Chapter : Verse.
(Information in brackets is added to assist readers in the interpretation of the verse).

Quran 71:0 Verse 71:0
In the name of God, The Most Kind, The Most Merciful.

Quran 71:1 Verse 71:1 We (God) sent Prophet Noah Nuh to his people (saying), “Warn your people before a painful punishment (from God) comes to them.”

Quran 71:2 Verse 71:2 He (Prophet Noah Nuh) said, “My people, I am a clear warner (from God) to you.”

Quran 71:3 Verse 71:3 (Saying), "Pray to God, fear Him (God) and heed me (Prophet Noah Nuh).”

Quran 71:4 Verse 71:4 “He (God) shall forgive you (people) of your sins (that you have committed up to this day) and delay (the judgement of) you for a (predetermined) period of time (instead of punishing you now for the sins that you have committed up to this day). The period of time (that is predetermined) by God when it (God’s judgement) comes cannot be delayed. If you only knew (this is true).”

Quran 71:5 Verse 71:5 He (Prophet Noah Nuh) said, “My Lord (God) I have called night and day to my people (to follow the way of God).”

Quran 71:6 Verse 71:6 “But my calling to them (to follow the way of God) only makes them run away (from doing what is righteous).”

Quran 71:7 Verse 71:7 “And whenever I (Prophet Noah Nuh) have called them (the people to come to God) so that You (God) may forgive them, they (the people) put their fingers in their ears (to close their hearing to the word of God) and they cover themselves (to wrap their heart against the word of God, to cover their heart against the word of God) with their garments (to close their heart to God) and continued (to be closed to God) and are arrogant with pride.”

Comment 1. Nothing is hidden from God.

Quran 11:5 Verse 11:5 They cover up their hearts (true feelings) so that they may hide from Him (God) but even when they cover themselves with their clothing, God knows what they hide and what they declare. He (God) knows what is in the hearts (of people).

Quran 71:8 Verse 71:8 “I (Prophet Noah Nuh) called them (the people) publically.”

Quran 71:9 Verse 71:9 “And I (Prophet Noah Nuh) announced to them (the way of God) and I (also) talked to them in private.”

Quran 71:10 Verse 71:10 “Saying (to them), Ask forgiveness from your Lord (God) because He (God) is the most forgiving.”

Quran 71:11 Verse 71:11 “(It is) He (God who) sends from the sky pouring rain.”

Quran 71:12 Verse 71:12 “(And it is God who) increases your wealth and children and gives to you gardens and rivers (containing provisions for you on the earth).”

Quran 71:13 Verse 71:13 “What is the matter with you (people) that you do not honour God?”

Quran 71:14 Verse 71:14 He (God) created you (humans) in stages.

Comment 1. Creation.

Quran 22:5 Verse 22:5 O people, if you doubt the (true of) Resurrection, then consider this We (God) have created you (the first human Prophet Adam) from dust, then (the generations who followed after Prophet Adam and Eve Hawa were created) from a sperm-drop (by placing the male discharge in the female egg to produce the off spring of Prophet Adam and Eve Hawa) from a clinging clot (coagulated blood), then from a lump of flesh, some formed (and ready for birth) and some unformed (who are born dead by miscarriage) so that We (God) may make it clear to you (that God determines what is created). And We (God) establish in the womb whom We (God) will for a specified time, then We (God) bring you out (at birth) as a child and then (you grow so) that you reach your age of full strength (maturity). And among you are some who die (early in age) and some are returned to the most feeble time of life (at old age), so that after they had knowledge (in youth), they remember nothing (in old age so that the old person is like a new born baby with no knowledge). And (consider this) you see the earth barren (with nothing growing) but when We (God) send down water, it (the land) is stirred (to life) and increases (its bounty) with every lovely kind (of growth coming out of the land). – (Continued Quran 22:6).

Quran 23:12 Verse 23:12 And We (God) created man (Prophet Adam) from an extract of clay (water and earth).

