Quran 89:2 Ayah 89:2 And (I (Allaah) swear to the truth) by the (truth of the immoral behaviour of the stone idol worships at the Kabah in Mecca (Makkah) during the) ten nights (of the pilgrimage when those misguided worshippers prayed to stone idols and walked naked around the Kabah).

Quran 89:3 Ayah 89:3 And (I (Allaah) swear to the truth) by the (truth of the) even and the odd (number of arrows that were mixed together and then one was chosen by the stone idol worships in Mecca (Makkah) to misguidedly find guidance and misguidedly forecast the future).

Quran 89:6 Ayah 89:6 Have you not considered how your Lord (Allaah) dealt with the tribe of A’ad -

Quran 89:7 Ayah 89:7 (Also known as the people of) Iram who had (constructions with) high supports.

(Comment 1. Quran 46:21 Ayah 46:21 And mention (Prophet Hud) the brother of (the tribe of) A'ad when he warned his people among the wind-curved sand hills (Al-Ahqaf). Warners came and went before and after him (Prophet Hud) saying, “Pray to no one except Allaah because I fear for you the punishment of a tremendous Day (of punishment).”

Quran 54:18 Ayah 54:18 (The people of) A'ad rejected (the warnings) and how (terrible) was My (Allaah’s) punishment after My (Allaah’s) warnings.

Quran 54:19 Ayah 54:19 We sent them (the people of A'ad) a raging wind on a day of continuous destruction.

Quran 54:20 Ayah 54:20 (The wind) taking (the life of) people away like uprooted (fallen) palm trees.

Quran 54:21 Ayah 54:21 Then see My (Allaah’s) punishment after My (Allaah’s) warnings (were rejected by the people of A’ad).

Quran 54:22 Ayah 54:22 And We (Allaah) have truly made the Quran easy to remember but is there anyone who shall remember it (the lesson in Allaah’s punishment to the people of A’ad)?

Quran 69:7 Ayah 69:7 Which He (Allaah) imposed on them (the people of A’ad) continuously for seven long nights and eight long days so that you would have seen people lying down (dead), like (the) hollow trunks of palm-trees (that were blown down by the wind).

Quran 89:8 Ayah 89:8 The likes of which had never before been created in the land?

Quran 89:9 Ayah 89:9 And (with the tribe of) Thamud who carved out the rocks in the valley?

Quran 89:10 Ayah 89:10 And (with) Pharaoh (Firon) who was the possessor of spikes (used for torture)?

(Comment 1. Quran 2:49 Ayah 2:49 And remember when We (Allaah) rescued you (the Children of Israel) from the people of (the) Pharaoh ((Firon) in Egypt) who gave you hard tasks and punishments, killing your sons and sparing your women and this was a great trial from your Lord (Allaah).

Quran 7:119 Ayah 7:119 Thus they (the best wizards of Egypt) were defeated and humiliated.

Quran 7:120 Ayah 7:120 And the wizards fell down prostrating themselves -

Quran 7:121 Ayah 7:121 Saying, “We believe in (Allaah) the Lord of the Worlds,” -

Quran 7:122 Ayah 7:122 “The Lord (Allaah) of Moses (Musa) and Aaron (Harun).”

Quran 7:123 Ayah 7:123 Pharaoh (Firon) said, “(How dare) you believe in Him (Allaah) before I give you permission, (I know) this is a plot that you have plotted in the city so that you may drive out its people. But you shall come to know (the consequences for what you have done).” -

Quran 7:124 Ayah 7:124 “I shall surely have your hands and feet cut off on alternate sides (of your body). Then I shall crucify each one of you (to death).”

Quran 7:127 Ayah 7:127 The chiefs of Pharaoh's (Firon’s) people said, “(Pharaoh, King), shall you tolerate Prophet Moses (Musa) and his people to make mischief in the land and to disobey you and your gods?” He (Pharaoh (Firon)) said, “We shall kill their sons and spare their women, for we are in power over them.

Quran 7:133 Ayah 7:133 So We (Allaah) sent them (the Pharaoh (Firon) of Egypt and his people) the flood, the locusts, the lice, the frogs and the blood as a succession of clear signs (plagues one after the other from Allaah to them). But they were arrogant and became a guilty people (because they ignored Allaah’s warnings).

