Some punishments are only for Allaah to give.

Allaah does not allow people to give punishments for which only Allaah has the right and the wisdom to give.

In the Torah and the Quran Allaah punished the people of Sodom for threatening violent homosexual attack against the angels of Allaah which is what the people in Sodom did when a new male visitor came to their town.
In that story the one who makes the judgment and the punishment is Allaah it is not humans.
Jesus (Isa) said "Let the one among you who has not sinned throw the first stone".
Jesus (Isa) is saying that people must let Allaah be the only judge of who has sinned against Allaah.
It is not for humans to judge which other human has sinned against Allaah because every human has made sin.
Only Allaah is the judge and Allaah has given every human a lifetime in which they can freely choose any path in life and a life time over which the human can choose to repent by praying to Allaah for forgiveness.
It is not for humans to judge other humans in matters where only Allaah has the wisdom and the knowledge to know what is in the human heart and only Allaah knows if a human heart has a sin against Allaah or a blessing that is given by Allaah.

There is a difference between homosexuality and violent homosexual attack.

There is a difference between heterosexuality and violent heterosexual attack.

Torah Genesis 19:26 But his wife looked back from behind him (Prophet Lot (Lut)), and she became a pillar of salt (white crystal power, she died).

Torah Genesis 19:27 And Prophet Abraham (Ibrahim) got up early in the morning to the place where he had stood before the Lord (Allah).

Torah Genesis 19:28 And he (Prophet Abraham (Ibrahim)) looked out towards Sodom and Gomorrah, and towards all the land of the Plain, and (he) looked, and, (Oh it was something terrible) the smoke of the land went up like the smoke of a furnace.

(Comment 4. Allah protects His Quran, His Torah (Tawrah, Tawrat, Taurat, Tavrat) and His Gospel (Injil, Injeel, Enjil, Enjeel, Al-Enjeel).
Allah protects His word.

No one has the power to change the word of Allah.
If humans could change the word of Allah in the Torah (Taurat) or the Gospel (Injil) or the Quran then no revelation could be trusted.

Quran 54:36 Ayah 54:36 And he (Prophet Lot (Lut)) had warned them (the people of Sodom) of Our (Allah’s) grasp (punishment) but they doubted the warnings.

Quran 54:37 Ayah 54:37 But they (the people of Sodom who were hitting the door of Prophet Lot (Lut)) demanded (to violently assault) his (Prophet Lot’s (Lut’s)) guests (the angels of Allah) so We (Allah) blinded their eyes (of the people of Sodom who were hitting the door of Prophet Lot (Lut), saying), “Taste My (Allah’s) punishment after My (Allah’s) warnings.”

Comment 1. Men of Sodom threaten to commit a violent homosexual attack against the angels of Allah.

Quran 15:71 Verse 15:71 He (Prophet Lot Lut) said, “Here are my daughters (to marry), if you want (a legal way to satisfy your lust).”

Quran 15:72 Verse 15:72 In truth (as an oath “on your life”, to tell you Prophet Muhammad, the truth about what really happened), they were in wild desire (of lust for young men so they refused the offer of the daughters. Those that wanted to break down the door of Prophet Lot Lut were made) blind (by the angels with the permission of Allah), so they wandered around (unable to find the door and so all inside the home of Prophet Lot Lut were safe).

Comment 2. What was the indecency that no people in creation has ever done before the people of Sodom?

What was the wrong doing in Sodom?

The people of Sodom violated the tradition of welcoming visitors.

The people of Sodom comitted a crime that no other creation had committed before them.

When male visitors came to Sodom they were violently attacked and forceful homosexual rape was committed against the visitor.

This crime was confirmed when the people of Sodom attempted to violently attack and commit forceful homosexual rape against the angels of Allah.

Never before had the people of a town conspired together to abuse visitors by violating the tradition of hospitality towards visitors.

Before the angels of Allah arrived in Sodom they were welcomed with the correct traditional hospitality of food and drink offered to them by Prophet Abraham Ibrahim.