Quran 23:13 Verse 23:13 And then placed him as a sperm-drop (mixed the male and the female discharge to produce the off spring of Prophet Adam and Eve Hawa) in a safe lodging (the womb);

Quran 23:14 Verse 23:14 And then We (God) made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot (coagulated blood), then We (God) made the clot into a lump of flesh, then We (God) made from the lump of flesh, bones, then We (God) clothed the bones with flesh, then We (God) grow it to become another creation. Blessed is God who is the best of creators.

Quran 71:14 Verse 71:14 “(What is the matter with you people that you do not honour God who is the one) that created you in stages?”

Note 1. Creation in stages is called evolution.

Creation over time is called evolution when one biological form is changed into another biological form.

Quran 71:15 Verse 71:15 Do you not see how God has created the seven heavens in layers (one above the other with no cracks or faults or disruptions between them that the eye can see).

Comment 1. Creation is the same story in the Quran and Taurat.

Creation of the Heaven and the Earth in two days.

Creation of the Earth in four days.

Creation of the Earth in six days.

Quran 71:17 Verse 71:17 And God has caused you to grow like a growth from the earth (just like plants also grow from the earth, meaning that humans were created by God from the materials on the earth through God’s predetermined process of evolution).

Comment 1. How do we know evolution is true?
God can change water and clay into a human.
God can bring the dead back to life.
God can change dust into a human.
The changing of creatures from one form to another form is called evolution.

There was no life when the Earth was created.

The first life on Earth was microscopic life.

When God created life it was created complete in the sight of God.

The life that God created complete in the sight of God is not complete in the sight of the creation but evolves into different forms over hundreds of millions of years as is seen in the fossil record of life.
Time is a creation so time does not exist for God.

Humans are created in time.

What is created instantly in the sight of God is seen as evolving over a period of time in the sight of humans.

All life on earth evolved from one common ancestor because all life contains the same basic structure.

Looking with the eye the human can see in the fossil record of life how simple life forms evolved into more complex life forms over hundreds of millions of years before humans existed.

1a. Humans and apes and chimpanzees and gorillas.

Quran 76:1 Verse 76:1 Was there (not) a period of time when humans were never mentioned (meaning, Was there not a period of time when humans did not exist)?

Quran 76:1 and Quran 71:17 reveal and the fossil record of life confirm to our human eyes that God made humans to evolve on the earth from the life that evolved on the earth before humans existed.

Humans and apes and chimpanzees and gorillas evolved from one common ancestor who existed far back in time because humans and apes and gorillas contain the same basic structure.

Humans and chimpanzees evolved from one closer common ancestor because human and chimpanzee DNA are closer in relationship compared to the DNA of humans and apes and gorillas.

1b. The animal that has the closest DNA relationship to humans is the chimpanzee (chimp).

Chimps and humans share 99 percent of their DNA.
The difference between humans and chimps is only in 1 percent of their DNA.

See Ancient Human-Chimp Link Pushed Back Millions of Years

http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2014/06/140612-chimp-father-evolution-human-science

1c. What is the difference between humans and apes?

The ape does not have the same ability to make sounds in the vocal cords of their throat to allow them to speak like humans can speak.

An ape can be taught sign language that allows a human and an ape to communicate with each other.

How many humans who do not know your language do you talk to each day?

Most humans only talk with humans who know their same language.

Our lack of ability to understand every human language means that there are many humans with whom we cannot communicate.

In the Hebrew Bible Genesis 11:1 -11:9 God gave every human one language in the city of Babel but when they used their gift of language to make wrongdoing God made confusion by giving foreign languages to each person so that no one could understand anyone and so the people left that city and spread across the earth.

The gift to understand and speak complex human languages is a great gift from God to humans.

1d. God creates evolution over periods of time.

God created the heavens and the earth with a purpose.

God creates evolution.

God created creation in stages of time which humans call the process of evolution.

God created creation by shaping you and perfecting your shapes which humans also call the process of evolution.

God creates creation through a process of evolution.

In the sight of God this creation is instant but in the eyes of humans this process is over minutes, hours, years, millions of years and billions of years.