Quran 10:83 Ayah 10:83 But none believed in Prophet Moses (Musa) except (some of) the offspring of his people (the children of Israel), because of the fear of Pharaoh (Firon) and his council (of advisors) incase they should persecute them. Certainly the Pharaoh ((Firon), leader of Egypt) was a tyrant on the earth and a sinner (who rejected the path of goodness and followed the path of evil).

Quran 14:6 Ayah 14:6 And (remember) how Prophet Moses (Musa) said to his people (the children of Israel), “Remember Allaah’s favour to you when He (Allaah) delivered you (meaning, saved you) from Pharaoh's (Firon’s) people (in Egypt) who were giving you severe torment and who were killing your (new born) sons and sparing your (new born) daughters, it was a tremendous trial (of your faith sent) from your Lord (Allaah).”

Quran 20:71 Ayah 20:71 (The Pharaoh (Firon)) said (with arrogance, with his overconfidence, with his pride, with his mockery), "You (the Egyptian magicians) believed him (Prophet Moses (Musa)) before I (The Pharaoh (Firon), King of Egypt) give you permission? He (Prophet Moses (Musa)) must surely be your leader who has taught you magic. So I shall cut off your (the Egyptian magician’s) hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I shall crucify you (the Egyptian magicians) on the trunks of palm trees and you (the Egyptian magicians) shall know which of us is more severe in (giving) punishment and (that is) more lasting (in punishment).

Quran 20:72 Ayah 20:72 They (the Egyptian magicians) said, "We shall never have more regard for you (The Pharaoh (Firon)) than we have for the clear signs (from Allaah) that have come to us, or (more regard for you) than Him (Allaah) who created us (the Egyptian magicians) so decree whatever you desire to decree; for your decree can only touch the life in this world.”

Quran 20:73 Ayah 20:73 We (the Egyptian magicians) believe in our Lord (Allaah), (and pray) that He (Allaah) may forgive us our sins and the magic which you (The Pharaoh (Firon)) forced us to do (against Allaah). Allaah is better and more lasting.

Quran 26:29 Ayah 26:29 (Pharaoh (Firon)) said, “If you (Prophet Moses (Musa)) take a god other than me (Pharaoh (Firon)), I shall place you in prison.”

Quran 26:49 Ayah 26:49 (Pharaoh (Firon)) said, “You (Egyptian magicians) have put your faith in him (Prophet Moses (Musa)) before I gave you permission. He (Prophet Moses (Musa)) is surely your leader who has taught you magic. But you (Egyptian magicians) shall come to know (who has the most power). I shall cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I shall crucify every one of you (Egyptian magicians).

Quran 26:50 Ayah 26:50 They (the Egyptian magicians) said, “It is not harm (from man because everything comes from Allaah) and to our Lord (Allaah) we shall return.”

Quran 26:51 Ayah 26:51 “We hope that our Lord (Allaah) shall forgive our sins because we are the first of the (Egyptian) believers.”

Quran 28:4 Ayah 28:4 Pharaoh (Firon) exalted himself on the earth and made its people into groups. A tribe (the children of Israel) among them he (Pharaoh (Firon)) oppressed, killing their sons and sparing their women. He was among those who misbehaved (on the land).

Quran 28:5 Ayah 28:5 And We (Allaah) wanted to show favour to those who were oppressed (the children of Israel) on the land and to make them leaders and inheritors (of the land),

Quran 28:6 Ayah 28:6 And to establish them (the children of Israel) on the earth, and to show the Pharaoh ((Firon), the king of Egypt who wanted to destroy the Jewish people around 1847 – 1842 BH (1225 BCE – 1220 BCE, 1225 BC – 1220 BC) because the Jews prayed to Allaah and not to the Pharaoh (Firon)) and Haman (the Prime Minister to King Ahasuerus in Persia (today Iran) who wanted to destroy the Jewish people around 1026 BH (404 BCE, 404 BC) because one Jewish person refused to bow down and prostrate to him (Haman (Hamman)) because the Jews bow down and prostrate only to Allaah) and their soldiers what they (the Pharaoh (Firon) and Haman (Hamman)) feared (in humiliation) from them (the children of Israel, because the Jews refused to believe that the Pharaoh (Firon) and Haman (Hamman) were greater than Allaah).

(Note 1. See Quran 28:38 comments).