When the angels of Allah arrived in Sodom they were welcomed with the correct traditional hospitality when Prophet Lot Lut offered safety to the angels of Allah who were threatened by the people of Sodom.

The men of Sodom threatened to commit a violent homosexual attack against the angels of Allah.

By threatening violent homosexual attack to the angels of Allah the people of Sodom showed that they had sinned against Allah.

Quran 7:80 Verse 7:80 And (Allah sent) Prophet Lot Lut when he said to his people (in Sodom, in the southern end of the Dead Sea, today in Israel), “Are you going to commit an indecency that no people in creation has ever done before you?”

Homosexuality in the Koran Quran

Some punishments are only for Allah to give.

Allah does not allow people to give punishments for which only Allah has the right and the wisdom to give.

In the Torah Taurat and the Koran Quran Allah punished the people of Sodom for threatening violenthomosexual attack against the angels of Allah.

The people in Sodom threatened violent homosexual attack against new male visitors to their town.
In that story the one who makes the judgment and the punishment is
Allah it is not humans.
Jesus Isa said "Let the one among you who has not sinned throw the first stone".
Jesus Isa is saying that people must let
Allah be the only judge of who has sinned against Allah
It is not for humans to judge which other human has sinned against
Allah because every human has made sin.
Only
Allah is the judge and Allah has given every human a lifetime in which they can freely choose any path in life and a life time over which the human can choose to repent by praying to Allah for forgiveness.
It is not for humans to judge other humans in matters where only
Allah has the wisdom and the knowledge to know what is in the human heart and only Allah knows if a human heart has a sin against Allah or a blessing that is given by Allah.

See Quran 54:37, 54:39 and 54:40 comments.

Comment 4. There is a difference between homosexuality and violent homosexual attack.

The crime of violent attack to commit forceful homosexual rape by a male against another male is as evil in the sight of Allah as is the crime of violent attack to commit forceful hetrosexual rape by a male against a female.

Violence is a crime against humans.

Sexuality is judged by Allah.

Comment 5. There is a difference between heterosexuality and violent heterosexual attack.

The crime of violent attack to commit forceful homosexual rape by a male against another male is as evil in the sight of Allah as is the crime of violent attack to commit forceful hetrosexual rape by a male against a female.

Violence is a crime against humans.

Comment 6. What is the meaning of the story of Sodom and Gomorrah?

What is the meaning of the story of Sodom and Gomorrah in Islam?

What is the meaning of the story of Sodom and Gomorrah in Christianity?

What is the meaning of the story of Sodom and Gomorrah in Judaism?

Homosexual rape is only one of the ways in which the people of Sodom violated hospitality.

The significance of this story is not the homosexual rape but the breaking of the law of hospitality towards strangers.

Homosexual rape was only one of the ways the people of Sodom violated Allah’s law of hospitality.

Allah's law of hospitality towards strangers and travellers is shown in the hospitality shown by Prophet Abraham Ibrahim towards three strangers who were really three angels travelling in the form of humans.

A writer named Jay Michaelson has made an interesting comment saying that “the understanding of the story of Sodom as being about homosexuality is like reading the story of an axe murderer as being about the story of an axe.” No it is the story of murder.

In the same way the story of Sodom is not about violent homosexual rape but the story of violating Allah’s law of hospitality towards strangers and travellers.

This understanding is confirmed in Rabbinic writings which reveal that the people of Sodom committed murder such as giving money to beggers and then refusing to sell them food and then taking their money back when the begger died of starvation (James Alfred Loader 1990. A tale of two cities : Sodom and Gomorrah in the Old Testament, early Jewish and early Christian traditions. Peeters Publishers. p. 28).

The book of Rabbinic literature the Mishnah proposes that “the sin of Sodom is the lack of compassion among its people.”

This is a major sin because Allah is the example of the most merciful and the most compassionate.

Allah is the example of mercy and compassion for humans to follow.

When Allah revealed in the Torah Taurat that humans are made in the image of Allah this is not a physical image but a spiritual one where every human has been given a portion of mercy and compassion in their heart,

Those who see the story of Sodom as the story of violent homosexual rape have missed the central theme which is the lack of compassion among the people of Sodom compared to the great compassion shown by Prophet Lot Lut and Prophet Abraham Ibrahim.

