Comment 1. God loves the pen. God loves the pen for recording and teaching.

God loves writing. God loves writing for recording and teaching.

God loves recording. God loves recording and teaching by writing.

God loves books. God loves books for recording and teaching.

1a. The Preserved Book of the decrees of God.

The Preserved Book of the decrees of God were made when God commanded a pen to write.

God has decreed the past and the present and the future.

A Book called the Preserved Book Al-Lawh Al-Mahfuth or the Book of Decrees contains everything decreed by God in the past and the present and the future.

This is a Book that only the angels can touch.
The decrees of God come to the creation through the angels of God.
Some matters that God has decreed are secret for example even the angels do not know the time of the hour for the Day of Resurrection and Judgement.

Gospel of John 1:1 In the beginning (before anything was created) was the Word (which God had decreed), and the Word (which God had decreed) was with God, and the Word (which God had decreed) was God (meaning everything is decreed by God).

Note 1. Before anything was created God already existed.

Note 2. Before anything was created God had decreed the past and the present and the future.

Gospel of John 1:2 He (meaning everything that God had decreed) was with God in the beginning (meaning God decreed the past and the present and the future before anything was created).

Note 1. Before anything was created God had decreed the past and the present and the future.

Note 2. The decree of the past present and future for every creation was with God in the beginning.

Gospel of John 1:3 Through him (God) all things were made, and without him (God) not one thing was made that has been made.

Note 1. There is not one creation that God has not created therefore God created every creation including the Holy Spirit angel Gabriel Jibril and Jesus Isa who is a human and a prophet who foretells the future and a messenger who delivers the Gospel Injil and a messiah anointed as a righteous servant of God.

Gospel of John 1:4 In him (God) was life (that God had decreed), and (in) that life (that God had decreed there) was the light (of guidance) for humankind.

Note 1. In the life that God created God included guidance for human behaviour that is delivered by the prophets of God who foretell the future and the messengers of God who deliver the Books of God such as the Torah Taurat, the Gospel Injil and the Koran Quran.

Gospel of John 1:5 And the light (of guidance) shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not mastered it (because darkness is removed when the light of guidance shines).

Note 1. Throughout history God has sent prophets, messengers and messiahs to teach and preach the word of God as a light to guide human behaviour.

Quran 56:77 Verse 56:77 That this is an honourable Quran (an honourable recitation).

Quran 56:78 Verse 56:78 In a Book (the Preserved Book, al-Mahfuz in heaven) that is protected (by God).

Quran 56:79 Verse 56:79 Which none but the purified (angels in heaven) can touch.

Quran 80:13 Verse 80:13 (The Quran is recorded) in honourable pages (in heaven in the Preserved Book, al-Mahfuz) -

Quran 80:14 Verse 80:14 (Pages that are) exalted (by the angels in heaven who recite them day and night), and (who are) purified (by God).

Quran 80:15 Verse 80:15 (Pages carriedby the hands of (the angels in heaven).

Quran 56:79 Verse 56:79 Which none but the purified (angels in heaven) can touch.

1b. The Book of the deeds of each human written by two angels.

A Book of the deeds of each human and jinn is written by two angels on the Earth.

God has decreed that two angels record the deeds of each human.

Quran 50:17 Verse 50:17 There are two (angels assigned to each person) listening, one (angel) sitting on the right (recording the righteous deeds of that person) and one (angel) on the left (recording the evil deeds of that person).

Quran 54:53 Verse 54:53 And everything small and big (of their deeds) is written down (by one of two angels as it happens).

1c. The written record of deeds given to each person on the Day of Judgement.

A written record of deeds will be given to each person on the Day of Judgement as proof that God's judgement of them is correct.

Quran 36:12 Verse 36:12 We (God) give life to the dead (on the Day of Resurrection and Judgement) and We (God) record the deeds they (the human and the jinn) have done and what they (the human and the jinn) have left behind (of good or evil that are followed by others). We (God) keep it (the record of the deeds of every creation) in a clear Register (where good and bad deeds are listed and the balance is calculated and this record shall be given to each human and jinn on the Day of Judgement).

Quran 18:48 Verse 18:48 And they (all humankind) shall be in front of your Lord (God) in rows (and God shall say), "Now you have come to Us (God) as We (God) first created you (all together as one community). But you did not (all) believe that We (God) had appointed a meeting for you (with God in the herafter)."

Quran 45:28 Verse 45:28 And (on the Day of Judgement) you shall see each nation kneeling (humble in the presence of God). Each nation shall be called to its record (and told), “Today you shall be paid for what you used to do (in your life).”