Quran 28:8 Ayah 28:8 And the family of the Pharaoh ((Firon), the king of Egypt) took him up (from the River Nile) so that he (baby Moses (Musa)) might become for them an enemy and a sorrow (for the Pharaoh (Firon) and his soldiers as Allaah had ordained). The Pharaoh ((Firon), the king of Egypt around 1847 – 1842 BH (1225 BCE – 1220 BCE, 1225 BC – 1220 BC) wanted to destroy the Jewish people) and (like the Pharaoh (Firon)), Haman ((Hamman) the Prime Minister to King Ahasuerus in Persia (today Iran) wanted to destroy the Jewish people around 1026 BH (404 BCE, 404 BC)) and their (the Pharaoh’s (Firon’s) and Haman’s (Hamman’s)) soldiers were men of sin.

(Note 1. See Quran 28:38 comments).

Quran 28:9 Ayah 28:9 And the wife of the Pharaoh ((Firon), the king of Egypt) said. “(Baby Moses (Musa) shall be) a comfort for me and for you so do not kill him incase he may be of use to us or we might choose him for a son.” And they did not see (the consequences of their decision which Allaah had ordained).

Quran 28:10 Ayah 28:10 And the heart of the mother of Baby Moses (Musa) forgot (the danger that every new born Jewish baby faced in Egypt when she saw her baby with the family of the Pharaoh (Firon)), and she (Jochebed) would have revealed him (as her Jewish baby) if We (Allaah) had not strengthened her heart so that she believed (firmly in what Allaah had ordained for her not to reveal that she was the Jewish mother of baby Moses (Musa)).

Quran 28:38 Ayah 28:38 Pharaoh ((Firon), the king of Egypt around 1847 – 1842 BH (1225 BCE – 1220 BCE, 1225 BC – 1220 BC) said, "Chiefs, I do not know of any Allaah for you but myself so, light for me Haman ((Hamman) the Prime Minister to King Ahasuerus in Persia (today Iran) around 1026 BH (404 BCE, 404 BC)a fire of disbelief in Allaah with) the clay (bricks made in the furnace) and build me a tower so that I can have a look at the Allaah of Prophet Moses (Musa) but I think he (Prophet Moses (Musa)) is lying."

(Note 1. A fire of disbelief in Allaah with the clay bricks made in the furnace refers to the tower of Babel (tower of Babylon) in Babylon today in Iraq in 2612 BH (1990 BCE, 1990 BC) that was erected in the plain of Shinar by the descendants of Prophet Noah (Nuh) after the great flood. This is confirmed in the Torah Genesis 11:1 – 11:9).

(Note 2. The fire of disbelief in Allaah was adopted by the Pharaoh (Firon) who carved rock blocks to make Pyramid towers in Egypt so in Quran 28:38 the clay bricks are mentioned to show that the disbelief of the Pharaoh (Firon) was the same as the disbelief of the descendants of Prophet Noah (Nuh) who had built the tower of Babel (tower of Babylon) from clay bricks because of their similar desire to see heaven long before the time of the Pharaoh (Firon). This is done to show that disbelief in Allaah is passed from one generation to the next generation.

(Note 3. The fire of disbelief in Allaah which is symbolized by the clay bricks of the tower of Babel (tower of Babylon) is passed on (adopted) by Haman (Hamman) in 1026 BH (404 BCE, 404 BC) in Persia today in Iran. This again shows how the disbelief in Allaah is passed from one generation to the next generation.

(Note 4. The Pharaoh (Firon) said, “I do not know of any Allaah for you but myself.”

(Note 5. The Pharaoh (Firon) who lived in Egypt in 1847 – 1842 BH (1225 BCE – 1220 BCE, 1225 BC – 1220 BC) tells Haman (Hamman) who lived in Persia (Iran) in 1026 BH (404 BCE, 404 BC) not to believe in Allaah and to light a fire of disbelief in Allaah in the world and carry a fire of disbelief in Allaah to the future generations of humans).

(Note 6. The fire of disbelief in Allaah which is symbolized by the clay bricks of the tower of Babel (tower of Babylon) were ignited in Babylon today in Iraq in 2612 BH (1990 BCE, 1990 BC).

(Note 7. The fire of disbelief in Allaah shall continue until the arrival of the Day of Judgement.

Quran 28:41 Ayah 28:41 And we made them (the Pharaoh (Firon) and Haman (Hamman)) leaders (who were followed by later tyrants) inviting (people) to the Fire (of punishment in the Hereafter) and on the Day of Judgment they shall find no help.

