibrahim as Prophet Isaac Ishaq,” and then whispering incorrectly that, “Jews and Christians had the power to change the word of God in the Torah Taurat and Gospel Injil and then whispering incorrectly that, “The Quran names the son to be sacrificed by Prophet Abraham Ibrahim as Prophet Ishmael Ismail in Quran chapter 37,” even when God only blesses Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and Prophet Isaac Ishaq in the story of the sacrifice and never mentions the name of Prophet Ishmael Ismail one time but instead God mentions Prophet Isaac Ishaq four times (twice by his name and twice by his title “the good news son”) in Quran chapter 37.

Proof of God is the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and the Koran Quran.

Proof of God is the sacrifice of Isaac Ishaq in all the Books of God because God protects His word.

It is Satan Shaitan who fights God by whispering to humans the lie that humans had the power to change the Books of God and that God did not protect His words.

Satan Shaitan wants Jews to believe that only the Torah Taurat is protected.

Satan Shaitan wants Christians to believe that only the Gospel Injil is protected.

Satan Shaitan wants Muslims to believe that only the Koran Quran is protected.

Satan Shaitan does not want humans to believe God when God in Quran 4:136 says those humans who do not believe all the Books of God have strayed far away from God.

However God has revealed that no one has power to change the word of God.

If the Torah Taurat is not protected then in the hereafter Jews could say they were misled by a Book that was not protected.

If the Gospel Injil is not protected then in the hereafter Christians could say they were misled by a Book that was not protected.

If the Koran Quran is not protected then in the hereafter Muslims could say they were misled by a Book that was not protected.

The Torah, Gospel and Quran are from God.

Quran 37:113 Verse 37:113 We (God) blessed him (Prophet Abraham Ibrahim) and Prophet Isaac Ishaq but of their offspring (the generations of children who come after him) are some that do good (to their souls) and some that do wrong to themselves (to their souls).

1. Explain Quran 37:113 Verse 37:113 

The story of the Good News son Prophet Isaac Ishaq is in Quran chapters 11, 15, 19, 29, 37 and 51. 

What happened at the end of the sacrifice?

After blessing the father in Quran 37:108 – Quran 37:111 God then names Prophet Isaac Ishaq in Quran 37:112 as the righteous son in Quran 37:100 who is given the name the good news son in Quran 37:101 and when in Quran 37:102 Prophet Isaac Ishaq is old enough to work with Prophet Abraham Ibrahim they both understand the vision in a dream that showed Prophet Isaac Ishaq will be sacrificed and is remembered in Quran 12:6 and 38:45 and showing three verses later in Quran 38:48 that it was not Prophet Ishmael Ismail by blessing Prophet Ishmael Ismail without his father and without the power of vision and so God decreed those revelations in Quran chapter 38 after the story of the sacrifice in Quran chapter 37 to guide by God’s word those who understand what God is teaching. Those who understand are guided by the words of God. Those who do not understand are misguided by the words of humans. The righteous good news son is named Prophet Isaac Ishaq in Quran 37:112 and God blesses both the father Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and the son Prophet Isaac Ishaq in Quran 37:113.

Quran 37:113 Verse 37:113 We (Godblessed him (Prophet Abraham Ibrahim) and Prophet Isaac Ishaq but of their offspring (the generations of children who come after him) are some that do good (to their souls) and some that do wrong to themselves (to their souls).

2. Explain the story of sacrifice in the story oProphet Abraham Ibrahim. 

God ordered Prophet Abraham Ibrahim to sacrifice the life of Prophet Ishmael Ismail and Prophet Isaac Ishaq.

a. The sacrifice of Prophet Ishmael Ismail.

First God ordered Prophet Abraham Ibrahim to sacrifice his first son by sending Prophet Ishmael Ismail and Hagar Hajar into the desert with a small amount of water. 

Prophet Abraham Ibrahim passed the first test by obeying God's command.

God the most kind and the most merciful saved Prophet Ishmael Ismail and Hagar Hajar by providing water and a safe place to live in the desert.

b. The sacrifice of Prophet Isaac Ishaq.

Later God ordered Prophet Abraham Ibrahim to sacrifice by slaughter his second son the good news son Prophet Isaac Ishaq who was his only son that was living with him after he had long ago sacrificed his first son Prophet Ishmael Ismail by sending him to God's care in the desert.

