Peace in Islam 2014 1435 AH.

Differences in Sunni and Shia are differences in tradition, not differences in religion.

Sunni and Shia are both Muslims in the religion of Islam.

Wisdom is contained in both the Sunni and Shia and other traditions of Islam.

Traditions may be different but the religion of all Muslims is the same one religion called Islam.

This is the teaching in education that is needed to bring understanding and peace in Islam today insha'Allah (God willing).

A small amount of education and understanding can bring peace between Sunni Muslims and Shia Muslims.

How does understanding bring peace?

Understanding means listening.

Video 1. Listen to a Shia Muslim explain why some misguided Muslims explode bombs in Shia mosques and can a Muslim be buried in a mosque?

Peace can come by the understanding that Muslims can teach by writing on the Internet to those misguided Muslims who are promoting the killing of Shia Muslims.

Therefore I feel it is important for everyone to watch.

Respect, respect, respect is the magic word (respect is the lesson to learn from this video).

Subject: How to peacefully and quickly remove the Russian military from Ukraine territory without loss of life.
To: Every government in the world.
Proposed action: The EU and USA and each country in the world should consider a tax on all their imports and exports to Russia.

No action should be taken that will lose human life.
All actions that are adopted should protect every human life.

Torah Leviticus 19:18 (And God spoke to Prophet Moses saying) you shall not take vengeance (revenge, retaliation, punishment), nor bear any grudge (complaint, resentment) against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbour as (you would love) yourself: I am the LORD (God, and this I have commanded).

Peace in Christianity.

                                             Peace in the Gospel.

                                             Peace in the Injil.

Gospel of Mark 12:29 (A Jewish scribe asked what is the first commandment of God?) and Prophet Jesus (Isa) answered him, The first of all the commandments (of God) is, Hear (listen), O (all the children of) Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord (God).

Gospel of Mark 12:30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment (of God).

Gospel of Mark 12:31 (Prophet Jesus continued speaking and he said) and the second (commandment of God) is this, You shall love your neighbour as (you would love) yourself. There are no other commandments (from God that are) greater than these (two commandments in the Gospel of Mark 12:29 – 12:31).

Peace in Islam.

                                Peace in the Quran.

                                Peace in the Koran.

Quran 2:2 Verse 2:2 “…. Our (Muslim) God and your (Jewish and Christian) God is (the same) one (God) and to Him (God, the creator of every creation) we have submitted (ourselves as believers in Him the one and only God).”

Quran 3:64 Verse 3:64 Say (Prophet Muhammad to the), “People of the Scripture (Jews and Christians, let us) come to an agreement between you and us (Muslims), that we shall worship no one but God, and that we shall associate no partner to Him (meaning that there is one God only, we pray only to our creator the one God and we do not pray to anything that God created such as the Sun, the Moon, the stars, humans who are alive or dead saints or God’s angel messengers or God’s human messengers because only God who is the creator of everything has the power to hear human prayer), and that none of us shall take others for Lords instead of God.” And if they turn away, then say, “bear witness that we (are the ones who truly believe in God and we) have submitted (to the will of God).”

Quran 43:88 Verse 43:88 And he (Prophet Muhammad) said, “My Lord (God), These (stone idol worshippers of Mecca, Arabia) are a people who do not believe (in God).”

Quran 43:89 Verse 43:89 (God replies), then bear (in patience) with them (the stone idol worshippers of Mecca, Arabia) and say, “Peace” (to them when you meet them) because they shall come to know (of the existence of God either in this life and believe or in the Hereafter and believe).

Quran 60:7 Verse 60:7 It may be that God shall decree friendship (affection, love) between you and those who you (now) see as an enemy (through a peace treaty or with people from the enemy coming to God or with people from the enemy not opposing God). God is mighty, forgiving and merciful.

Quran 64:14 Verse 64:14 All you who believe, “…. If you pardon (what people have done) and overlook (the faults of people), and forgive (people) then God is forgiving and merciful (to you).

                                               Peacemaking in the Quran

                                               Peacemakers in the Koran.

                                               Peacemaking in the Koran.

Quran 2:224 Verse 2:224 Do not swear against doing a good deed or against acting righteously or against making peace among humans by using the name of God (in such wicked oaths), God is all hearing and all knowing.

Quran 5:45 Verse 5:45 (And in the Torah) We (God) gave all the laws, the life for the life, the eye for the eye, the nose for the nose, the ear for the ear, the tooth for the tooth, these are the laws of retaliation for giving wounds that are equal to what were unjustly inflicted. Whoever forgoes it (meaning whoever gives the mercy of not retaliating) shall be rewarded by (God) cancelling some of the sins of the person (that had the right to retaliate but did not retaliate but instead they followed in the way of God’s recommended mercy). Whoever does not judge by what God has revealed are wrong doers.

Quran 25:63 Verse 25:63 The (faithful) servants of (God) the Most Merciful are those who walk on the earth modestly and when the ignorant ones (the stone idol worshippers in Mecca, Arabia) speak to them (with bad words, harsh words), they reply (with a gentle word) “peace” (and with words that are without evil or fault).

Quran 45:14 Verse 45:14 Say (Prophet Muhammad) to those who believe (in God that) they (should) forgive those who do not expect the Days of God (in the hereafter, meaning forgive the disbelievers, forgive the non believers, forgive the stone idol worshippers in Mecca, forgive the people who do not believe in God) so that He (God) may reward (the righteous) people for what they earn (in reward for the hereafter by obeying God’s command that the people who believe in God should forgive the people who do not believe in God so that you forgive the disbelievers in your life in the same way that you wish God to forgive you in the next life in the hereafter).

(Note 1, Forgive disbelieves in this world just as you would like God to forgive you in the next world (the hereafter).

(Note 2. Verses that God revealed in the Quran during a time of war with stone idol worshippers in Mecca, Arabia today Saudi Arabia do not cancel the revelations God revealed earlier in the Quran just as the verses that God revealed in the Torah during a time of war with stone idol worshippers in Canaan today Israel and Palestine do not cancel the revelations God revealed earlier in the Torah.

All of God’s verses carry a message of wisdom for humankind.

Some verses give guidance in times of war and other verses give guidance in times of peace.

The correct interpretation of each verse in the Books of God gives knowledge and wisdom and guidance to whoever God wills.

Quran 49:10 Verse 49:10 The believers are brothers. Therefore make peace between your brothers and fear God so that you may obtain mercy (on the Day of Judgement).

(Note 1, Forgive believers in this world just as you would like God to forgive you in the next world (the hereafter).

3. Giving your life to save life in Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

Giving your life to save life in Judaism.

Giving your life to save life in the Hebrew Bible.

Giving your life to save life in the Jewish Bible.

Giving your life to save life in the Torah.

Giving your life to save life in the Taurat.

Exodus 20:12 You must not murder (kill).

Leviticus 19:16 ... Don't stand idly by when you can save a life: I am the LORD (God).

Jewish Hebrew Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:5, Babylonian Talmud Tractate Sanhedrin 37a Whoever destroys a soul, it is considered (by God) as if he destroyed an entire world. And whoever saves a life, it is considered (by God) as if he saved an entire world.

(Note 1, In the sight of God the saving of one human life is a great deed because in the sight of God it is like saving every human life on the earth.

Genesis 18:24 If there are fifty innocent people in the city, will you destroy the whole city? Won't you spare it in order to save the fifty?

Genesis 18:25 Surely you won't kill the innocent with the guilty. That's impossible! You can't do that. If you did, the innocent would be punished along with the guilty. That is impossible. The judge of all the earth has to act justly.”

Genesis 18:26 The Lord answered, “If I find fifty innocent people in Sodom, I will spare the whole city for their sake.”

Genesis 18:27 Abraham spoke again: “Please forgive my boldness in continuing to speak to you, Lord. I am only a man and have no right to say anything.

Genesis 18:28 But perhaps there will be only forty-five innocent people instead of fifty. Will you destroy the whole city because there are five too few?”

The Lord answered, “I will not destroy the city if I find forty-five innocent people.”

Genesis 18:29 Abraham spoke again: “Perhaps there will be only forty.”

He replied, “I will not destroy it if there are forty.”

Genesis 18:30 Abraham said, “Please don't be angry, Lord, but I must speak again. What if there are only thirty?”

He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty.”

Genesis 18:31 Abraham said, “Please forgive my boldness in continuing to speak to you, Lord. Suppose that only twenty are found?”

He said, “I will not destroy the city if I find twenty.”

Genesis 18:32 Abraham said, “Please don't be angry, Lord, and I will speak only once more. What if only ten are found?”

He said, “I will not destroy it (the city) if there are ten (innocent people).”

Genesis 18:33 After he had finished speaking with Abraham, the Lord went away, and Abraham returned home.

(Note 1. In the Torah (Taurat) human actions that will result in the sudden killing of innocent people together with wrongdoers is not acceptable in the eyes of God.

Giving your life to save life in Christianity.

Giving your life to save life in the Christian Bible.

Giving your life to save life in the Gospel.

Giving your life to save life in the Injil.

Gospel of Mark 10:43 (Jesus says to his people. Leaders of the people think they are great but this is) not so among you (the people who follow Jesus). Instead, whoever wants to be great among you (the people) must be (a person who is) your servant (serving all the people),

(Note 1, The greatest person among humans is the person who puts them self and their interests last by being a servant that helps all people.

Gospel of Mark 10:44 and whoever wants to be first (with the best behaviour) among you (humans) shall be slave (a servant) of all (people).

(Note 2, The best human behaviour is the giving of your life to serve all humans.

Gospel of Matthew 19:17 ... But if you want to enter eternal life, keep the commandments."

Gospel of Matthew 19:18 He says to him (Jesus), "Which ones?" And Jesus said to him, "Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony,

Gospel of Matthew 26:52 Jesus then says to him, "Return your sword to its place. For all who take up the sword will perish by the sword.

Catechism of the Catholic Church 2258 "Human life is sacred because from its beginning it involves the creative action of God and it remains for ever in a special relationship with the Creator, who is its sole end. God alone is the Lord of life from its beginning until its end: no one can under any circumstance claim for himself the right directly to destroy an innocent human being."