The key to correctly identify Haman (Hamman) is in Quran 40:24

Quran 40:24 Ayah 40:24 To Pharaoh ((Firon) the King of Egypt) and Haman (the Prime Minister of Persia) and Korah (Qarun, Qaroun, Qaroon, Qaaroon of the children of Israel), but they (the Pharaoh, Korah and Haman) said, “A (person who says that Allaah is more important than us is a) fraud (a deceiver), a liar.”

In the Torah (Taurat) the first to die is the Pharaoh (Firon) in the Red Sea, later Korah (Qarun) dies in the Sinai Peninsula and later still Haman (Hamman) dies in Persia. Allaah expects that every believer has read all of Allaah’s revelations so that they know that these 3 famous people lived at different times in history.

Only Satan (Shaitan) with Allaah’s permission as a test for believers would want to make Muslims believe that Allaah’s books are faulty so that they incorrectly understand the Pharaoh (Firon), Korah (Qarun), Haman (Hamman) story.

Allaah protects His word.
No one has the power to change the word of Allaah.
If humans could change the word of Allaah in the Torah (Taurat) or the Gospel (Injil) or the Quran then no revelation could be trusted.

Quran 28:42 Ayah 28:42 In this world We (Allaah) made the curse (meaning, the punishment of Allaah) overtake them (the Pharaoh (Firon) and Haman (Hamman) and their followers who were their soldiers) and on the Day of Judgment they shall be despised (far away from the mercy of Allaah).

Quran 40:25 Ayah 40:25 And when he (Prophet Moses (Musa)) brought them (the Pharaoh ((Firon) the king of Egypt)) the Truth from Us (Allaah), they (the Pharaoh (Firon)) said, “Kill the sons of those who have believed (in Allaah) with him (Prophet Moses (Musa)) but do not kill their women. But the plot of those who do not believe (in Allaah) is faulty and comes to nothing.

Quran 40:26 Ayah 40:26 Pharaoh (Firon) said, "Let me kill Prophet Moses (Musa) and let him (Prophet Moses (Musa)) call on his Lord (for help and we shall see if Allaah helps him). I fear he (Prophet Moses (Musa)) might change your religion or cause mischief (by causing divisions among the people) to appear in the land"

Quran 40:28 Ayah 40:28 A believing man from Pharaoh’s (Firon’s) people who had hidden his faith (in Allaah) said, "Shall you (Pharaoh (Firon)) kill a man because he says, ‘My Lord is Allaah’ when he has come to you with clear signs from your Lord? If he is a liar then on him is (the consequence of) his lie but if he is telling the truth then you shall be overtaken by what he has warned you. Allaah does not guide the person who disobeys (the commands of Allaah) and who lies.”

Quran 40:36 Ayah 40:36 And Pharaoh ((Firon) around 1847 – 1842 BH (1225 BCE – 1220 BCE, 1225 BC – 1220 BC) in Egypt) said, “Haman ((Hamman) around 1026 BH (404 BCE, 404 BC) in Persia, take from me the fire of disbelief and evil and) build for me a tower so that I may reach the ways (of evil and disbelief to look at a Allaah that I do not believe exists).”

Quran 40:46 Ayah 40:46 They (the followers of Pharaoh (Firon) who) are (in their graves are) brought in front of the fire in the morning and evening and on the Day of Judgment (it shall be said to them), "Put the people of the Pharaoh in the severest punishment."

(Note 1. The Punishment in the grave is for those who follow evil on the earth).

Quran 43:51 Ayah 43:51 And Pharaoh (Firon) proclaimed to his people saying, “My people, Is the dominion of Egypt and these rivers flowing under me not mine? Can you not then see (that I am the one who is supreme over all of you)?”

Quran 43:52 Ayah 43:52 "Am I not better than this (Prophet Moses (Musa)) who is of no significance and who can barely speak clearly?”

Quran 44:24 Ayah 44:24 And leave the (Red) Sea still (meaning, do not disturb the sea meaning, leave the sea as it is meaning, when the children of Israel have walked across the separated sea then leave the sea separated behind you) because they (the Pharaoh of Egypt (Firon) and his followers) are an army that shall be drowned (and when the Pharaoh of Egypt (Firon) and his army walked between the separated sea, Allaah ordered Prophet Moses (Musa) to stretch his hand over the sea and the separated waters closed the path and drowned the Pharaoh of Egypt (Firon) and his army).

Quran 51:40 Ayah 51:40 So We (Allaah) seized him (the Pharaoh (Firon)) and his army and cast (drowned) them in the sea, because he (the Pharaoh (Firon)) was to blame (for the consequences that followed his evil deeds).