Prophet Abraham Ibrahim passed the second test by obeying God's command.

God the most kind and the most merciful saved Prophet Isaac Ishaq by providing an animal instead of Prophet Isaac Ishaq for the slaughter.

c. Why did God not order Prophet Abraham Ibrahim to sacrifice Prophet Ishmael Ismail two times?

God saved Prophet Ishmael Ismail in the first test after God ordered Prophet Abraham Ibrahim to send Prophet Ishmael Ismail and his mother Hagar Hajar into the desert with little water.

God could not repeat a similar test by ordering Prophet Ishmael Ismail to be slaughtered because Prophet Abraham Ibrahim would remember the first test and would think that God would save Prophet Ishmael Ismail a second time like God saved Prophet Ishmael Ismail and Hagar Hajar the first time in the desert.

d. The sacrifice was clearly a test.

To be a real test Prophet Abraham Ibrahim had to believe the test was real so God reminded Prophet Abraham Ibrahim that God had already taken Prophet Ishmael Ismail away from him when God said in Torah Genesis 22:2 And He (God) said: “Take now your son, your only son (who still lives with you, reminding him that God had earlier taken Ishmael Ismail and Hagar Hajar away from him into God’s care in the desert) ...”

To be a real test God reminded Prophet Abraham Ibrahim of his love for the son who was taken away from him and the only son who still lives with him because when Prophet Abraham Ibrahim thinks of one son he will also remember the other son in Torah Genesis 22:2 And He (God) said: “Take now your son, your only son (who still lives with you, reminding him that God had earlier taken Ishmael Ismail and Hagar Hajar away from him into God’s care in the desert), whom you love (God makes the test very hard by demanding his second son and reminding him that this is his only remaining son and reminding him that he already gave God one son and reminding him of his love for these sons), even (namely, that is) Isaac Ishaq.


Quran 37:106 Verse 37:106 This (willingness to sacrifice his only remaining son Prophet Isaac Ishaq to God after he had earlier given his first son Prophet Ishmael Ismail to God's care in the desert) was clearly a test (of Prophet Abraham’s Ibrahim’s faith and love for God).


Quran 38:45 Verse 38:45 And mention Our (God’s) servant Prophet Abraham Ibrahim, Prophet Isaac Ishaq and Prophet Jacob Yaqub Israel (who were), men with strength (of faith in God) and vision (to understand the will of God).

Note 1. God decreed what would be contained in Quran chapter 38 which would follow the story of the sacrifice in Quran chapter 37. 

In Quran Chapter 38 God names the son who was given the same powers as his father to understand the dream of the vision of the sacrifice.

In Quran chapter 38 God reveals that the father and son with the power to understand the dream of vision of the sacrifice is Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and Prophet Isaac Ishaq because God tells us that both were given the ability to understand the vision of dreams.

Note 2. In Quran 38:45 and Quran 38:48 Prophet Isaac Ishaq was the only son living with Prophet Abraham Ibrahim as confirmed in Torah Genesis 22:2 And He (God) said: “Take now your son, your only son (who still lives with you, reminding him that God had earlier taken Ishmael Ismail and Hagar Hajar away from him into God’s care in the desert) ...”

 

Quran 38:48 Verse 38:48 And mention Prophet Ishmael Ismail and Prophet Elisha Al-Yasa and Prophet Ezekiel Zulkifl Dhul-Kifl. All are among the chosen (messengers of God).

Note 1. God decreed what would be contained in Quran chapter 38 which would follow the story of the sacrifice in Quran chapter 37. 

After the story of the sacrifice of the son of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim in Quran chapter 37 God confirms in the next chapter Quran chapter 38 that the father and son in the dream of the vision of the sacrifice is not Prophet Ishmael Ismail by blessing Prophet Ishmael Ismail without his father and by blessing Prophet Ishmael Ismail without the power to understand the vision of dreams.

In Quran 38:48 God has blessed Prophet Ishmael Ismail three verses after God had already blessed Prophet Abraham Ibrahim together with Prophet Isaac Ishaq in Quran 38:45 to show that the story of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and Prophet Isaac Ishaq is the story of the vision of the dream of the sacrifice of the son whereas the story of Prophet Ishmael Ismail is a different story (the story of the building of the Kabah).