Catechism of the Catholic Church 2261 Scripture specifies the prohibition contained in the fifth commandment (you shall not kill): "Do not slay the innocent and the righteous." The deliberate murder of an innocent person is gravely contrary to the dignity of the human being, to the golden rule, and to the holiness of the Creator. The law forbidding it is universally valid: it obliges each and everyone, always and everywhere.

Catechism of the Catholic Church 2268 The fifth commandment (you shall not kill) forbids direct and intentional killing as gravely sinful. The murderer and those who cooperate voluntarily in murder commit a sin that cries out to heaven for vengeance.

Giving your life to save life in Islam.

Giving your life to save life in the Quran.

Giving your life to save life in the Koran.

Quran 4:29 Verse 4:29 All you who believe, do not unjustly take the wealth of each other, but trade by mutual consent; and do not destroy yourselves (do not kill yourself, do not commit suicide, do not kill each other). God is Merciful to you.

Quran 5:32 Verse 5:32 For this reason We (God) ordered the children of Israel that whoever kills a person it is as if that person killed all of humankind unless it is in retaliation for murder or for misbehaviour in the land. And whoever saves a life it is as if that person has saved all of humankind. Our (God’s) messengers came to them (the children of Israel) with clear arguments but still after that many of them continued to commit great crimes in the land.

(Note 1. God’s order in Quran 5:32 to the children of Israel is based on the first murder on the earth which occurred long before the children of Israel existed. This law of God applies to all humans in all times because God regards one human life as equal to every human life that God has created and it is for God to judge on the Day of Judgement what each person did in the life that God gives to each person.

Quran 6:151 Verse 6:151 Say, “Come, I shall recite to you what your Lord (God) has made a sacred duty for you: ... And that you do not kill a person because God has forbidden killing except in the matter of (legal) justice. He (God) has commanded this for you so that you may understand (the law of God).

Quran 48:25 Verse 48:25 They (the stone idol worshippers of Mecca Makkah Arabia today Saudi Arabia) are the ones who disbelieved (in God) and turned you (Prophet Muhammad) away from the Sacred Mosque (Al-Masjid-al-Haram in Mecca Makkah) and your offerings (of 70 camels to God for the feeding of the poor which) were prevented from reaching their place of sacrifice. (You would have been allowed to enter Mecca Makkah and fight for the sake of God to worship God at God’s Sacred Mosque in Mecca Makkah) if it were not that there were believing men and women who you did not know that you may have trampled (with your offerings of 70 camels that would have killed both the believers who you did not know and the non believers because of a stampede by those animals caused by fighting that God knew would occur) and so unknowingly you would have an evil deed against you, (however God stopped you from entering Mecca Makkah) so that God might bring to His (God’s) mercy whom He (God) willed (by preventing you from making sin through your actions which would have killed innocent people). If they (the believers who you did not know and the wrongdoers who had sinned against God) had been apart (so that only the wrongdoers who had sinned against God were present) then We (God) would have punished those of them who disbelieved with a painful punishment (by allowing you into Mecca Makkah and allowing the animal stampede to occur to punish the stone idol worshippers who forbid your worship of God at the Sacred Mosque Al-Masjid-al-Haram in Mecca Makkah).

(Note 1. In the Koran (Quran) human actions that will result in the sudden killing of innocent people together with wrongdoers is not acceptable in the eyes of God.

No one knows the exact reality of the existence of God.
No one knows the exact reality of the nature of God.
The human heart and brain have reasoned that creation is created by a power that has always existed and will always exist.

Quran 3:6 Verse 3:6 It is He (God) who shapes you in the womb as He (God) wills. There is no God but He (Adonai, Allaah, Allah, Elohim, God, G-d, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH), the all-mighty, the all-wise.

Why did God (Adonai, Allaah, Allah, Elohim, G-d, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH) create human life?

Quran 67:2 Verse 67:2 (It is God, Adonai, Allaah, Allah, Elohim, G-d, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH) who has created life and death to test which of you (humans) is best in behaviour. He (God, Adonai, Allaah, Allah, Elohim, G-d, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH) is mighty and forgiving.

(Comment 1. God (Adonai, Allaah, Allah, Elohim, G-d, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH) created humans for a purpose.
(Comment 2. God (Adonai, Allaah, Allah, Elohim, G-d, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH) created human life for a purpose.
(Comment 3. The purpose of human life is to test which humans are best in their behaviour.
(Comment 4. Live your life by doing what is good and reject what is bad.

Discussion with a reader in the USA 30 March 2014 (1435 AH).

Christian belief in Michigan, USA: There will never be peace between believers as long as Muslims believe that calling Jesus Christ the Son of the living God is an offense punishable by death.

Muslim belief: Thank you Christian belief in Michigan, USA for your comment.
In the Torah and the Gospel and the Quran the son of God means the servant of God or the slave of God.
1400 years ago the Quran corrected some Christians who misunderstood the words son of God to mean a real biological son of God.
1400 years ago some Christians did not know that in the Torah God called the children of Israel the son of God meaning the servants of God or the slaves of God.
This led some Christians to believe that Jesus was a real biological son of God instead of a servant of God or a slave of God.
The Quran does not say that this misunderstanding is punishable by death.

To those among the Christians who mistakenly prayed to Jesus or his mother Mary or to hundreds of dead human saints the Quran does say that in the Hereafter Jesus will deny that Jesus claimed to be God.
Jesus might say in the Hereafter (only God real knows) did you not read the four Gospels and did I not pray to God? So why did you not do what I did? When did I tell you to pray to me instead of God?
In other words the Quran says that Jesus and Mary and dead human saints have no power to hear prayer because this power belongs to God who is the creator of every creation including the creator of Jesus and Mary and every dead saint.

In Islam and Christianity and Judaism there is no punishment for a person’s belief except by God on the Day of Judgement.
God gives every person life to freely decide their belief so no human has the authority to take a life because they disagree with someone’s belief.
Only God has the right and authority to judge the belief of a human because God gives life and God takes life.
It is not for any human to take another life. Are they a prophet who has received an order from God? No they are not. Are they God? No they are not.
Where in the Quran does God give such an order? There is no such commandment from God.
Therefore according to the Torah and Gospel and Quran it is God only who is the judge of each human’s belief on the Day of Judgement.

Some Muslims who misinterpret the Quran and do evil can be compared with some Christians in earlier times who misinterpreted the Gospel and burned to death innocent women as witches or who put Galileo under life time house arrest for his belief that the Earth orbited around the Sun.

Peace between believers depends on good understanding and good education.

You can see the Muslim belief regarding the son of God meaning the servant of God or the slave of God here in the Gospel of John https://sites.google.com/site/islamandthequran/the-gospel-of-john-chapters-1-3

Believers and non believers are brothers and sisters in humanity.

Why are humans interested in religion?
Why are humans interested in science?
Why are humans interested in religion and science?
Humans are interested in religion and science because the human brain is asking the human heart, “Where did we come from?”

What do believers (Muslims, Christians and Jews) and non believers (Atheists) and those who do not know (Agnostics) believe today?

1. Scientifically belief is in the Brain.
Knowledge of the evolution of the Brain through the study of Extinct Life, Microscopic Life and all life including Human Life show that the Origin of Religion and Beliefs and Miracles is the Brain which has touched the Heart in every human culture throughout human history,

Quran 21:30 Verse 21:30 Do those who disbelieve not know that the heavens and the earth were one entity, then We (God) separated them, and We (God) made every living thing from water? Shall they then not believe (in God their creator)?

3. Scientifically humans believe that life existed before humans existed.

Quran 46:33 Verse 46:33 Do they (the stone idol worshippers of Mecca, Makkah in Arabia today in Saudi Arabia) not realise that God who created the heavens and the earth without getting tired, is able to bring the dead to life? Yes indeed (God can). He (God) is able to do all things..

Quran 81:1 Verse 81:1 When the Sun is rolled up (and comes to an end).

Quran 81:2 Verse 81:2 And when the stars darken (and come to an end).

Quran 81:6 Verse 81:6 And when the seas are made to boil (and evaporate and have come to an end).

Quran 81:11 Verse 81:11 And when the sky (of the world) is torn away (and has come to an end then in the hereafter no one shall be able to hide the deeds that they had done).

6. Muslims invite nonbelievers to Moses and Jesus and Muhammad.
Muslims invite disbelievers to Moses and Jesus and Muhammad.
Muslims invite unbelievers to Moses and Jesus and Muhammad.
Muslims invite doubters to Moses and Jesus and Muhammad.
Muslims invite skeptics to Moses and Jesus and Muhammad.
Muslims invite sceptics to Moses and Jesus and Muhammad.
Islam invites nonbelievers to Moses and Jesus and Muhammad.
Islam invites disbelievers to Moses and Jesus and Muhammad.
Islam invites unbelievers to Moses and Jesus and Muhammad.
Islam invites doubters to Moses and Jesus and Muhammad.
Islam invites skeptics to Moses and Jesus and Muhammad.
Islam invites sceptics to Moses and Jesus and Muhammad.

7. How can religion help Atheists and Agnostics?
Moses and Jesus and Muhammad represent thousands of years of human experience written in the Torah, Gospel and Quran.
If you cannot make a decision about something in your life then you can ask yourself what would Moses and Jesus and Muhammad who represent thousands of years of human experience do if they were in your situation on the Earth today?
This is a way to keep yourself honest whenever temptation comes to your mind even if you are not a believer in religion.

8. The key for a non believer to understand Islam is friendship with a Muslim Insha’Allah (God willing, Allah willing).
The first Muslims 1400 years ago came from people who were non believers and today Islam also welcomes non believers.
Believers and non believers are not enemies.
Muslims welcome non believers.
Islam welcomes non believers.

9. Humans have freedom of belief.

God (Adonai, Allaah, Allah, Elohim, G-d, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH) has decreed freedom of belief.

Quran 2:256 Verse 2:256 There is no compulsion in religion (meaning – it is not compulsory to accept religion). The right path (in belief) has become clear from the wrong (path in belief). Whoever disbelieves in Taghut (the stone idol gods in Mecca, Arabia today in Saudi Arabia) and believes in God is holding a trustworthy hand which shall never break (meaning – God shall never leave you) and God hears all and knows all things.
(Comment 1. God (Adonai, Allaah, Allah, Elohim, G-d, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH) has decreed that humans must not force religious belief because every human has freedom to choose their belief).