Quran 45:29 Verse 45:29 This Our (God’s) record speaks truthfully about you. We (God) have caused all that you did to be recorded (by angels).

Quran 18:49 Verse 18:49 And the record of their deeds shall be placed (in the hand of each person), and you shall see the sinful in fear of what is (recorded) there. They shall say, “What kind of Book is this that leaves out nothing small or great, but takes account of everything (we did in our life)." And they shall find all that they did (in their life) placed before them (in the Hereafter) and your Lord (God) shall treat no one with injustice (on the Day of Judgement).

On the Day of Resurrection and Judgement those who have been judged by God to go to Hell Jahannam shall be given from behind their back (Quran 84:10) so they do not see the mercy of God a written record of their evil deeds in their left hand.

Quran 50:21 Verse 50:21 And every soul comes (after the destruction of the first creation to the Day of Resurrection in the hereafter) with (an angel as) a driver (who shows them where to go in the hereafterand (an angel as) a witness (who is carrying a record of their deeds).

Quran 56:41 Verse 56:41 And those (whose record of deeds is given) on the left hand. Who are those of the left hand? (They are the people with evil deeds who have been cursed because they lost God’s mercy and they shall enter Hell Jahannam).

Quran 56:42 Verse 56:42 In a scorching (hot) wind (from the fire) and in boiling water.

Note 1. Quran 17:60 Verse 17:60 “.... We (God) warn (people to do what is good and avoid what is evil) and make them afraid (of God by describing the home for evil doers in Hell Fire Jahannam in the Hereafter) but it only increases them (some of the humans) in nothing but greater disobedience against God (and the commandment to do what is good and avoid what is evil).

Quran 18:49 Verse 18:49 And the Record of their deeds shall be placed (in the hand of each person), and you shall see the sinful in fear of what is (recorded) there. They shall say, “What kind of Book is this that leaves out nothing small or great, but takes account of all." And they shall find all that they did (in their life) placed before them (in the Hereafter) and your Lord (God) shall treat no one with injustice (on the Day of Judgement).

On the Day of Resurrection and Judgement those who have been judged by God to go to Paradise Jannah shall be given a written record of their righteous deeds in their right hand.

Quran 56:90 Verse 56:90 And if they are of those (whose record of deeds is given) on the right hand. (They are the people with good deeds who have been blessed with God’s mercy and they shall enter Paradise Jannah).

Quran 56:91 Verse 56:91 Then (the angels shall say), "Peace is to you, (you are) among the companions of the right hand (who are among the people with good deeds who have been blessed with God’s mercy and you shall enter Paradise Jannah).”

1d. The written records in Hell Jahannam and in Paradise Jannah.

a. A written record called Sijjin is kept in Hell Jahannam.
The written record of those who shall live in Hell Jahannam is in a Book called Sijjin that is kept in Hell Jahannam.
Quran 83:9 Verse 83:9 It is a written record (it is a Book called Sijjin containing a list of the wicked and their wicked deeds who shall live in Hell Jahannam. This Book called Sijjin is kept in Hell Jahannam).
b. A written record called Illiyin is kept in Paradise Jannah.
Quran 83:20 Verse 83:20 It is a written record (it is a Book called Illiyin containing a list of the righteous and their righteous deeds who shall live in Paradise Jannah. This Book called Illiyin is kept in Paradise Jannah).

1e. God tells Prophet Muhammad the importance of the pen in the first revelation of the Quran.

Why did God teach every messenger of God how to use the pen?

Why did God teach every messenger of God how to read and write?

Quran 96:4 Verse 96:4 (It is God) who taught (the messengers of God, Prophet Moses Musa, Prophet David Dawud, Prophet Jesus Isa and Prophet Muhammad) how to use the pen (for writing the Torah Taurat and the Psalms Zabur and the Gospel Injil and the Koran Quran and thereby)

Quran 96:5 Verse 96:5 Taught the human (by revealing the Torah Taurat and the Psalms Zabur and the Gospel Injil and the Koran Quran) what (knowledge of God) they (the humans) did not know.

If the messengers of God could not read and write then they could not check what their scribes had written.

If the messengers of God could not read and write then they would not know the correct spelling of each word of God.

If the messengers of God could not read and write then they could not be held responsible for correctly conveying the message of God if their scribes made errors in their writings.

The importance of the pen is revealed by God in both the first revelation of the Quran known as Quran chapter 96 and the second revelation of the Quran known as Quran chapter 68 because God is telling Prophet Muhammad to immediately begin to write down what God is revealing to his heart (mind, brain).