Quran 79:24 Ayah 79:24 Saying, “I (the Pharaoh (Firon)) am your greatest Lord (meaning, I am your god and no one is greater than me).”

(Note 1. The Pharaoh (Firon) rejected the idea that anyone was greater than him.

(Note 2. The Pharaoh (Firon) had no interest to obey Prophet Moses (Musa) who promoted the idea that some one else existed who was greater than the Pharaoh (Firon).

Quran 38:12 Ayah 38:12 Before them (the stone idol worshippers in Mecca (Makkah)) were the people of Noah (Nuh), and (the people of) A'ad, and the Pharaoh (Firon) (who was) the possessor of spikes (used for torture) (and they all rejected the messengers of Allaah).

Quran 89:11 Ayah 89:11 Who were all rebellious (against Allaah) in the lands.

Quran 89:12 Ayah 89:12 And made plenty of misbehavior (against the people) in it (the land).

Quran 89:13 Ayah 89:13 So the Lord (Allaah) poured His (Allaah’s) punishment on them (who had rebelled against Allaah and misbehaved against the people).

Quran 89:14 Ayah 89:14 Your Lord (Allaah) is always watching.

Quran 89:15 Ayah 89:15 When your Lord (Allaah) tests a person by being generous to them and favouring them, they (who have pride and arrogance) say, “My Lord (Allaah) has honoured me” (instead of correctly thanking Allaah).

Quran 89:16 Ayah 89:16 But when He (Allaah) tests a person by restricting their provisions, they (who have pride and arrogance) say, “My Lord (Allaah) has humiliated me” (instead of correctly thanking Allaah for what they have and being patient).

Quran 89:17 Ayah 89:17 Indeed (the earth is a trial and in the hereafter is the greatest reward and the greatest punishment) but you (the wrongdoers) do not respect the (rights of the) orphan.

Quran 89:18 Ayah 89:18 And you do not encourage each other to feed the poor.

Quran 89:19 Ayah 89:19 And you completely consume the inheritance (that belong to other people instead of carefully managing the assets of other people such as the orphan that have been put in your care).

Quran 89:20 Ayah 89:20 And you have a great love for wealth.

Quran 89:21 Ayah 89:21 Indeed (the earth is a trial and in the hereafter is the greatest reward and the greatest punishment and) when the earth is crushed to dust.

Quran 89:22 Ayah 89:22 And your Lord (Allaah) has come (to give judgement) and the angels are (lined up) in ranks.

Quran 89:23 Ayah 89:23 And on that Day (of Judgement) Hell is brought near (to view) and then a person shall remember (what had been revealed on the earth) but how shall that remembrance (be of any help to them in the hereafter, since they shall already on that day be responsible for what they had done on the earth)?

Quran 89:24 Ayah 89:24 The person shall say, “I wish I had sent (good deeds during my life) before (my death as an investment) for my (everlasting) life (in the hereafter).

Quran 89:25 Ayah 89:25 On that Day (of Judgement) no one can punish (as severely) as He (Allaah) shall punish (the wrongdoer).

Quran 89:26 Ayah 89:26 And no one can contain (as strongly) as He (Allaah) shall contain (the wrongdoer).

Quran 89:27 Ayah 89:27 (To the righteous it shall be said), “O Soul who has no worries (and who is at peace)”

(Comment 1. Quran 13:28 Ayah 13:28 The believers (in Allaah are those) whose hearts have satisfaction in the remembrance of Allaah (and Allaah’s promise of the reward of Paradise). It is surely in the remembrance of Allaah (and Allaah’s promise of the reward of Paradise) that the hearts (of the believers) find satisfaction.

Quran 91:9 Ayah 91:9 The one who cleans it (their soul of sin) has succeeded (in the hereafter).

Quran 89:28 Ayah 89:28 Return to your Lord (Allaah) satisfied (with your striving) and blessed (by Allaah).

Quran 89:29 Ayah 89:29 And enter among My (Allaah’s righteous) servants.

Interpretations of the Quran (Al-Quran, Al Quran).

This is an interpretation of some of the meanings in the Quran.
This is not a perfect translation of the Quran because the Quran is in the Arabic language.
The Arabic language in the Quran must be understood as it was understood over 1400 years ago.
Allaah guides who He wills to the correct understanding of the Quran.
In the English language the word Allaah is God.
Allaah (God) is the creator of the Jews, Christians, Muslims and everyone and everything that exists.