Quran 4:88 Verse 4:88 Then what is (the matter) with you (that you are divided into) two groups concerning (what to do about) the hypocrites (that said they believe in God but retreated from the battle of Uhud)? God has made them return (to their disbelief in God) because of what they have earned (meaning the sins they have earned). Do you wish to guide those whom God has made to go astray? He whom God has made to go astray you shall never find for him any way (of guidance if God has willed that they be misguided).
(Comment 1. God reveals that when God decrees that a human accept Islam and then reject Islam then there is no human who can change what God has decreed.

Quran 10:99 Verse 10:99 And if Your Lord (God) willed then all who are on the earth would have believed together. (God asks), “Would you (Prophet Muhammad) force people (to believe in God against their will) before they are believers? (The answer is No, Islam does not force belief in God).”
(Comment 1. Islam does not force belief in God.
(Comment 2. God did not will for all humans to believe in God because God could have created all humans to believe in God if God willed.
(Comment 3. God is saying if God has not willed all humans to believe in God would humans force humans to do something that God has not willed?

Quran 10:100 Verse 10:100 It is not for any soul to believe (in God) except by the permission of God and He (God) shall bring punishment (on the Day of Judgement) to those who do not reason (and think when they see or hear or feel the signs of God).
(Comment 1. Islam does not force belief in God because belief in God is a matter between God and each human.

Quran 16:37 Verse 16:37 Even if you (Prophet Muhammad) strive for their guidance, still God shall not guide the person whom He (God) makes to go astray. And they (who are misguided) shall have no helpers (in the Hereafter to save them from God’s punishment).
(Comment 1. No one can guide the people that God sends astray because humans cannot change what God has decreed.

Quran 16:93 Verse 16:93 If God had willed He (God) could have made all of you one religion but He (God) sends astray whom He (God) will and guides whom He (God) will, and (in the Hereafter) you shall be questioned about what you used to do.
(Comment 1. God has not willed one religion. God has willed many religions.
(Comment 2. God has not willed one belief. God has willed many beliefs.

Quran 16:106 Verse 16:106 Whoever disbelieves in God after they had believed, on them is the wrath (anger) from God and for them is a great punishment (from God on the Day of Judgement) except for the person who is forced (to declare disbelief in God against their will because of the threat of death from the stone idol worshippers of Mecca, Arabia) but whose heart still has belief (in God).
(Comment 1. It is God who guides humans to belief and disbelief in God. God forbids humans to punish those who leave Islam.
(Comment 2. God forbids humans to punish those who leave Islam because only God (and a Prophet of God who is under the command of God) is allowed to make such punishment.
(Comment 3. The one who has the authority to punish the apostate is God only because belief in God is a matter for God and not for humans.

Quran 18:17, Verse 18:17 “.... The person whom God guides is rightly guided but the person whom He (God) sends astray for that person you shall find no guiding friend who is able to lead them (to the right path).
(Comment 1. It is God who guides humans to belief and disbelief in God.
(Comment 2. The one who has the authority to punish the apostate is God only because belief in God is a matter for God and not for humans.

Quran 18:29 Verse 18:29 And say, “The truth (of the Quran) is from your Lord (God)" so whoever wishes let them believe and whoever wishes let them disbelieve.
(Comment 1. God (Adonai, Allaah, Allah, Elohim, G-d, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH) decreed freedom of religion (freedom of belief).

Quran 73:19 Verse 73:19 This (Quran) is a Reminder (from God) so let whoever wishes, choose a (righteous) way to his Lord (God).
(Comment 1. God (Adonai, Allaah, Allah, Elohim, G-d, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH) decreed that humans have the freedom to accept or reject religion.

Quran 83:33 Verse 83:33 But they (the believers of God) were not sent as guardians over them (the disbelievers of God, because God has given freedom of belief and freedom of religion to every person).
(Comment 1. Every person is responsible for their own belief.

Quran 109:1 Verse 109:1 Say, “Disbelievers (in God).”
Quran 109:2 Verse 109:2 “I do not worship what you worship.”
Quran 109:3 Verse 109:3 “Nor do you worship what I worship.”
Quran 109:4 Verse 109:4 “And I shall not worship what you worship.”
Quran 109:5 Verse 109:5 “Nor shall you worship what I worship.”
Quran 109:6 Verse 109:6 “For you is your religion and for me is my religion.”
(Comment 1. God (Adonai, Allaah, Allah, Elohim, G-d, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH) commands that Muslims guarantee freedom of religion.
(Comment 2. God (Adonai, Allaah, Allah, Elohim, G-d, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH) commands that Muslims respect freedom of belief.
(Comment 3. God (Adonai, Allaah, Allah, Elohim, G-d, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH) commands that Islam guarantee freedom of religion.
(Comment 4. God (Adonai, Allaah, Allah, Elohim, G-d, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH) commands that Islam respect freedom of belief.

Faith and Science.

Discussion with a reader  in Croatia in 1435 AH (between 12 January 2014 to 6 March 2014):
No faith: Faith is stupid. It cannot be compared to Science.
Faith: Faith is not stupid. When you go to sleep you have faith and hope that you will wake up.
People that have faith are humans who have faith and hope that they are living a good life.
No faith: That is the explanation for the faith? Stupid comparison.
Faith: 1. No comparison is stupid.
2. It is not nice for one human to call another human or their ideas stupid.
3. The word stupid is used as a way of humiliating humans.
4. The word stupid is used as a way of stopping discussion.
5. No human should say that other humans or their ideas are stupid.
6. The word stupid is arrogance and arrogant.
7. The word stupid is used to make one human feel superior to other humans.
8. The biggest danger in religion and science comes when people use religion or science to prove that they and their ideas or beliefs are superior to all other humans.
9. The belief of every human must be respected as can be seen in this example.
Who is best in behaviour? The human who calls other humans or their ideas stupid or the human who respects all ideas and happily discusses all ideas without calling humans or their ideas stupid?
No faith: The best behaviour is the person who shows respect and is happy to discuss all ideas.

No faith: Religion is very primitive compared to science.
Faith: Primitive means that religion came first and science came later.

No faith: Faith is struggling against death.
Faith: Faith is not struggling against death. Faith accepts death.

No faith: You are only stuck to faith because someone has written that you have eternal life.
Faith: Humans have had faith in times before anyone revealed the idea of eternal life.
Humans have had faith with no knowledge of the idea of an eternal life.
Human faith does not depend on science or religion or belief in eternal life.
Human faith depends on the love of humans for each other and the desire of humans to make a better world which leads humans to marvel at the wonderful mystery of life
Faith and science are used for good when they are used to promote love between humans.
Faith and science are used for bad when they are used to promote hatred between humans.
Religion is what has been revealed from the evolving brain to the heart and is a treasure of human history.
Science is what has been revealed from the evolving brain to the heart and is also a treasure that belongs to all humankind.
Humans can recognise their differences in religion (in belief) as in Quran 109:6 “For you is your religion (belief) and for me is my religion (belief” then people of faith and the people of science and the people of both faith and science can all work together to make the world better).
No faith: A better world for all of us has a different perspective for different people because there are 7 billion people on the Earth.
Faith: The 7 billion people on the Earth have one perspective at the United Nations when every nation discusses and votes on many things that can make our world a better place.
No faith: You are quite naive in regard to this.
Faith: I am not naive. I have faith.
I have faith because of the good things that humans have done in the past.
I have faith because of the good things that humans are doing today.
I have faith in the good things that humans can do in the future.

No faith (one comment from a Dutch reader): All the things you name aren't "faith", they are observations from past experience. That's the fundamental difference between religion and science. I don't have 'faith' I will wake up tomorrow, I have concluded I have woken up thousands of times before, and have no convincing reason to think tonight is going to be my last.
I appreciate your effort, but the great thing is the power of science. Not the power of assuming things without any proof.
Faith: I love religion and science not because one is better than the other but because the study of both religion and science is the study of humankind in the past and in the present and with the knowledge I get from the study of both religion and science they give me faith in the future.
This faith is not based on proofs but based on wonder and amazement in the existence of life, people, plants, animals and the Universe.

No faith:
If you want peace and tranquility in the soul then believe.
If you want the truth then inquire

Faith: I agree that religion gives peace and tranquility through belief.

I agree that science gives answers through inquiry.

I love the peace and tranquility of religious study and I love the new discoveries of scientific inquiry.

My heart is happy when I seek to understand religious ideas.

My brain is happy when I seek to understand scientific ideas.

My heart and brain enjoy understanding religion and science.

No faith (one comment from John): Atheists do not " know" either. We (Atheists) claim not to be convinced that there is sufficient evidence to hold any belief in any supernatural being (such as God). No more (do we believe in God) than we know there is no Loch Ness Monster (a creature people say is real) or Unicorns (a creature people say is real).

Faith: Good morning John I respect the atheist belief not to be convinced in anything for which a person cannot find proof. I also respect the belief of every person when they use their belief for love and understanding and peace.

No faith: Religion and science are separate. They have completely different directions and nature. Religion claims that life has meaning when you are dying because you will have a second life. That is stupid because it is like saying that the mountains have meaning for existence.

Faith: Good morning Mislav. I agree that religion (faith) and science (investigation) are different in that religion is a way of life based on faith and science is a way of life based on investigation.

The person with faith uses faith to guide (or misguide) their daily life.

The person with faith also uses science to investigate (or make mistakes in their understanding of) the world.

Many people today use yoga without the theology of yoga.

I might suggest that atheists look again at religion and separate what they find good in religion from the theology that they cannot believe.

If people are not arrogant by thinking they are better than other humans then it is no problem if one person believes that a mountain and every creation thanks God for their existence and another person rejects such ideas or one person has faith they will wake up each day or not.

The important thing is for every human to respect every human with love and understanding and peace no matter if they are religious or atheist or agnostic.

When we die we will know (or not know) if our beliefs were true or false.

No faith: When we die we will know?

Faith: Good evening Mislav.

When I die I will know if my belief in God is true or false.

If my belief in God is false then when I die I will know nothing.

If my belief in God is true then when I die I will know this is true.

If I knew that God is a story and that this story is not true I still would not lose my faith.

If God is not true I would still have faith in my way of life where I respect all people and all religions and all science.

I want to learn from every person and every religion and every field of science.

I am interested in everything that humans have said in the past and in the present.