Quran 23:13 Verse 23:13 And then placed him as a sperm-drop (mixed the male and the female discharge to produce the off spring of Prophet Adam and Eve Hawa) in a safe lodging (the womb);

Quran 64:3 Verse 64:3 He (God) created the heavens and the earth with truth (for a true purpose) and He (God) shaped you and perfected your shapes and to Him (God) is the destination.

1e. God changes the shape of creatures.

The changing of creatures from one form to another form is called evolution.
Humans call the changing of biological forms evolution.
Evolution is the process of changing forms.

Quran 64:3 Verse 64:3 He (God) created the heavens and the earth with truth (for a true purpose) and He (God) shaped you and perfected your shapes and to Him (God) is the destination.

1g. Why did God forgive the Children of Israel for breaking their covenant with God?

God forgives humans.

Quran 5:71 Verse 5:71 They (the Children of Israel) thought there would be no punishment (for breaking the covenant with God by not heeding, listening, believing, and accepting God’s messengers such as Prophet Jesus Isa who called for righteousness and forbade evil) so they became blind and deaf (to their agreement with God) and afterward God turned (in mercy) and forgave them (the Children of Israel because a new generation does not carry the sin of past generations and because no person carries the sin that was committed by another person). Now many of them (the Children of Israel who are the Jews of Yathrib Arabia) are again blind and deaf (to their agreement with God by not heeding, listening, believing, and accepting God’s message through Prophet Muhammad to do what is good and reject what is bad). God sees what they do.

Note 1. God is the most merciful and the most forgiving.
Whenever the children of Israel repented God forgave them because God is the most merciful and the most forgiving.
Sins from evil deeds that were done by earlier generations is not passed on to the souls of a new generation of the children of Israel.
Sins from evil deeds that were done by earlier generations is not passed on to the souls of a new generation of humans.

1h. Why did God order Muslims to forgive the Children of Israel?
Humans who forgive humans follow in the way of God.
Quran 5:13 Verse 5:13 "... You shall not cease to discover treachery from them (dishonesty from their words) except for a few of them (who are honest in their word). Even though they (many among the Jews of Arabia) do that (treachery against you), (you should) pardon (forgive) their bad deeds and forgive them (like you would like God to pardon your bad deeds and forgive you in the hereafter). God loves those who do good (deeds to other people).
Note 1. God is the most merciful and the most forgiving.
God teaches humans to follow the example of God to be merciful and forgiving.
God teaches humans to follow the way of God to be merciful and forgiving.
God teaches humans to follow the path of God to be merciful and forgiving.
God teaches humans to follow the cause of God to be merciful and forgiving.

1i. Why are the children of Israel of today innocent of the sins of past generations of the children of Israel
Why are the Jews of today innocent of the sins of past Jewish generations?
Why are the Christians of today innocent of the sins of past Christian generations?
Why are the Muslims of today innocent of the sins of past Muslim generations?
Why are the people of today innocent of the sins of the people of past generations?

Quran 6:164 Verse 6:164 Say, “Shall I (Prophet Muhammad) seek someone other than God for (my) Lord, when He (God) is Lord of all things? Each soul earns no blame (for sin) except against itself and no bearer (of the blame of sin) shall bear the burden (of the blame of sin) of another (soul). Then (in the hereafter) to your Lord (God) you shall return and He (God) shall tell you about what you used to dispute (among each other regarding religion).

Note 1. Each soul earns the sins that are made by the person that possesses it.

A soul does not earn any sin that is made by another person (Quran 6:164).

Comment 2. Why does God put the stories of Rabbinic Jewish literature from rabbis in the Quran?

The stories of the rabbis that God has used in the Quran is a sign of God for those who are knowledgeable among the Jews.

Some of the stories of the rabbis God has corrected in the Quran so that those who are knowledgeable among the Jews will know it is God who has corrected their story

Some of the stories of the rabbis God has confirmed as correctly inspired so that those who are knowledgeable among the Jews will know it is God who has confirmed the correctness of their story.

Quran 26:197 Verse 26:197 Is it (the revelations from God in the Quran) not a sign for the knowledgeable among the Children of Israel (the Jews, the Hebrews) who know it (the revelations of God in the Torah Taurat)?