Note 2. In Quran 38:45 and Quran 38:48 Prophet Ishmael Ismail was not living with Prophet Abraham Ibrahim as confirmed in Torah Genesis 22:2 And He (God) said: “Take now your son, your only son (who still lives with you, reminding him that God had earlier taken Ishmael Ismail and Hagar Hajar away from him into God’s care in the desert), whom you love (God makes the test very hard by demanding his second son and reminding him that this is his only remaining son and reminding him that he already gave God one son and reminding him of his love for these sons), even (namely, that is) Isaac Ishaq.


Quran 12:6 Verse 12:6 – “And so your Lord (God) shall choose you (Prophet Joseph Yusuf) and  shall teach you the interpretation of stories (dreams) and shall perfect His (God’s) favour on you and on the family of Prophet Jacob Yaqub Israel as He (God) perfected it on your fathers before you, (who were) Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and Prophet Isaac Ishaq. Your Lord (God) knows all things and is wise.”

Note 1. The understanding of the vision of the dream in the sacrifice of Prophet Isaac Ishaq by Prophet Abraham Ibrahim in Quran 37:102 is confirmed iQuran 38:45 and in Quran 12:6 by the words “God shall teach you the interpretation of stories (dreams) as God perfected it on your fathers before you, (who were) Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and Prophet Isaac Ishaq.”


3. Explain the purpose of the story of the sacrifice of the son of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim.
The story of the sacrifice is a story to end the sacrifice of humans to stone idol gods that was common in the time of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim 3700 years ago and also in the time of Prophet Muhammad in Arabia 1400 years ago.

Quran 4:29 Verse 4:29 All you who believe, do not unjustly take the wealth of each other, but trade by mutual consent; and do not destroy yourselves (do not kill yourself, do not commit suicide, do not kill each other). God is Merciful to you.

Quran 17:31 Verse 17:31 Do not kill your children because you fear poverty, We (God) shall provide for them and for you. The killing of them (children) is a great sin.

Quran 22:15 Verse 22:15 Whoever thinks that God shall not give him (Prophet Muhammad) help in the world and in the Hereafter (and is enraged at the thought that God would support Prophet Muhammad), let them stretch a rope up to the roof and let them hang them self. Let them then see if that strategy chases away what they rage against? (No, it shall not change anything if you killed yourself because it is God who decides what shall happen and whatever humans do cannot change what God has decided).
Note 1. Do not commit suicide.

Quran 37:149 Verse 37:149 (Prophet Muhammad) now ask them (the stone idol worshippers in Mecca Arabia today Makkah Saudi Arabia), “Does (meaning, Do you say that) your Lord (God) only have daughters but you (prefer to) have sons?

Quran 37:153 Verse 37:153 (And the stone idol worshippers in Makkah Arabia say falsely that), “He (God) prefers daughters instead of sons.

Quran 37:154 Verse 37:154 What is the matter with you and your judgement? (You say God prefers daughters but you prefer sons. Who is the best judge God or you? That shows there is something wrong with your thinking).

Quran 37:155 Verse 37:155 Shall you (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) not then think (again about what you are saying)?

Quran 37:156 Verse 37:156 Or have you (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) a clear authority (from God to say what you are saying)?

Quran 37:157 Verse 37:157 Then show your scripture (from God that is your guidance) if you (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) are truthful.

Note 1. The stone idol worshippers killed female babies in Makkah.

The birth of a human daughter is equal in value to the birth of a human son. God does not allow the practice of killing human daughters at birth which was the custom of some of the stone idol worshippers in Makkah Arabia.

Quran 81:9 Verse 81:9 “For what crime were you (the baby girl) killed? (The baby girl shall say in the hereafter, “They killed me on the earth without a just reason”).


3a. In the Torah Taurat Prophet Abraham Ibrahim talks in a way decreed by God to teach humans the importance of protecting every innocent human life.

The good news story starts when the angels of God deliver the good news to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and Sarah of the birth of Prophet Isaac Ishaq and reveal they are delivering God's punishment to the people in Sodom in Canaan today in Israel and Palestine

Genesis 18:24 If there are fifty innocent people in the city, will you destroy the whole city? Won't you spare it in order to save the fifty? 