If God is not true I would still have faith in the stories of the humans of the past who used God to tell their stories.

My faith is based on humanity and the wonderful mystery of life.

My faith is based on a love for everything humans have strived to know in the past and in the present.

My faith has made me strive to avoid being arrogant.

My faith has taught me patience.

My faith makes me strive to be a good person.

My faith makes me optimistic for humankind.

My faith shows me the importance of striving for peace among humans.

My faith makes me strive to protect life and nature.

My faith is a never ending wonder at the mystery of life.

My faith has combined religion and science to understand humanity in the past and the present.

No faith (one comment from John): That is not "faith" that is rational expectation.

Faith: Good morning John.

My explanation is more than a rational expectation.

It is the emotion of a human.

It is the feeling of a human.

It is the belief of a human.

It is the desire of a human.

It is the faith of a human.

It is the hope of a human.

And yes it is also the rational explanation of a human.

No faith (one comment from Forever 21 March 2014): The video how the Earth was made has absolutely nothing to do with man-made superstitions and religions such as Islam so why have you made a comment on that video website thanking the people who made that video?
The Quran doesn't explain science no matter how often Muslims try to hijack science, in order to give credibility to a man-made book that claims to be the word of a god.
When did religions that you refer to have anything to do with world peace and or understanding?
I'm curious what drew you to this video “how the Earth was made”, because everything about that video implies your holy book is a load of superstitious rubbish.
Just look at how the Quran describes how the cosmos came into being in a simplistic 7th century explanation to satisfy 7th century desert dwellers who had a minimal of knowledge and understanding.
I suggest you peddle your religion on Muslim websites and leave the science video websites to the more educated.
Faith: Hello Forever,
Good morning and thank you for your comments and mention of the Video of Earth, Making of a Planet http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_3PFfMdZ9c
The Quran is not a science book.
The Koran (Quran) is exactly the same as the Torah (Taurat) and the Gospel (Injil) because God said nothing to Prophet Muhammad except what God said to the messengers before him such as Moses (Musa) and Jesus (Isa).
Moses and Jesus and Muhammad are not scientists but they revealed what is in the human heart.
World peace and understanding is in the human heart not in books however science books and religious books can be used to study and to promote world peace and understanding. This is easier to understand if you are humble compared to arrogant.
Religion promotes the humble and patient way of life above the arrogant way of life which is described as the human heart or human personality.
Science promotes the search for evidence which is described as understanding in the human brain or human reasoning.
A human life is the development of both your heart (compassion and mercy) and your brain (understanding by evidence).
The Quran is not a science book so it is interpreted differently by each generation.
For example instead of translating a verse as “the Moon is swimming” today we translate such verses to say that “the Moon is orbiting.”
Every generation is happy with its understanding of the Quran and the Gospel and the Torah.
1400 years ago the people of the Quran were happy with the idea that the Moon is swimming in a blue sky that had the colour of blue water.
Today the people of the Quran are happy with the idea that the Moon is orbiting in space,
The only thing that has changed in 1400 years is human understanding based on science.
Religion accepts science and so the Quran like the Torah and the Gospel are understood differently today.
Those that reject science are those who believe that the earth is 6000 years old.
You can see why it is so important that science be included and promoted in religious study.
Religion gives faith in things of the heart (feelings, emotion, beliefs) that we cannot know.
Science gives understanding in those things about which we can know based on evidence.
The study of faith (those things we do not know) and the study of science (those things we know) allow the student of the Quran and Gospel and Torah to keep their eye on both their heart (faith and religious knowledge) and their brain (facts and scientific knowledge).
Today in the twenty first century all knowledge including faith based knowledge and scientific based knowledge can be used to promote understanding of people and world peace.

How can scientific knowledge and religious knowledge be combined?
How can scientific knowledge help religious knowledge?
Is the Earth 6000 years old or 4.5 billion years old?
Sometimes there are different interpretations for a verse. Which is the correct interpretation?
Sometimes science can show which interpretation of a verse is correct or incorrect.
Sometimes science can show which understanding of a verse is correct or incorrect.
Question: If we know that the Earth is more than 6000 years old then how can scientific knowledge and religious knowledge be combined?
Answer: Search the Torah (Taurat), Gospel (Injil) and Koran (Quran) to find the correct interpretation of a verse.
Jewish Hebrew Bible Psalms 90:4
A thousand years mean nothing to You (God), they are only a day gone by or a few hours in the night.
Quran 32:5 Verse 32:5 All matters from heaven to earth are determined by God. All things will ascend (return) to Him (God) in the end (on the day of Resurrection and Judgement). A day (for God) is (like) one thousand years by your (human) measurement (meaning that in the existence of God a thousand years for humans are like one day for God or a thousand years for humans is like a few hours in a human night for God or a thousand years for humans is like a few minutes in a human day for God or a thousand years for humans is like one human second for God or a thousand years for humans is like a millionth of a human second for God or a thousand years for humans is like a billionth of a human second for God because time does not apply to God. God created time. Time only applies to the creation. God is not a creation. God is the creator. Time does not apply to God because God knows the past and present and future. Time only applies to creations that are born and die. Time does not apply to the creator who was never born and will never die).
(Note 1. Time does not apply to God so one day for God is like 1000 years for humans, like 1 million years for humans, like 1 billion years for humans because God knows the past and present and future. Time is a creation. God is not a creation. God is the creator therefore time does not apply to God.

The process of God’s creation is called evolution.

From gas the stars and planets were created.

Quran 41:11 Verse 41:11 Moreover (God created heaven and earth at the same time in this way) He (God) directed Himself (God) towards the heaven when it was smoke (gas), and said to it (the heaven) and to the earth, "Be (created the heaven and the earth) willingly or unwillingly." They (the heaven and the earth) both said, "We (the heaven and the earth) come (into existence out of the smoke, gas), willingly."

(Note 1. From the stars everything was created.

Quran 67:5 Verse 67:5 And we have decorated the sky with lights (stars) and made from them (the stars) what is thrown (in the form of meteors) at the devils …”

The creation of what is in the visible Universe comes from the stars.

The creation of billions of stars (like our Sun) and the destruction (explosion of stars, supernova) of billions of stars over time provides the material (elements, every chemical) that is used to make everything in God’s creation).

What are meteorites?

Jinn and meteors are symbolic stories in the Quran for the teaching of good behaviour.

See Quran 37:8 comments.

http://sites.google.com/site/islamandthequran/quran-chapter-37-part-1-sacrifice-of-prophet-isaac-in-the-quran

(Note 2. God creates evolution over periods of time.

From Gas evolved the stars.

From the stars evolved all the material (elements, every chemical) that is used to make everything in God’s creation.

(Note 3. God created the heavens and the earth with a purpose.

Quran 64:3 Verse 64:3 He (God) created the heavens and the earth with truth (for a true purpose) and He (God) shaped you and perfected your shapes and to Him (God) is the destination.

(Note 4. God created humans and jinn for a purpose.

Quran 67:2 Verse 67:2 (It is God) who has created life and death to test which of you is best in behaviour. He (God) is mighty and forgiving.

(Note 5. God created creation by “shaping you and perfecting your shapes” which humans call the process of evolution.

Quran 64:3 Verse 64:3 He (God) created the heavens and the earth with truth (for a true purpose) and He (God) shaped you and perfected your shapes and to Him (God) is the destination.

(Note 6. God creates evolution because evolution has been preordained by the creator of the creation.

(Note 7. God’s creation is subtle so that it is continuous over time.

Quran 67:14 Verse 67:14 Would He (God) not know (all about) what He (God) created? He (God) is subtle and aware.

(Note 8. God creates evolution over periods of time and over time materials are changed from one form (a gas) to another form (solids and more complex gases).

From Gas evolved the stars.

From the stars evolved all the material (elements, every chemical) that is used to make everything in God’s creation.

Quran 41:11 Verse 41:11 Moreover (God created heaven and earth at the same time in this way) He (God) directed Himself (God) towards the heaven when it was smoke (gas), and said to it (the heaven) and to the earth, "Be (created the heaven and the earth) willingly or unwillingly." They (the heaven and the earth) both said, "We (the heaven and the earth) come (into existence out of the smoke, gas),willingly."

(Note 9. God creates creation through a process of evolution.

In the sight of God creation is instant but in the eyes of humans this process is over minutes, hours, years, millions of years and billions of years.

(Note 10. Time, the creator and the creation.

Time does not exist for God.

Time exists for the creation.

Time is part of the creation.

Time does not exist for God because God knows everything that has been and everything that shall be.

When it is revealed that one day for God is a certain number of years for humans it is an explanation to created humans by God the creator for whom time does not apply because God created time for the creation only.

To give the creation some understanding of time, time is revealed as one Day for God equaling different numbers of human years only because humans cannot imagine existence without time.

That is why humans cannot image what God looks like.

God gives some understanding to the creation that time in the sight of God is different to time in the sight of Angels and also different to time in the sight of humans.

(Note 11. Time as understood by God.

Time as understood by Angels.

Time as understood by Humans.

Quran 22:47 Verse 22:47 And they (the stone idol worshippers in Mecca, Arabia) ask you to hurry the punishment (from God). God does not fail His (God’s) promise. A Day with your Lord (God) is (like) a thousand years by your (human) measurement (meaning that in the existence of God a thousand years for humans are like one day for God or a thousand years for humans is like a few hours in a human night for God or a thousand years for humans is like a few minutes in a human day for God or a thousand years for humans is like one human second for God or a thousand years for humans is like a millionth of a human second for God or a thousand years for humans is like a billionth of a human second for God because time does not apply to God. God created time. Time only applies to the creation. God is not a creation. God is the creator. Time does not apply to God because God knows the past and present and future. Time only applies to creations that are born and die. Time does not apply to the creator who was never born and will never die).

(Note 12. One day for God is 1000 years for humans means that what God does instantly is unrolled over a long period of time in the sight of humans).

Quran 32:5 Verse 32:5 All matters from heaven to earth are determined by God. All things will ascend (return) to Him (God) in the end (on the day of Resurrection and Judgement). A day (for God) is (like) one thousand years by your (human) measurement (meaning that in the existence of God a thousand years for humans are like one day for God or a thousand years for humans is like a few hours in a human night for God or a thousand years for humans is like a few minutes in a human day for God or a thousand years for humans islike one human second for God or a thousand years for humans is like a millionth of a human second for God or a thousand years for humans is like a billionth of a human second for God because time does not apply to God. God created time. Time only applies to the creation. God is not a creation. God is the creator. Time does not apply to God because God knows the past and present and future. Time only applies to creations that are born and die. Time does not apply to the creator who was never born and will never die).