In the Talmud Rabbinic literature Sanhedrin 109a the people of Sodom heard that Paltith the daughter of Prophet Lot Lut had given bread to a begger who had entered the town.

The people of Sodom bunt her and smeered her with honey and hung her on the city wall to be eaten by bees. Her screams were heard by Allah.

Genesis 18:20 And the LORD (Allah) said: “The cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their (the people of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah) sin is extremely serious.”.

Jeremiah 23:13 And I have seen what is not proper in the prophets of Samaria: they prophesied by Baal (the idol Allah), and caused My (Allah’s) people Israel to go astray.

Jeremiah 23:14 But in the prophets of Jerusalem Al-Quds I  have seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery, and live by lies, and they strengthen the hands of evil-doers, that none returns (to righteousness) from his wickedness; all of them have become to Me (Allah) like the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Note 1. The punishment of Sodom and Gomorrah was not for one sin but for many great sins.

Allah reveals that the idol worshipping, adultery, lies and evil doing in Jerusalem Al-Quds in the time ofProphet Jeremiah Aramaya Irmiya‎ is like what existed in Sodom and Gomorrah in the time of Prophet Lot Lut.

Amos 4:1 Hear this word, you relations of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, that oppress the poor, that crush the needy ...”

Amos 4:11 I have overthrown some of you, as Allah overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah ...”

Note 1. The punishment of Sodom and Gomorrah was not for one sin but for many great sins.

Allah reveals that the oppression of the poor and the needy in the time of Prophet Amos is like what existed in Sodom and Gomorrah in the time of Prophet Lot Lut.

Ezekiel 16:49 Look, this was the wickedness of your sister Sodom: pride, fulness of bread, and careless ease was in her and in her daughters (surrounding cities); neither did she (the people of Sodom) strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

Ezekiel 16:50 And they were arrogant and committed abomination (evil) before Me (Allah); therefore I (Allah) removed them when I saw it.

Note 1. The punishment of Sodom and Gomorrah was not for one sin but for many great sins.

Allah reveals that arrogance, evil and the oppression of the poor and the needy in the time of Prophet EzekielDhul-Kifl Zulkifl is like what existed in Sodom and Gomorrah in the time of Prophet Lot Lut.

Gospel of Matthew 11:23 And you, (the town of) Capernaum (on the Sea of Galilee in Israel), will you be exalted to the skies?  No, you will sink as far as Hades (Hell). Because if the miracles that happened in you had taken place in Sodom, it would have remained (in Sodom north of the Dead Sea in Canaan today Israel) until this day.

Gospel of Matthew 11:24 Regardless, I (Prophet Jesus Isa) tell you, it will be more bearable for (the people of the town of) Sodom on the day of judgment than for you (the people in the town of Capernaum)."

Note 1. The punishment of Sodom and Gomorrah was not for one sin but for many great sins.

All the sins of Sodom are not as great as the sin of rejecting a prophet of Allah.

The people of Sodom rejected Prophet Lot Lut however Propeht Jesus Isa reveals that if the people of Sodom had seen the miracles Jesus Isa had shown to the people in Capernaum then the people of Sodom would have believed and all their sins forgiven and therefore their city would not have been destroyed and Sodom would still be in existance.

Note 2. Prophet Jesus Isa confirmed that Allah forgives all sin great and small to those people who believe that the mercy and compassion (kindness) of Allah is the best gift that has been put in the heart of humans to guide human behaviour.

Quran 54:38 Ayah 54:38 And in the early morning a lasting punishment (the loss of their life) came to them (the people of Sodom).

Quran 54:39 Ayah 54:39 So taste My (Allah’s) punishment after My (Allah’s) warnings (were rejected by the people of Sodom).

Comment 1. Allah does not allow people to give punishments for which only Allah has the right and the wisdom to give.

For example Allah clearly states that the punishment for adultery in Quran chapter 24 is not death and follows that commandment with examples of married women in adultery yet many people do not believe Allah and they say Quran chapter 24 is a punishment for unmarried women and ignore the fact that Allah is talking about both married and unmarried women after commanding a punishment for adultery which does not result in death.