Genesis 18:25 Surely you won't kill the innocent with the guilty. That's impossible! You can't do that. If you did, the innocent would be punished along with the guilty. That is impossible. The judge of all the earth has to act justly.” 

Genesis 18:26 The Lord answered, “If I find fifty innocent people in Sodom, I will spare the whole city for their sake.” 

Genesis 18:27 Abraham Ibrahim spoke again: “Please forgive my boldness in continuing to speak to you, Lord. I am only a man and have no right to say anything. 

Genesis 18:28 But perhaps there will be only forty-five innocent people instead of fifty. Will you destroy the whole city because there are five too few?”

The Lord answered, “I will not destroy the city if I find forty-five innocent people.”

Genesis 18:29 Abraham Ibrahim spoke again: “Perhaps there will be only forty.”

He replied, “I will not destroy it if there are forty.”

Genesis 18:30 Abraham Ibrahim said, “Please don't be angry, Lord, but I must speak again. What if there are only thirty?”

He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty.”

Genesis 18:31 Abraham Ibrahim said, “Please forgive my boldness in continuing to speak to you, Lord. Suppose that only twenty are found?”

He said, “I will not destroy the city if I find twenty.”

Genesis 18:32 Abraham Ibrahim said, “Please don't be angry, Lord, and I will speak only once more. What if only ten are found?”

He said, “I will not destroy it (the city) if there are ten (innocent people).” 

Genesis 18:33 After he had finished speaking with Abraham Ibrahim, the Lord went away, and Abraham Ibrahim returned home. 

Note 1. Protect every innocent life in the Torah.

Note 2. Do not kill the innocent with the guilty in the Torah.


Quran 48:25 Verse 48:25 They (the stone idol worshippers of Mecca Arabia today Makkah Saudi Arabia) are the ones who disbelieved (in God) and turned you (Prophet Muhammad) away from the Sacred Mosque (Al-Masjid-al-Haram in Mecca) and your offerings (of 70 camels to God for the feeding of the poor which) were prevented from reaching their place of sacrifice. (You would have been allowed to enter Mecca and fight for the sake of God to worship God at God’s Sacred Mosque in Mecca) if it were not that there were believing men and women who you did not know that you may have trampled (with your offerings of 70 camels that would have killed both the believers who you did not know and the non believers because of a stampede by those animals caused by fighting that God knew would occur) and so unknowingly you would have an evil deed against you(However God stopped you from entering Mecca) so that God might bring to His (God’s) mercy whom He (God) willed (by preventing you from making sin through your actions which would have killed innocent people). If they (the believers who you did not know and the wrongdoers who had sinned against God) had been apart (so that only the wrongdoers who had sinned against God were present) then We (God) would have punished those of them who disbelieved with a painful punishment (by allowing you into Mecca and allowing the animal stampede to occur to punish the stone idol worshippers who forbid your worship of God at the Sacred Mosque Al-Masjid-al-Haram in Mecca).

Note 1. Protect every innocent life in the Quran.

Note 2. Do not kill the innocent with the guilty in the Quran.


Jewish Hebrew Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:5, Babylonian Talmud Tractate Sanhedrin 37a Whoever destroys a soul, it is considered (by God) as if he destroyed an entire world. And whoever saves a life, it is considered (by God) as if he saved an entire world.

Note 1. Saving of one human life is a great deed because saving one life is like saving every human life on the Earth in the sight of God in the Jewish Talmud. 

Note 2. A deed like this must have a great reward on the Day of Judgement God willing.


Quran 5:32 Verse 5:32 For this reason (that for the first time a human killed another human) We (God) ordered the children of Israel (through the inspiration of the teachers of the Jewish Talmud) that whoever kills a person it is as if that person killed all of humankind (to warn humans against the great evil of killing one human life so that humans understand the great value and preciousness of one human life) unless it is in retaliation for murder or for misbehaviour in the land. And whoever saves a life it is as if that person has saved all of humankind (to teach humans the great goodness in the saving of one human life so that humans understand the great value and preciousness of one human life). Our (God’s) messengers came to them (the children of Israel) with clear arguments but still after that (inspiration of the teachers of the Jewish Talmud) many of them (among the children of Israel) continued to commit great crimes (by killing humans unlawfully) in the land (so this is a message from God to the human not to commit the great crime of killing human life but instead to work to save human life). 