Quran 70:4 Verse 70:4 The angels and the Spirit (the human soul) ascend (go up) to Him (God) in a day (of Judgement) the measure of which (the Day of Judgement) is (like) fifty thousand years (for humans meaning that God shall instantly judge every creation on the Day of Judgement which is a task that would take humans fifty thousand years to complete if humans were the judge of the creation).

(Note 12. Time as humans know it is based on the orbit of the earth around the Sun. One complete orbit of the earth around the Sun is one year for humans.

(Note 13. Time as the angels and the soul know it is based on travel between the earth and the heavens.

(Note 14. The process of creation of gas into stars and planets for God is instant but for humans it appears to take a very long time (“God is subtle” in the sight of humans). The process of creation from microscopic creatures that are so small that they can only be seen by using a microscope through to the creation of plants, fish, insects and humans is instant in the sight of God but for humans it appears to take a very long time (“God is subtle” in the sight of humans). This ability to create by preordaining in a subtle way is possible because of the process of evolution.

(Note 15. Evolution makes God’s creation possible in a subtle way.

If evolution was not used in the creation then the creation would not be subtle because new creations (species) would instantaneously appear the like of which had never existed before.

Instead creation is through evolution which is the subtle way that God creates all things (such as new species of microscopic creatures, plants, fish, insects, animals and humans that are all related to each other).

Evolution allows things (stars, planets and life) to be created gradually (subtlety) so that every creation for God is instant but for humans it appears to evolve over a very long period of time.

(Note 16. The first life on earth was microscopic life between 2.7 billion to 3.5 billion years ago (at that time there were no humans and no animals).

Welcome to Islam and the Quran.

Sam Voron in Sydney, Australia.

May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah (Adonai, Allaah, Elohim, God, G-d, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH) be on you.

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
قد رحمة السلام عليكم ورحمة الله يكون معك

Every human can help promote world peace and understanding and I enjoy doing my part.

Allah (Adonai, Allaah, Elohim, God, G-d, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH) willing.

Insha'Allah.
 إن شاء الله

I am interested in Islam, Judaism, Christianity, The Koran, Quran, The Torah, Taurat, The Gospel, Injil, The Bible, Atheism, Agnosticism, World peace, The Origin of Life, Science, Astronomy, Cosmology, Meteorites, Paleontology, Palaeontology, Extinct life, Dinosaurs, Fossils, Early Plant Life, Early Animal Life, Early Microscopic Life, Archaeology, Archeology, Anthropology, Early human life, Geology, Manned Space Exploration, Remote Space Exploration, Planetary Space Exploration, Rockets, Space Satellites, Psychology, Conflict Resolution, Humanitarianism, International Disaster Relief, Emergency service, Education, Tourism, Research, Amateur Radio, CB radio, Radio broadcasting, Community Radio, Short Wave Radio, AM Radio, FM Radio.

I became interested in Islam and the Quran after visiting Somalia, Puntland and Somaliland ten times from 1993 to 2007 while helping to establish community radio stations on Short Wave Radio in Somalia and FM Radio in Somalia.

Thanks to Allah (Adonai, Allaah, Elohim, God, G-d, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH).
Alhamdulillah.
الحمد لله

I have concluded that:

1. If Jewish and Christian belief is true then what is in the Quran shows that Islam is also true.

I have concluded that if God (Allah) is real and if Prophet Moses (Musa) is real and if Prophet Jesus (Isa) is real then what is written in the Quran is proof that Prophet Muhammad is also real.

2. Today the world is one Jewish-Christian-Islamic tradition because Jews, Christians and Muslims all believe in the same God (Adonai, Allaah, Allah, Elohim, G-d, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH).
I have also concluded that if Judaism and Christianity and Islam are all real then the world is not one Jewish tradition or one Jewish-Christian tradition but today the world is one Jewish-Christian-Muslim tradition where the Jewish-Christian-Islamic tradition is based on a common belief that there is one creator of all the creation.

3. The Somalia Government can promote tourism by inviting foreign visitors to see Somalia and learn about Islam by welcoming foreigners to see the country and its people by visiting the many mosques in Somalia.

I have also concluded that Somalia, Puntland and Somaliland can develop employment for their people in Islamic tourism where Jewish and Christian and other students who are both believers and non believers can enjoy a nice holiday in the Horn of Africa and learn about Islam at the same time thereby showing that the best examples of correctly guided Muslims today are those who spread the word of God (Allah) in peace and friendship to all the peoples of the world.

The Arabic name for God is Allah (Allaah).

The name of God in Hebrew is YHWH.

The Hebrew name for God (YHWH) in English is Jehovah (Yahweh, G-d).

In Hebrew the name for God is Adonai (Elohim).

The birthday of Prophet Muhammad.

May peace be on him.

Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.

صلى الله عليه وسلم

1. Why do some Muslims not celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad?

Some Muslims believe that they should not celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad because it might promote idol worship in the same way that some Christians began to pray to Prophet Jesus (Isa) instead of praying to God (Allah).

God (Allah) is the creator of every human including the human called Prophet Jesus (Isa).

Humans idol worship when they pray to created humans instead of praying to God (Allah) who is the creator of every creation because only the creator has the power to hear prayer.

2. Why do some Muslims celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad?
A good innovation (modernisation) in Islam is an innovation that remembers that only God (Allah) has the power to hear prayer.
A bad innovation (modernisation) in Islam is an innovation that forgets that only God (Allah) has the power to hear prayer.
The birthday of Prophet Muhammad is seen as a good innovation (modernisation) in Islam when all thanks is given to God (Allah) for making revelation through Prophet Muhammad in the same way as a good innovation (modernisation) in Christianity is the birthday of Prophet Jesus (Isa) when all thanks is given to God (Allah) for making revelation through Prophet Jesus (Isa).

3. Sunni Muslims and Shia Muslims are brothers in the religion of Islam.

Muslims are free to decide if they wish to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad just as Christians are free to decide if they wish to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Jesus (Isa).

Sunni Muslims and Shia Muslims are brothers in the religion of Islam because they believe in God (Allah) and all the prophets.

Muslims of every sect have the freedom to celebrate or not to celebrate the innovation (modernisation) in Islam of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad.

Christians of every sect have the freedom to celebrate or not to celebrate the innovation (modernisation) in Christianity of the birthday of Prophet Jesus (Isa).

4. What is the good in remembering the birthday of a prophet of God (Allah)?
I am sure that if Prophet Muhammad was on the Earth today he would be the example of peace because his words would be recognised as lovely and beautiful words.
Not like the many words we hear today which are the words of angry human killers.
If Prophet Muhammad was on the Earth today Prophet Muhammad would attract the world to love Islam.
Angry human killers today make the world hate Islam.
If Prophet Muhammad was on the Earth today I can imagine Prophet Muhammad at the United Nations helping every people of every nation both believers and non believers because in this way Prophet Muhammad made friendship and love that attracted the first people to Islam 1400 years ago.
On the birthday of Prophet Muhammad I thank God (Allah) for sending guidance to the world through all the prophets.
I ask God (Allah) to help us follow the correct path and to do everything that is good with our life on this wonderful Earth.
Praise is to God (Allah) who guides some on the correct path and some God (Allah) guides on the wrong path.
May we be among those who are correctly guided.
We praise only you God (Allah, who is the creator of every creation) on this day when we remember the Happy Birthday of Prophet Muhammad.
Happy because God (Allah) sent revelation in the Quran confirming that the Torah (Taurat) of Prophet Moses (Musa) and the Gospel (Injil) of Prophet Jesus (Isa) is the same as the Quran revealed 1400 years ago by Prophet Muhammad.
May God (Allah) show us the correct path to help and love God (Allah) and to help and love every person and every people in this world insha'Allah (God willing).

Comment from a reader.
In 1435 AH (15 January 2014 and 20 February 2014) Mohamed Ahmed Ali in Geneva, Switzerland writes:
I am happy to read this because your work always reminds us of the sanity (the wisdom) of peaceful co existence between all believers and non believers in a world full of diversity.
In fact no one has the right to use violence to impose his ideology or philosophies on other people.
People should learn how to live together because everyone is free to have his or her religion.
When we read the history of the prophets including Mohamed SCW (SCW in Somali means SAW in Arabic means PBUH in English means Peace and Blessings be Upon Him) we learn that all prophets were advocating peace, social justice and tranquillity.
For instance Moses (Muses) saw a poor Israeli man (a Hebrew man from the children of Israel) being beaten by a powerful Egyptian man during the time of the Pharaoh.
Moses (Muse) supported the poor man and hit the aggressor and so Moses (Muse) provoked the regime of the Pharaoh and Moses (Muse) had to flee from Egypt.
In other words Moses (Muse) sacrificed his own life for justice.
Prophet Mohamed SCW called people to believe in their creator and he did so in a peaceful manner, he also advocated for social justice especially for poor people.
Prophet Mohamed started fighting only after his enemy openly attacked him and his followers.
In other words he fought as an act of defence.
The problem today is that people propagate hate messages in the name of God (Allah) and they cowardly attack civilians as soft (easy) targets in the name of God (Allah).
We Muslims must disown such people and loudly and clearly say that they do not represent us (the Muslims).
They represent evil and Satan not God (Allah).
Small steps in the right direction will lead us to the promised land of a peaceful world which respects and enriches universally accepted human rights values.
I strongly believe that education can play an important role to bridge the gap between world citizens to understanding each other and in promoting peace at community, national, regional and global level.
I am now studying a Masters program in Geneva University (Switzerland) and I want to work on the role of peace education in peace building.
I believe peace education integrated in the school curriculum (course) and pre service courses (before serving as a teacher) as well as in service teacher training can contribute to create active global citizens who can contribute to world peace.
Peace education can help citizens learn how to think flexibly so that they avoid being hostages to past experiences and inbox (rigid) thinking mentality.
Peace education can help citizens to understand the interdependence of the world community.
Peace journalism can also teach the values of peace which can then be broadcast within local communities and to world communities.
Your work is an appeal (a call) for global (world) citizens to think globally (think about all the people on the Earth) and act locally in a manner that makes the world safe for humans today and for the coming generations to ensure the continuation of human life with dignity and freedom.
I hope that we can discuss more on this and other similar initiatives in the future.
God bless you.