God was commanding His messenger to write down with a pen with his own hand what was revealed to him.

It is the Prophet of God who is responsible to correctly convey the message of God therefore it was necessary that the Prophet be able to read and write otherwise he would not be able to check what scribes had recorded.

To convey the message of God every messenger is given the skill of reading and writing.

If God is commanding humans to use the pen as the very first and second revelations in the Quran from God then certainly God is commanding His messenger Prophet Muhammad to use the pen.

1f. God again tells Prophet Muhammad the importance of the pen in the second revelation of the Quran.

Quran 68:1 Verse 68:1 Nun. By (the truth of the existence of) the pen and (by the truth of) what they (the messengers of God, Prophet Moses Musa, Prophet David Dawud, Prophet Jesus Isa and Prophet Muhammad) write (in the Torah Taurat and the Psalms Zabur and the Gospel Injil and the Koran Quran, I God proclaim that)

See Quran chapter 68. The second revelation from God to Prophet Muhammad here:

1g. God and the angels and the messengers of God all used the pen for writing.

If you were Prophet Muhammad and God told you the importance of the pen in the first and the second revelation of the Quran would you not use a pen?
Would you recite the revelations of God for 23 years telling people about the importance of using a pen without using a pen?

Nowhere in the Quran does God say Prophet Muhammad cannot read and write.

Those who use the hadith story from humans that Prophet Muhammad could not read and write to understand the words in the Quran only hide from themself the true meaning of every verse in the Quran for which they are using that story to understand the word of God.

They hide the true meaning from them self of every verse containing the words ummi, lettered and unlettered because none of these words mean the ability or inability to read and write.

They change in their mind the true meanings of the verses in the Quran by making those verses fit the idea that Prophet Muhammad can not read and write.

Nowhere in the Quran does God say Prophet Muhammad cannot read and write.
If hadith stories agree with the Quran then accept it.

If hadith stories do not agree with the Quran then reject it.
On the Day of Judgement God judges by the words in the protected Quran.
On the Day of Judgement God does not judge by the words in unprotected human hadith stories.
The Quran is the protected word of God including the protected words of Prophet Muhammad.

See 1. What does Ummi mean?

What does lettered and unlettered mean?

Unlettered does not mean a person who cannot read and write.

Unlettered ummi does not mean a community that cannot read and write.

There are people in every ummi who can read and write that is why writing containing announcements were placed on the wall of the Kabah to be read by those who could read in the time of Prophet Muhammad.

Prophet Muhammad can read and write.

Quran 83:10 Verse 83:10 Misfortune (the loss of God’s mercy) is on that Day (of Judgement) to the deniers

Quran 83:11 Verse 83:11 – Those who deny the (existence of God’s) Day of Judgement.

Quran 83:12 Verse 83:12 No one can deny it (God’s Day of Judgement) except the transgressor (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah who follow evil behaviour instead of following good behaviour).

Quran 83:13 Verse 83:13 And when Our (God’s) verses (the Quran) are recited to them (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah), they say, “(These are the) stories from the peoples of the past.”

Quran 83:14 Verse 83:14 No (those stories of the past were not from people but were inspired in humans by God in the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and the Quran). What (sin) they (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) have earned is a stain that has covered their hearts (and so they have no love of God and no fear of God and they have lost God’s mercy).

Comment 1. God protects the Torah, Gospel and Quran.
God protects His word.
No one has the power to change the word of God.
If humans could change the word of God in the Torah Taurat or the Gospel Injil or the Quran then no revelation could be trusted.

Comment 2. Why is the Quran from God?
The Quran is from God because the truth of Quran 3:3, 12:111, 26:196, 27:76, 37:37, 39:27, 39:28 and 41:43 can be directly confirmed by every human today because God protects the Torah Taurat, Gospel Injil and Quran.

God protects His Books so that every human can directly confirm the truth that is revealed to them.

Quran 3:3 Verse 3:3 He (God) revealed to you (Prophet Muhammad) the Book (the Quran) of truth confirming what came before it (in the Torah Taurat and in the Gospel Injil), and He (God) revealed the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil.

Quran 12:111 Verse 12:111 "... It (the Quran) is not an invented story but it is a confirmation of what came before it (in the Scriptures of the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil) ..."

Quran 26:196 Verse 26:196 It (the revelations from God in the Quran) is (also) in the Scriptures of the people of the past (in the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil).

Quran 27:76 Verse 27:76 This Quran explains to the Children of Israel most of the (religious) matters in which they have had disagreements.