Note 1. Saving of one human life is a great deed because saving one life is like saving every human life on the Earth in the sight of God in the Quran. 

Note 2. A deed like this must have a great reward on the Day of Judgement God willing.


3b. How did God protect the innocent life of Jesus Isa the messenger of God?

Quran 4:157 Verse 4:157 And they (some of the Jews of Yathrib in Arabia later Medina Arabia today Madinah Saudi Arabia) said (showing their pride and their disbelief by threatening and mocking the messenger Prophet Muhammad and his followers by boasting), "We killed messiah Jesus Isa, the son of Mary Maryam, the messenger of God," but (in fact) they did not kill him (Prophet Jesus Isa) nor crucify him (Prophet Jesus Isa to death, they did not crucify Prophet Jesus Isa to death), but it was made to appear so (to them, so they believed he was dead on the cross but in fact he was still alive on the cross) and those (Jews of Yathrib Arabia) who differ in this (in what happened to Prophet Jesus Isa on the cross) are full of doubts with no (certain) knowledge so they (the Jews of Yathrib) follow only conjecture (assumptions, speculation, guess). It is certain that they (the Jews) did not kill him (because God protected Prophet Jesus Isa from the death of crucifixion in 607 BH 33 CE 33 AD on Friday 3 April 33 in Jerusalem Al-Quds Yerussalem Yerushalayim in Judea today in Israel and Palestine).

Note 1. Prophet Jesus Isa was seen alive three days later as proof that no one killed Jesus Isa.


The Gospel confirms that no human killed Jesus.
The Injil confirms that no human killed Isa.

Gospel of John 10:18 No one takes it (my life) from me (Jesus Isa); I lay it down (my life) of myself (voluntarily as God has ordered Jesus Isa to do). I (Jesus Isa) have authority (from God) to lay it down (on the cross where humans shall try to kill Jesus Isa through crucifixion) and I (Jesus Isa) have authority (by the order of God) to take it (my life) up again (as proof that no one killed Jesus Isa)this order I have received from my Father (God).

Note 1. God is the Father of every creation including Jesus Isa.

Note 2. Son of God means Servant of God. Jesus Isa is the Servant of God. 

Son of God means Slave of God. Jesus Isa is the Slave of God. 

Note 3. Son of God means servant and slave of God in the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and the Koran Quran but some people have misunderstood Son to mean a real biological relationship or partnership with God.

Note 4. Jesus Isa is a creation and every creation is a servant of God not a partner with God or a biological relation with God. 


Corinthians 15:14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.

Note 1. If you believe that Jesus Isa is God then 1 Corinthians 15:14 is correct and your faith is useless because the belief that a human is God is called idol worship.

Note 2. If you believe that Jesus Isa is a prophet like every prophet that came before him then your faith is the same as the faith of every human who believed in the prophets before Jesus Isa.

Note 3. The good news in the Koran Quran that God protected Prophet Jesus Isa from death on the cross like God protected Prophet Ishmael Ismail from thirst in the desert and protected Prophet Isaac Ishaq from slaughter shows that the lesson God teaches humans is to look after every life that God has created.

Note 1. Whoever has no faith in God's Books has strayed far away from God.

Quran 5:48 Verse 5:48 And to you (Prophet Muhammad) We (God) revealed the Scripture (the Quran) with the truth that confirmed the Scripture that was before it (in the Gospel Injil and the Torah Taurat) and (for you to be) a guardian over it. So judge between them (the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims) by what God has revealed and do not let their desires move you away from the truth that has come to you. For each (community of Jews, Christians and Muslims) We (God) have appointed a divine law and a way (of religion). If God willed He (God) could have made you (the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims) one community. But He (God) tests you by what He (God) has given you (to show who is best in behaviour). So strive for all that is good. To God you shall all return and He (God) shall then inform you (in the Hereafter) about (the correctness of) the religious matters in which you argue among each other.
Note 1. Do not let the desires of humans move you away from what God has revealed in God's Books.
Note 2. Nothing can change the word of God no matter how many people may dislike what God has revealed to them.