Quran 27:76 Verse 27:76 This Quran explains to the Children of Israel most of the (religious) matters in which they have had disagreements.

2a. Stories of talking animals in the Quran are in the style of Rabbinic Jewish literature.

Why did God put some of the stories of rabbis in the Quran?
In the Quran God confirmed the correctness of some of the Jewish stories written by the Rabbis such as whoever destroys a soul, it is considered by God as if he destroyed an entire world. And whoever saves a life, it is considered by God as if he saved an entire world..
In the Quran God corrected errors in religious understanding in some of the Jewish stories written by the Rabbis such as the story of Angel Harut and Angel Marut.
The stories of God from God and about God from humans teach people that everything imaginable and unimaginable come from God.
The story of King Solomon Sulaiman and the flying carpet and the eagles are a lesson in humility.

2b. The stories of humans and the stories of God.
The description of the Jewish Armilus (the Anti Messiah) or Muslim Dajjal Dijjal is a typical exaggerated description written by rabbis, descriptions are exaggerated to make sure this human story is not confused with the Torah Taurat stories of God.
Stories with exaggerated descriptions are stories written by rabbis to present a moral lesson about good defeating evil.
Instead of imagining the Devil as evil, evil is described in human form as the
Dajjal Dijjal who has an exaggerated description to show it comes from the stories of the rabbis and not from God in the Torah Taurat.

2e. What is the purpose of Rabbinic Jewish literature?

Rabbinic Jewish literature is written by rabbis to describe talking animals or in other exaggerated descriptions in fantastic stories that use the famous people in the Bible to give a lesson or answer a moral or religious question.

These stories are made very fantastic to show people that they are not from the Torah Taurat.

In the story of King Solomon Sulaiman and the ant and the story of King Solomon Sulaiman and the flying carpet the lesson is do not think that you are superior to other people.

A child who is too young to have patience listening to the Torah Taurat has patience for a fantastic story.

God has conferred a great honour on some of the rabbis who wrote Rabbinic Jewish literature by using their same style in the Quran.

This makes the Quran appealing to both the young and the old.

By using Rabbinic Jewish literature in the Quran God uses allegorical (abstract, emblematic, figurative, metaphorical, metaphoric, symbolic, not literal) terms.

The purpose of figurative language is to use a style of language to explain something.

The rabbis were not teaching us that King Solomon Sulaiman really had a flying carpet or that King Solomon Sulaiman really talked to an ant or that King Solomon Sulaiman really commanded the jinn.

The rabbi wrote that fantastic story to capture our attention so that we can learn some moral or religious lesson.

By using the style of Rabbinic Jewish literature in the Quran, God is teaching us that concepts such as Satan Shaitan are used as a way to help us understand good and evil.

Satan Shaitan can be used in allegorical (abstract, emblematic, figurative, metaphorical, metaphoric, symbolic, not literal) terms to help us understand good and evil.

Prophet Muhammad is reported to have said that each person has their own devil and that Prophet Muhammad made his devil to become a Muslim.

God has taught us about Satan Shaitan as a way in which humans can understand the difference between good and evil.

If you could do what Prophet Muhammad did by being inclined to only do what is good without a struggle to decide between whether to do what is good or what is evil then you could say that you have removed your evil desires and made your devil to become a Muslim.

Thinking of the devil in real terms which some today call superstition, or thinking of the devil in modern terms which some today call allegorical (abstract, emblematic, figurative, metaphorical, metaphoric, symbolic, not literal) both give us the same understanding to strive to do good and avoid to do evil.

God has included in the Quran both ways of looking at evil, the literal way where the devil as a real creature and the allegorical (abstract, emblematic, figurative, metaphorical, metaphoric, symbolic, not literal) way where the devil is a symbol for evil such as the symbol in Makkah at which people throw stones as a symbolic rejection of evil.

The importance of the devil is not whether he is a real or a figurative expression but whether we have learned God’s lesson to avoid evil and choose to do what is good.