Friendship between Muslims, Christians, Jews, Atheists and Agnostics.

1. Muslims can wish "Happy Christmas" (Merry Christmas) to all our Christian brothers and sisters.

The key for a non believer to understand Islam is friendship with a Muslim.
The first Muslims in the time of Prophet Muhammad came from people who were Stone idol worshippers, Atheists, Agnostics, Jews and Christians.
These first Muslims believed Prophet Muhammad because Prophet Muhammad showed friendship.
Without friendship people do not listen.
Today if a non believer touched the beard of a Muslim the Muslim might feel insulted and become angry with the non believer.
However 1400 years ago Prophet Muhammad was happy for a non believer to touch and play with his beard.
When a companion of Prophet Muhammad asked “Why do you let the unbeliever play with your beard while you are talking to him,” Prophet Muhammad said that when the non believer is in front of me he can hear my words and he might benefit from what he hears.
Muslims should take every opportunity to talk with Christians and Jews and non believers (Atheists and Agnostics) about Islam.
For example during the Christian Christmas holidays the Muslim can say “Happy Christmas” to a Christian and use this opportunity to give the Christian the gift of a piece of paper with this message:
"See on the Internet each verse of the Gospel of John (Injil of Jesus by John, Injil of Isa by John, Injil Yahya, Injil Yahyah, Injil Yohanes) explained by the Koran (Quran) and the Torah (Taurat)" here: https://sites.google.com/site/islamandthequran/the-gospel-of-john-chapters-1-3

This gift shows the Christian on this Internet website how to correctly understand the words in the Gospel (Injil) as God (Allah) has explained in the Quran and the Torah (Taurat).
Some Christians have told the Jews that Jesus (Isa) is god. This is one reason why Jews today do not believe in Jesus (Isa).
This gift from a Muslim explains on the Internet why Jesus (Isa) is not god.
This gift from a Muslim explains how the Quran and the Torah reveal to the Christian and the Jew that Jesus (Isa) is a prophet and a messenger of God (Allah).
A Muslim can use the holidays in every religion as an opportunity to make friendship with people of every belief to pass the gift of knowledge in the Torah (Taurat) and Gospel (Injil) and Koran (Quran) that God (Allah) has left in the world for all humankind.

2. What is Christmas?

Christmas is a Christian holiday celebrating the birthday of Jesus (Isa). Some Christians believe that Jesus (Isa) is god. Other Christians believe that Jesus (Isa) is a prophet and messenger.
Christmas is not a Jewish holiday. Jews believe Jesus was only a man, not god and not a prophet or messenger.
Christmas is not a Muslim holiday. Muslims believe that Jesus is a prophet and messenger like Prophet Moses (Musa) and Prophet Muhammad.
Muslims, Christians and Jews all believe that Jesus lived but they have different ideas about who Jesus was.
Since Muslims, Christians and Jews all believe that Jesus lived it is friendly for a Muslim and a Jew to wish happy Christmas to a Christian.
Happy Christmas means Happy Birthday to Jesus (Isa).
I like to wish Christians a Happy Christmas (meaning Happy Birthday to Prophet Jesus, Isa) and give the gift of a piece of paper with this message:
"See on the Internet each verse of the Gospel of John (Injil of Jesus by John, Injil of Isa by John, Injil Yahya, Injil Yahyah, Injil Yohanes) explained by the Koran (Quran) and the Torah (Taurat)" here: https://sites.google.com/site/islamandthequran/the-gospel-of-john-chapters-1-3
Let each Muslim who wishes give this gift that will help the Christian correctly understand the meaning of the words in the Gospel (Injil) Insha'Allah.

3. Muslims, Jews, Christians, Atheists and Agnostics are not enemies.

Some Jews and some Christians say “Happy Ramadan” to show their friendship to Muslims and some do not.
Some Jews and some Muslims say “Happy Christmas” to Christians to show friendship and some do not.
I like to say “Happy Christmas” to Christians because Christmas is an opportunity for a Muslim to make friends with a Christian by saying “Happy Christmas” and giving the Christian the gift of a piece of paper with this message:
"See on the Internet each verse of the Gospel of John (Injil of Jesus by John, Injil of Isa by John, Injil Yahya, Injil Yahyah, Injil Yohanes) explained by the Koran (Quran) and the Torah (Taurat)" here: https://sites.google.com/site/islamandthequran/the-gospel-of-john-chapters-1-3
I telephoned a Sydney radio station broadcasting live "on the air" in Australia to say that a Muslim can wish Christians a Happy Christmas.
I said Muslims, Jews and Christians "all believe that Jesus (Isa) lived" so Muslims and Jews can wish Christians a "Happy Christmas" holiday.
Some people say that Muslims and Jews and Christians and Atheists and Agnostics are enemies but I said that "the first Muslims came from people who were Stone idol worshippers, Jews, Christians and non believers (Atheists and Agnostics)."
Muslims and Jews and Christians and Atheists and Agnostics are not enemies because "we all have the same God (Allah who is the creator of every creation) and the same father (Adam) and the same mother (Eve, Hawa)."

4. What is Easter?

Easter is a Christian holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus (Isa) on the third day after his crucifixion.
However Jesus (Isa) did not die but fainted on the cross and as proof Jesus (Isa) was seen 3 days later.
When Christians visit your house before Easter to talk about Jesus (Isa) the Muslim can say “Happy Easter” meaning happy day when Jesus (Isa) was seen alive after 3 days and give the Christian the gift of a piece of paper with this message:
"See on the Internet each verse of the Gospel of John (Injil of Jesus by John, Injil of Isa by John, Injil Yahya, Injil Yahyah, Injil Yohanes) explained by the Koran (Quran) and the Torah (Taurat)" here: https://sites.google.com/site/islamandthequran/the-gospel-of-john-chapters-1-3
Let each Muslim who wishes give this gift that will help the Christian correctly understand the meaning of the words in the Gospel (Injil) Insha'Allah.

The birthday of Prophet Muhammad and the birthday of Prophet Jesus (Isa).

May peace be on them.

قد يكون السلام عليهم

1. When is an innovation (modernization) in religion misguided?
An innovation (modernization) in religion is misguided when humans forget to thank God (Allah).
An innovation (modernization) in religion is misguided when humans pray to humans instead of praying to God (Allah).
An innovation (modernization) in religion is misguided when humans forget that only God (Allah) has the power to hear prayer because God (Allah) is the creator of every creation.

2. Why is the celebrating of a Prophet’s birth an innovation (modernization) of guidance?
In the time of Prophet Muhammad the Jews remembered the signs of Prophet Moses (Musa) as a way to praise God (Allah).
Narrated by Ibn 'Abbas (the cousin of Prophet Muhammad):
When the Prophet (Muhammad 1400 years ago on the tenth day of the first month in the Islamic calendar) came to Medina (Yathrib in Arabia today in Saudi Arabia), he found (the Jews) fasting on the day of 'Ashura' (Ashura means tenth, 10th of Muharram, the tenth day of the first month in the Islamic calendar). They (the Jews) used to say: "This is a great day on which Allah (God) saved (Prophet) Moses (Musa) and drowned the folk (the people in the Army) of (the) Pharaoh (Firon). (Prophet)
Moses (Musa) observed the fast on this day, as a sign of gratitude to Allah (God)." The Prophet (Muhammad) said, "I am closer to Moses (Musa) than they (the Jews. Prophet Muhammad said this because both Muhammad and Moses are messengers of God, Allah. Prophet Muhammad is saying Prophet Moses, Musa was Muslim meaning Moses, Musa submitted himself to God, Allah therefore an event remembered by Jews about a Muslim in the past should certainly also be remembered by Muslims today)." So, he (Prophet Muhammad) observed the fast (on that day) and ordered the Muslims to fast on it. (Reported by Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4 Book 55 Hadith 609. Note that my comments have been added in brackets).

(Comment 1. Sunni Muslims and Shia Muslims are not enemies because Sunni Muslims and Shia Muslims are all Muslims.

Muslims believe in God (Allah) and all His books such as the Torah (Taurat) delivered through Prophet Moses (Musa) and the Gospel (Injil) delivered through Prophet Jesus (Isa) and the Koran (Quran) delivered through Prophet Muhammad.
Sunni Muslims and Shia Muslims both believe in God (Allah) and all His books such as the Torah (Taurat) delivered through Prophet Moses (Musa) and the Gospel (Injil) delivered through Prophet Jesus (Isa) and the Koran (Quran) delivered through Prophet Muhammad.

(The fast on the day of Ashura later became optional (not compulsory) when Ramadan became the month of compulsory fast as explained here). Abd al-Rahman reported that he heard Mu'awiya bin Abu Sufyan delivering a sermon in Medina. i.e. when he came there (for Hajj). He delivered a sermon on the day of 'Ashura and said: People of Medina, where are your scholars? I heard (Prophet Muhammad) the Messenger of Allah (God) say on this very day: It is the day of 'Ashura. Allah (God) has not made fasting on this day obligatory (compulsory) for you but I (Prophet Muhammad) am fasting (because 1400 years ago no human was closer to Moses than Muhammad since both Moses and Muhammad were the messengers of Allah, God. Prophet Muhammad is saying that an event remembered by Jews about a Messenger of God, Allah in the past should certainly also be remembered by a new Messenger of God, Allah such as Muhammad. When the month of Ramadan fasting was decreed Prophet Muhammad also said the following about fasting on the day of Ashura). He who likes to observe fast among you should do so, and he who likes not to observe it may not observe it. (Prophet Muhammad was the greatest lover of fasting because it brought him closer to God, Allah). (Reported by Sahih Muslim, Book 35 Number 2515. Note that my comments have been added in brackets. Also see the similar hadith in Sahih Bukhari, Volume 3 Book 31 Hadith 221).