Quran 30:30 Verse 30:30 So direct yourself (Prophet Muhammad) towards the religion (the belief in one creator) for which He (God who is the one and only creator) has created (religion for) humans. No one can alter what God has created (in religion, in the Torah Taurat, the Gospel Injil and the Koran Quran)That is the right religion (belief)but most people do not know (this).

Note 1. God protects God's word in the Torah Taurat and the Koran Quran.

Note 2. God in the Torah Taurat confirms God in the Koran Quran.
Note 3. If the Torah Taurat is not protected then in the hereafter Jews could say they were misled by a Book of God that was not protected.

Note 4. If the Torah Taurat and Koran Quran were not protected then that would be proof that God does not exist.
Note 5. If the Torah Taurat named Isaac Ishaq as the son to be sacrificed and the Koran Quran named Ishmael Ismail as the son to be sacrificed that would be proof that God does not exist.

5. Some say Prophet Isaac Ishaq was to be sacrificed.

Some say Prophet Ishmael Ismail was to be sacrificed.

What does God teach?

God knew the confusion that would occur over Prophet Isaac Ishaq and Prophet Ishmael Ismail. 

When the son is old enough to work with Prophet Abraham Ibrahim both father and son understand the vision in a dream that showed Prophet Isaac Ishaq will be sacrificed in Quran 37:102 and is remembered in Quran 12:6 and 38:45 and showing three verses later in Quran 38:48 that it was not Prophet Ishmael Ismail by blessing Prophet Ishmael Ismail without his father and without the power of vision and so God decreed those revelations in Quran chapter 38 after the story of the sacrifice in Quran chapter 37 to guide by God’s word those who understand what God is teaching. Those who understand are guided by the words of God. Those who do not understand are misguided by the words of humans.

This is the same misguidance among some Christians who believe that Jesus Isa is God or a partner with God.

In the Gospel Injil there is nothing about Jesus Isa being God. Jesus Isa prays to God like every prophet before him.

In the Koran Quran Prophet Ishmael Ismail is never mentioned one time in Quran chapter 37 the story of the sacrifice but God blesses Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and Prophet Isaac Ishaq as the father and the son in the story of the sacrifice.

When humans believe the words of humans more than they believe the words of God in the Books of God the result is misguidance. Problems in the world come from misguidance.


6. Prophet Muhammad hadith story about Prophet Ishmael Ismail. 

Prophet Ishmael Ismail had already passed the age at which he was ready to work which is the age when the son was to be sacrificed because before he again met Prophet Abraham Ibrahim he had already married twice and he was already working to support a second wife after divorcing his first wife. 

In two hadith stories Prophet Muhammad makes no mention of sacrifice because Prophet Ishmael Ismail is not the son to be sacrificed.

Which son was to be sacrificed by Prophet Abraham (Ibrahim)?

The proof that God is real is that no one can change the word of God. 

The Torah and the Quran name the same son Isaac in the sacrifice of the son of Prophet Abraham because God protects His word.

No one has changed the word of God in the Torah, Gospel and Quran because; “…. No one can alter what God has created (in religion, in the Torah, the Gospel and the Quran). That is the right religion (belief)but most people do not know (this) (Quran 30:30).

The first test from God was the order to Prophet Abraham to leave Prophet Ishmael and his mother Hagar in God’s care in the desert. 

The second test from God was the order to Prophet Abraham to sacrifice his second son (Prophet Isaac) who was “his only son” that was still living in the house of Prophet Abraham with his mother Sarah after God had long ago taken away his first son Prophet Ishmael and his mother Hagar. 

Would Prophet Abraham sacrifice Prophet Isaac who was his only son after God had early taken away his first son Prophet Ishmael? 

God reminds Prophet Abraham that He (God) had already taken one son away from him by ordered him to sacrifice Prophet Isaac who was “his only son” that was still living with him. 

God names Prophet Isaac as “the good news” son 9 times in Quran chapter 11, 15, 19, 29 and 51. 

God names Prophet Isaac four times in Quran chapter 37 (twice as the good news son and twice by name). 

The only people who God blesses in the story of the sacrifice in Quran chapter 37 are Prophet Abraham and Prophet Isaac both separately and together as the father and the son.