A Muslim believes in the devil and God shows us that that such a belief can be in the form of a creature or inallegorical (abstract, emblematic, figurative, metaphorical, metaphoric, symbolic, not literal) terms whichever is easiest for you to understand.

God uses the devil as a way to teach us to do good and avoid evil.

Rabbinic Jewish literature in the Quran allows us to better understand the different ways God leads people to understand God’s lessons.

2f. In the early history of humans the world was understood in supernatural terms and explanations were in the supernatural terms which people understood.

The style of the supernatural stories in the human writings in Rabbinic Jewish literature and the more natural explanations in God’s Torah Taurat are both contained in God’s Quran.

It was God who first revealed the stories to the rabbis that then appeared in the Rabbinic Jewish literature and it is God who sent God’s sign to the children of Israel by making their style of Rabbinic Jewish literature appear in the Quran as a sign that the Quran belongs to them.

The Quran contains elements of the Torah Taurat, the Rabbinic Jewish literature and the Gospel Injil which were delivered to the stone idol worshippers, the Jews, the Christians and others in Arabia today Saudi Arabia.

This is how God revealed Him self through Prophet Muhammad who is the last prophet from God.

Comment 5. Time as understood by Humans.

Quran 10:5 Verse 10:5 It is He (God) who made the Sun shine gloriously (bright) and (from) the Moon (is) a light measured by phases (such as half Moon, full Moon) so that you might know the number of years and (use it) for navigation. God truly created all of this and He (God) explains these revelations for people who understand.

Note 1. The Moon can be seen 28 nights in 28 nights every month but cannot be seen for 2 nights when a particular month has 30 days, or cannot be seen for 1 night, when it has 29 days in the Islamic Lunar calendar.

Quran 17:12 Verse 17:12 And We (God) have made the night and the day (to be) two signs. We (God) make the dark to be the sign of the night (so that you may rest), and the sign of the day is when things are visible so that you may seek the bounty (the things that sustain your life) from your Lord (God), and so that you may know the number of the years and the time. We (God) have explained everything in clear detail.

5a. Time, the creator and the creation.

Time does not exist for God.

Time exists for the creation.

Time is part of the creation.

Time does not exist for God because God knows everything that has been and everything that shall be.

When it is revealed that one day for God is a certain number of years for humans it is an explanation to created humans by God the creator for whom time does not apply because God created time for the creation only.

To give the creation some understanding of time, time is revealed as one Day for God equaling different numbers of human years only because humans cannot imagine existence without time.

That is why humans cannot image what God looks like.

God gives some understanding to the creation that time in the sight of God is different to time in the sight of Angels and also different to time in the sight of humans.

Time as understood by God.

Time as understood by Humans.

Time as humans know it is based on the orbit of the earth around the Sun. One complete orbit of the earth around the Sun is one human year.

Quran 65:12 Verse 65:12 It is God who has created (above the Earth) seven heavens (one above the other, seven universes one above the other) and of the Earth (which is the human dwelling place in our universe, God created for each of the seven heavens or seven universes) the same (number of earths, meaning seven dwelling places in the seven heavens, meaning each of the seven heavens that are above the Earth has a dwelling place where angles and souls exist). The commands (of God that maintain the creation) descend through them (meaning through the seven heavens and their seven earths, through the seven heavens and their seven dwelling places, through the seven universes and their seven dwelling places, through the seven universes and their seven earths until they arrive on the Earth) so that you (humans) may know that God is able to do all things and that God knows all things.

Note 1. The commands of God that maintain the creation descend through them the heavens and the earth.

Do not abandon Wadd (the idol of god carved in the form of a man), Suwa (the idol of god carved in the form of a woman), Yaghuth (the idol of god carved in the form of a lion), Yauq (the idol of god carved in the form of a horse) and Nasr (the idol of god carved in the form of an eagle).”

Comment 1. How would someone who knows the past, present and future look like?

Humans have no idea of what the creator looks like.

Nothing inside the creation shows how the creator looks like.

God knows the past, present and future so nothing in the creation resembles God in any way.