After the passing of Prophet Muhammad, Sunni Muslims maintained this optional (not compulsory) fast of Ashura.
After the passing of Prophet Muhammad, Shia Muslims made Ashura a day to mourn the martyrdom of Husayn ibn Ali (grandson of Prophet Muhammad) who died in battle at a time after the passing of Prophet Muhammad.
The hadith in Sahih Muslim, Book 35, Number 2515 (which is similar to Sahih Bukhari, Volume 3 Book 31 Hadith 221) shows that all Muslims have been granted freedom of choice to observe or not observe fast on the day of Ashura and the only judge is God (Allah) on the Day of Judgement.

3. The birth of Prophet Muhammad.
After the passing away of Prophet Muhammad some Muslims made an innovation (modernization) in the religion of Islam to remember the birth of Prophet Muhammad as a sign from God (Allah) so as to thank God (Allah) in the same way as the Jews remember Prophet Moses (Musa) and the Christians remember Prophet Jesus (Isa) as signs from God (Allah) so as to thank God (Allah).

4. The birth of Prophet Jesus (Isa).
Christmas is a Christian celebration to thank God (Allah) for the birth of Jesus (Isa) who was a sign from God (Allah).
Christmas as we know it today was established by Christians as an innovation (modernization) in the religion of Christianity after the passing of Prophet Muhammad.

5. Islam has the same God (Allah) as Judaism and Christianity so how are Muslims different to Jews and Christians?

Islam is different in that Islam is the first religion where all its followers (the Muslims) believe in all the messengers of God (Allah) including Prophet Moses (Musa) and Prophet Jesus (Isa) and Prophet Muhammad.

6. What is the special mission of Muslims today?
1400 years ago God (Allah) established Islam and achieved freedom of religion.
Today every human has freedom of religious belief therefore the best guided Muslims today are those who bring the word of God (Allah) to the world in peace and friendship and the only judge is God (Allah) on the Day of Judgement.

7. If Prophet Muhammad was on the Earth today what would Prophet Muhammad say about Christmas?

Today Prophet Muhammad might say (only God, Allah really knows), "I am closer to Jesus (Isa) than they (the Christians).” Prophet Muhammad might say this because both Muhammad and Jesus (Isa) are messengers of God (Allah). Prophet Muhammad is saying Prophet Jesus (Isa) was Muslim meaning Jesus (Isa) submitted himself to God (Allah) therefore an event remembered by Christians about a Muslim in the past should certainly also be remembered by Muslims today.

(Comment A. Today Prophet Muhammad might say (only God, Allah really knows), if the Christians have a special day for remembering God (Allah) through the signs that God (Allah) showed on the Earth then surely the Muslims must be more (entitled, permitted, allowed) deserving of remembering such a special event in human history because the Muslim is a person who has received the last message for humankind from God (Allah) in the Quran which confirms that everything that God (Allah) revealed before in the Torah (Taurat) and the Gospel (Injil) is the truth because it is from God (Allah) and no one has the power to change the word of God (Allah).

(Comment B. If Judaism and Christianity and Islam have the same God (Allah) then they would all remember Jesus (Isa) because Jesus (Isa) was one of the signs of God (Allah).

Jews and Christians and Muslims have all heard of Jesus (Isa) because Jesus (Isa) was a sign of God (Allah).

(Comment C. Today Prophet Muhammad might say (only God, Allah really knows), that if Christians are celebrating the birth of Jesus (Isa) it is more fitting for Muslims to celebrate the birth of Prophet Jesus (Isa) because Jesus was a Muslim and if the Christians are celebrating the remembrance of Jesus (Isa) as a sign of God (Allah) then it is more (entitled, permitted, allowed) deserving that Muslims today should also remember this sign from God (Allah) and thank God (Allah).

(Comment D. Today Prophet Muhammad might say (only God, Allah really knows), “that Muslims can wish Christians a Happy Christmas (meaning Happy Birthday to Prophet Jesus, Isa) and give the gift of a piece of paper with this message:

"See on the Internet each verse of the Gospel of John (Injil of Jesus by John, Injil of Isa by John, Injil Yahya, Injil Yahyah, Injil Yohanes) explained by the Koran (Quran) and the Torah (Taurat)" here: https://sites.google.com/site/islamandthequran/the-gospel-of-john-chapters-1-3

Let each Muslim who wishes give this gift that will help the Christian correctly understand the meaning of the words in the Gospel (Injil) Insha'Allah.

(Comment E. Today Prophet Muhammad might say (only God, Allah really knows), that Christmas is a time when Muslims can teach both the Christian and the Jew that the correct meaning of Christmas is as a remembrance of the signs of God (Allah) revealed on Earth through the birth of Prophet Jesus (Isa).

World peace through the unification of the Books of God.

World peace through the unification of the Books of Allah (Allaah).

The Koran and the Gospel and the Torah.

The Quran and the Injil and the Taurat.

I have interpreted the Quran on the basis that:

1. The Quran states it is the same as what was revealed before it in the Torah and the Gospel and

2. The Quran states that nothing was revealed to Prophet Muhammad except what was revealed to the messengers before him and

3. The Quran states that no one can change the word of God.

When the Quran is interpreted based on these three statements and all stories (hadith) from humans that conflict with those three statements are rejected then the interpretation of the Quran is supported by both the Torah and the Gospel.

This interpretation of the verses of the Quran includes their meaning 1400 years ago with comments about what they mean today and shows how the Torah, Gospel and Quran support each other.

Teaching the Quran as the Quran says it should be understood will help people protect themselves from stories (hadiths) from humans that are against what the Quran has revealed.

For example today some Muslims say the Torah and the Gospel have been changed by humans but the Quran says that no one can change the word of God.

If humans changed the Torah and the Gospel it would be proof that God does not exist because God has said that no one can change the word of God.

Quran 6:115 Verse 6:115 The Word of your Lord (God) is perfect in truth and justice and there is none that can change His (God’s, Allah’s) words. He (God) hears and knows (all things).
(Comment 1. The proof that God (Allah) is real is that God (Allah) protects His word in the Torah (Taurat), Gospel (Injil) and Koran (Quran).

Quran 5:68 Verse 5:68 Say (Prophet Muhammad to the Jews of Yathrib, Medina in Arabia today in Saudi Arabia and to the Christians), “O People of the Scripture, You have nothing (no guidance, no religion) until you observe the Torah and the Gospel and what was revealed to you from your Lord (God, Allah).” ….”

(Comment 1. God (Allah) in the Quran confirms that in the time of Prophet Muhammad the Jews were commanded to follow the Torah (Taurat) and the Christians were commanded to follow the Gospel (Injil) thereby confirming that the Torah (Taurat) and the Gospel (Injil) are protected because they are the word of God (Allah).

Quran 3:3 Verse 3:3 It is He (God, Allah) who has sent down the Book (the Quran) to you (Prophet Muhammad) with truth, confirming what came before it (in the Gospel and in the Torah). And He (God, is the one who) sent down the Torah and the Gospel -

Quran 3:4 Verse 3:4 – in the past, as guidance to humans. And He (God, Allah) has sent down the judgements between right and wrong. ….”

Quran 17:2 Verse 17:2 We (God, Allah) gave to (Prophet) Moses the Scripture (the Torah, Taurat), and made it (the Torah, Taurat) a guidance for the children of Israel, saying, “Take no other guardian (for your affairs) except Me (God, Allah).”

Quran 52:1 Verse 52:1 Witness (see) the Mount (on Mount Sinai, Mount Horeb where God, Allah revealed the Torah, Taurat to Prophet Moses, Musa).

Quran 52:2 Verse 52:2 And (see) a written Book (which is the Torah, Taurat that is) -

Quran 52:3 Verse 52:3 In an unrolled parchment (which is the Torah, Taurat in a rolled parchment that is unrolled when it is read).

(Comment 1. The Torah (Taurat) is the word of God (Allah).

The Torah (Taurat) in an unrolled parchment in the time of Prophet Muhammad which the Jews were commanded to follow is the same Torah (Taurat) that is in an unrolled parchment today.

The Torah (Taurat) which is written on parchment is closed by rolling up the parchment and opened by unrolling the parchment to read it.

Quran 5:69 Verse 5:69 Those (Muslims) who believe (in God), and those who are Jews and Sabians and Christians and whoever believes in God and the Last Day and does good work (in their life), they shall have no fear and they shall not grieve (in the hereafter).

(Comment 1. God (Allah) in the Quran confirms that in the time of Prophet Muhammad the Jews who correctly followed the Torah (Taurat) and the Christians who correctly followed the Gospel (Injil) shall be successful in the Hereafter meaning that God (Allah) has protected His word in both the Torah (Taurat) and the Gospel (Injil).

(Comment 2. The Gospel (Injil) in the time of Prophet Muhammad which the Christians were commanded to follow is the same Gospel (Injil) that exist today.

Quran 4:123 Verse 4:123 It (entry to Paradise in the hereafter) shall not be based on your (the Muslims) desires or on the desires of the people of the Scripture (the Jews and the Christians). (Instead) whoever does wrong shall earn (the punishment for the wrong) and that person shall not find any protector or helper other than God (in the hereafter).

Quran 29:46 Verse 29:46 And do not argue with the People of the Scripture (the Jews and the Christians) except in the best way (by using good words and in a good manner), except with those of them that are wrongdoers. And say, “We (Muslims) believe in what has been revealed to us (Muslims in the Quran) and revealed to you (the Jews in your Torah and the Christians in your Gospel). Our (Muslim) God and your (Jewish and Christian) God is (the same) one (God) and to Him (God, the creator of every creation) we have submitted (ourselves as believers in Him the one and only God).”

(Comment 1. God (Allah) commands belief in what is revealed in the Torah (Taurat), Gospel (Injil) and Koran (Quran) because these are the word of God (Allah).

Quran 30:30 Verse 30:30 So direct yourself (Prophet Muhammad) towards the religion (the belief in one creator) for which He (God who is the one and only creator) has created (religion for) humans. No one can alter what God has created (in religion, in the Torah, the Gospel and the Quran). That is the right religion (belief), but most people do not know (this)

God (Allah, Allaah) protects His word. No one has the power to change the word of God (Allah, Allaah).

If humans could change the word of God (Allah, Allaah) in the Torah (Taurat) or the Gospel (Injil) or the Quran then no revelation could be trusted.

Satan whispers that humans changed the Torah (Taurat) and the Gospel (Injil).

The Quran teaches that the Torah (Taurat), Gospel (Injil) and Quran are the word of God (Allah) and it is therefore not fitting to believe that humans have the power to change God’s (Allah's) word.