People have invented different punishments for non violent homosexuality by completely misunderstand the story of the people of Sodom who were so wicked that they threatened the angels of Allah with violent homosexual attack.

When people become violent by killing someone for none violent homosexual behaviour where are the angels of Allah like those that were threatened in Sodom? And where is the violent homosexual attack like those on any people who visited Sodom?

Allah has the wisdom and the right to do what Allah wills but people who try to copy what Allah has done show they have no understanding and no sense because Allah has given no one authority to copy the punishments that only Allah is allowed to do.

No one can copy what Allah does because no one has the wisdom of Allah or the rights of Allah.

The dictator and the arrogant think that they can do whatever they want but in some things only Allah has a right and those examples from Allah are not for people to copy but they are described by Allah to give a lesson.

How many people did Prophet Muhammad kill for none violent homosexual behaviour? None, not one person.

Allah is the Most Merciful so where are the people who copy Allah’s great example of mercy and who only offer kind advice after they have spoken gently and have listened with understanding to their fellow humans?

See 11.1 Misguidance: The misguided killing of homosexuals.

In Allah removed stoning to death for adultery.

The error of stoning to death for adultery.

How Allah removed stoning to death for adultery in the Torah (Taurat), Gospel (Injil) and Quran.

How Allah removed stoning to death in the Quran three times.

In the Quran the law for illegal sexual intercourse for unmarried Muslims is Quran 4:15 – 4:18.

In the Quran the law for adultery by married Muslims is Quran 4:25 and 24:1 – 24:2.

Quran 54:40 Ayah 54:40 And We (Allah) have truly made the Quran easy to remember but is there anyone who shall remember it (the lesson in Allah’s punishment to the people of Sodom)?

(Comment 1. The lesson in Allah’s punishment to the people of Sodom is that you can avoid the punishment of Allah by obeying the warnings from Allah to do good deeds and avoid the evil deeds).

(Comment 2. Allah’s punishment to the people of Sodom does not come from people but is a punishment that comes from Allah through Allah’s angels).

(Comment 3. The people of Sodom were so wicked that they threatened violent homosexual attack against the angels of Allah).

(Comment 4. People have no authority from Allah to give punishments that only Allah has the right and the wisdom to give.

See 11.1 Misguidance: The misguided killing of homosexuals.

Comment 7. Although human sexual desire towards anything is possible it is sexual desire between the opposite sexes that makes the existence of humans possible.

Comment 8. Why does Allah promote an increasing human population?

Allah has given humans permission to travel beyond the heavens and the Earth.

Quran 55:33 Verse 55:33 O company of jinn and humans, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You shall never be able to pass them except with (Allah’s) authority (and with the knowledge that is given by Allah to you).

Note 1. By allowing space travel Allah has destined humans to multiply and live on other worlds such as the Moon, Mars and beyond.

Hadith (stories from humans about Prophet Muhammad and the early Muslims) that show the sunnah (the examples of what Prophet Muhammad and the early Muslims said or did). Hadith that correctly adds to our understanding of Allah’s Quran is a blessing. Hadith that adds to the Quran something that is against what Allah has revealed in Allah’s Quran is a hadith from Satan (Shaitan) to test who believes Allah’s Quran and who believes something that is against what Allah has revealed in Allah’s Quran. This is the same test Allah made for the Christians in the Gospel (Injil) to test who believed the hadith (story from humans) that Prophet Jesus (Isa) was Allah and who reject Satan (Shaitan) and only believe what Allah revealed in the Gospel (Injil) where Prophet Jesus (Isa) always prayed to Allah like every prophet before him had done and never claimed he was Allah and said another messenger (“the comforter” in the Gospel of John (Injil of John) 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15) would come after him like every prophet before him had promised. Like Prophet Elijah (Elias) who was raised by Allah into heaven in the Torah (Taurat) so also was Prophet Jesus (Isa) raised by Allah into heaven in the Gospel (Injil).