Quran 37:37 Verse 37:37 No (you should not if he was mad) but he (Prophet Muhammad) brought the Truth, and he confirmed (the truth of) those (messengers of God who were) sent (before him).

Quran 39:27 Verse 39:27 And We (God) have made for people all kinds of examples in this Quran so that they (the people) might think (and understand and remember God).

Quran 39:28 Verse 39:28 (It is) a Quran in Arabic without deviation (from the truth) so that you might become righteous (in good behaviour by remembering God).

Quran 41:43 Verse 41:43 Nothing is said (by God) to you (Prophet Muhammad) except what has already been said to the messengers before you. Your Lord (God) is the possessor of forgiveness and severe punishment.

Quran 83:15 Verse 83:15 No (those stories of the past were not from people but were inspired in humans by God in the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and the Quran). On that Day (of Judgement) they (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) shall be partitioned from (the mercy of) their Lord (and they shall not be given the pleasure of seeing God’s mercy because they had no love of God and no fear of God and no belief in God).

Comment 1. See Quran 83:14 comment.

Quran 83:16 Verse 83:16 Then they (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) shall (enter and) burn in Hell Jahannam.

Comment 1.

Quran 83:17 Verse 83:17 And then it shall be said (not by God but by an angel) to them (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah), “This (Day of Judgement) is what you used to deny.”

Quran 83:18 Verse 83:18 The record of the righteous is in Illiyin Elleyyeen.

Quran 83:19 Verse 83:19 And what can explain to you what is Illiyin Elleyyeen?

Quran 83:20 Verse 83:20 It is a written record (it is a Book called Illiyin containing a list of the righteous and their righteous deeds who shall live in Paradise Jannah. This Book called Illiyin is kept in Paradise Jannah).

Comment 1. See Quran 83:9 comments.

Quran 83:21 Verse 83:21 (Paradise Jannah) shall be seen by all those who are brought near (to the mercy of God).

Quran 83:22 Verse 83:22 The righteous shall be in pleasure (in the gardens of Paradise Jannah) -

Quran 83:23 Verse 83:23 Looking while (sitting) on couches.

Quran 83:24 Verse 83:24 You shall recognise the (bright) radiance of goodness in their faces.

Quran 83:25 Verse 83:25 They shall be given a drink of pure (none intoxicating) wine sealed (meaning at the end of drinking)

Quran 83:26 Verse 83:26 Its end (at the end of that drink shall have the fragrance of) musk so let everyone compete in racing to the goal (of Paradise Jannah in the hereafter by doing what is good on the Earth and by not doing what is evil on the Earth).

Quran 83:27 Verse 83:27 And (they shall drink it) mixed with (the water of) Tasnim

Quran 83:28 Verse 83:28 A spring from which those (who have been brought) near (to the mercy of God shall) drink.

Quran 83:29 Verse 83:29 The wrongdoers (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) used to laugh at those who believed (in God).

Quran 83:30 Verse 83:30 And when they (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) passed by them (the believers of God) they (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) used to exchange glances (that showed their ridicule for those who believed in God).

Quran 83:31 Verse 83:31 And when they (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) returned to their people they would joke (about how they had ridiculed those who believed in God).

Quran 83:32 Verse 83:32 And whenever they (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) saw them (the believers of God) they said, “those (people) are misguided (away from the truth of our stone idol gods).”

Quran 83:33 Verse 83:33 But they (the believers of God) were not sent as guardians over them (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah, because God has given freedom of belief and freedom of religion to every person).

Comment 1. God has given humans freedom to choose their belief.

God has given humans freedom to choose their religion.

See: God has given humans freedom to choose their belief in Quran 76:29 comments here:

Quran 83:34 Verse 83:34 So today (God’s Day of Judgement) the believers (in God) are laughing at the disbelievers (as part of God’s punishment to those who disbelieved in God).

Comment 1. Quran 83:34 is one punishment for the stone idol worshippers in Makkah on the Day of Judgement from God.

Another punishment for the wrongdoers on the Day of Judgement from God is in Quran 83:15.

Quran 83:15 Verse 83:15….. On that Day (of Judgement) they (the wrongdoers) shall be partitioned from (the mercy of) their Lord (and they shall not be given the pleasure of seeing God’s mercy because they had no love of God and no fear of God and no belief in God).”

Quran 83:35 Verse 83:35 (The righteous shall be) looking while (sitting) on couches (in Paradise Jannah).

Quran 83:36 Verse 83:36 On this Day (of Judgement) have not those who disbelieved (in God) not been rewarded for what they used to do?

Comment 1. See Quran 83:34 comments.