Quran 2:106 Verse 2:106 None of Our (God’s, Allah’s) revelations do We (God, Allah) cancel or cause to be forgotten, but instead We (God, Allah) substitute something better or similar. Do you not know that God (Allah) has knowledge over all things (and knows what and when to reveal something better or similar)?

Quran 6:115 Verse 6:115 The Word of your Lord (God, Allah) is perfect in truth and justice and there is none that can change His (God’s, Allah's) words. He (God, Allah) hears and knows (all things).

Quran 30:30 Verse 30:30 So direct yourself (Prophet Muhammad) towards the religion (the belief in one creator) for which He (God, Allah who is the one and only creator) has created (religion for) humans. No one can alter what God (Allah) has created (in religion, in the Torah, the Gospel and the Quran). That is the right religion (belief), but most people do not know (this).

The Torah (Taurat) and Gospel (Injil) and Koran (Quran) are the word of God (Allah).
If humans can change the Torah (Taurat) or Gospel (Injil) or Koran (Quran) then humans have proved that God (Allah) does not exist because God (Allah) decreed that no one has the power to change the word of God (Allah).
Belief in God (Allah) can only be a true belief if you believe that the Torah (Taurat) and Gospel (Injil) and Koran (Quran) are the word of God (Allah) and this can only be true if humans have no power to change those words.
If you believe that humans changed the word of God (Allah) in the Torah (Taurat) or Gospel (Injil) or Koran (Quran) then you do not believe in God (Allah) because you have proved that God (Allah) does not exist.

Satan (Shaitan) wants the Jews to reject all the books of God (Allah) except the Torah (Taurat) revealed to Moses (Musa) by making Jews believe that humans changed the other Books of God (Allah).
Satan (Shaitan) wants the Christians to reject all the books of God (Allah) except the Gospel (Injil) revealed to Jesus (Isa) by making Christians believe that humans changed the other Books of God (Allah).
Satan (Shaitan) wants the Muslims to reject all the books of God (Allah) except the Koran (Quran) by making Muslims believe that humans changed the other Books of God (Allah).

God (Allah) in the Quran confirms that the Torah (Taurat) and the Gospel (Injil) and the Koran (Quran) all belong to God (Allah) and no human has the power to change God’s (Allah's) word in His Books.

Satan (Shaitan) makes some Jews and some Christians and some Muslim believe that a human changed the word of God (Allah) in the Torah (Taurat) or Gospel (Injil) or Koran (Quran) because such a belief is proof that God (Allah) does not exist because God (Allah) did not protect His word which means God (Allah) is not real.
This is how God (Allah) uses Satan (Shaitan) to show who do not believe in God (Allah) when they claim that humans have the power to change the word of God (Allah) in the Books of God (Allah).

This disbelief in some of the Books of God (Allah) is why some Jews only believe in the Torah (Taurat) and some Christians only believe in the Gospel (Injil) and some Muslims only believe in the Koran (Quran).
This is also why some Jews and some Christians and some Muslims believe and read the stories from humans (hadith) instead of reading and believing the word of God (Allah) in the Torah (Taurat) and the Gospel (Injil) and the Koran (Quran) which they claim are God’s (Allah's) words that humans altered.
So they believe the words of humans in stories (hadith) more than the word of God (Allah) in the Torah (Taurat) and the Gospel (Injil) and the Koran (Quran) which some claim are God’s (Allah's) words that were changed by humans.

Belief in the Torah, Gospel and Quran removes conflict between all the religions of God, Allah (Jewish, Christian and Muslim) because all the Books of God, Allah (Torah, Gospel and Quran) support each other.
Conflict between God’s Allah's Books comes from the teaching of stories (hadith) from humans that are against what the Quran has said which is that the Torah, Gospel and Quran all belong to God, Allah and no one can change the word of God, Allah.

Today some people are happy when they study stories (hadith) from humans but they never look at any of the other Books of God, Allah except their own Book because they believe that humans changed the Torah or the Gospel or the Quran.

Satan (Shaitan) deceives some people to talk against God, Allah when people say that humans changed the Torah (Taurat) or Gospel (Injil) or Koran (Quran).
The belief that humans changed the Torah (Taurat) or Gospel (Injil) or Koran (Quran) is an error in thinking because it is a proof that God, Allah does not exist because God, Allah has said that no one can change God’s, Allah's word. This is how Satan (Shaitan) makes some people talk against God, Allah.
When some people say that humans changed the Torah (Taurat) and Gospel (Injil) they do not realize that they are saying that God (Allah) does not exist because God (Allah) has revealed that proof of God’s (Allah's) existence is that no one can change the word of God (Allah).
In that way Satan (Shaitan) deceives some people to speak against God (Allah).

Satan (Shaitan) has a special purpose for encouraging some Muslims to say that the Torah and the Gospel have been changed by humans and that is to make Jews and Christians run away from Islam because Jews and Christians believe that no one can change God’s (Allah's) word.
When a Muslim says that God’s (Allah's) word has been changed in the Torah (Taurat) and the Gospel (Injil) it is against God (Allah) to say such a thing and so Jews and Christians run away from Islam.
Satan (Shaitan) wants Jews and Christians to reject Islam every time a Muslim claims that humans changed the word of God (Allah) in the Torah (Taurat) and the Gospel (Injil).
Satan (Shaitan) wants the Jews and the Christians to reject the Quran so that the Jews and the Christians do not hear God's (Allah's) last guidance to the Jews and the Christians in the Quran.

To stop and to prevent the false belief that God (Adonai, Allaah, Allah, Elohim, G-d, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH) allows Muslims to kill innocent non Muslim civilians requires the correct teaching of the Quran, Gospel and Torah on radio, TV and the Internet so that people are not easily misled by those who forget Quran 2:62, 4:123, 5:32 and 5:45.

Quran 2:62 Verse 2:62 Truly those (Muslims) who believe and those who are Jews, Christians and Sabians, (and) whoever believes in God (Allah) and the Day of Judgment and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and they shall not fear or grieve in the hereafter.

Quran 4:123 Verse 4:123 It (entry to Paradise in the hereafter) shall not be based on your (Muslim) desires or on the desires of the people of the Scripture (the Jews and the Christians). (Instead) whoever does wrong shall earn (the punishment for the wrong) and that person shall not find any protector or helper other than God (Allah, in the hereafter).

Quran 5:32 Verse 5:32 For this reason (that for the first time a human killed another human in the time of Adam and Eve and their two sons which was before the existence of the children of Israel) We (God, Allah) ordered the children of Israel (through the inspiration of the teachers of the Jewish Talmud) that whoever kills a person it is as if that person killed all of humankind (to warn humans against the great evil of killing one human life so that humans understand the great value of one human life in the sight of God, Allah) unless it is in retaliation for murder or for misbehaviour in the land. And whoever saves a life it is as if that person has saved all of humankind (to teach humans the great goodness in the saving of one human life so that humans understand the great value of one human life in the sight of God, Allah). Our (God’s, Allah’s) messengers came to them (the children of Israel) with clear arguments but still after that (inspiration of the teachers of the Jewish Talmud) many of them (among the children of Israel) continued to commit great crimes (by killing humans unlawfully) in the land (so this is a message from God, Allah to the human not to commit the great crime of killing human life but instead to work to save human life).

Quran 5:45 Verse 5:45 (And in the Torah) We (God, Allah) gave all the laws, the life for the life, the eye for the eye, the nose for the nose, the ear for the ear, the tooth for the tooth, these are the laws of retaliation for giving wounds that are equal to what were unjustly inflicted. Whoever forgoes it (Whoever gives the mercy of not retaliating) shall be rewarded by (God, Allah) cancelling some of the sins of the person (that had the right to retaliate but did not retaliate but instead they followed in the way of God’s, Allah’s recommended mercy). Whoever does not judge by what God, Allah has revealed are wrong doers.

Comments from readers.
In 1435 AH (11 April 2014) Mohamed Ahmed Ali in Geneva, Switzerland writes:
Thank you Sam for making the Quran easy to understand to allow people to learn Islam from the original sources and avoid confusion and manipulation of the Quran by mislead extremist.
This is one way to free people from extremist who want to indoctrinate people and cultivate seeds of hate.
I am completing my Master program on 30 June 2014 and my investigation is about the role of peace education in the peaceful building of Somalia.
I want to go back and work in Somalia on peace education programs.
I want to work with education institutions and persuade them to integrate peace education studies in schools like conflict resolution, safety and security, child rights, social justice, democracy and gender, global interdependence and civic community education.
I want also to advocate that schools boost English language study.
These initiatives will enable Somali youths to have access to world literature that broaden their knowledge of the world.
The aim is to produce enlightened young Somali leaders who are resistant to extremism because they respect global interdependence and understand its benefit for Somalia.
I would like interested people and institutions to work with us on this program.
For example retired English teachers in Australia can offer to help us on Skype with English courses for Somali youths and Somalis can organise internet facilities for this in Somalia.

Hello Mohamed,
I understand that you will use your life to help the people in Somalia God willing (Insha’Allah).
This is very wonderful and I hope that people who love Somalia will find you and join with you.
I am happy that I can help you by putting your comments on the Islam and Quran website.
The more I explore the Quran the more I understand God willing (Insha’Allah).
If you stop investigating then you cannot correct errors in your knowledge.
I remember the time when I believed that Ishmael (Ismail) was the son to be sacrificed because that is what many people said.
If I had stopped learning then I would not know that Isaac (Ishaq) was the son to be sacrificed and I would live and die with a false belief.

"... No one can change the word of God (Quran 30:30) but some people believe that humans changed the Torah (Taurat) and the Gospel (Injil) which is an impossible belief because it is a proof that God does not exist because God did not protect His Books).

I like to research the Quran and the Torah (Taurat) and the Gospel (Injil) to find the truth.

The extremist lives with a false belief because they listen to humans and they stop exploring and investigating and seeking the truth.

The extremist loves to make other humans fear them.
The Muslims helps people fear God (Allah) only.

The extremist loves to kill people and kill themselves.
The Muslim loves people and welcomes all people to Islam.

The extremist hates people who do not agree with extremism.
The Muslim is patient and tolerant and respectful.

The extremist loves violence and force.
The Muslim is free and respects the freedom of every other human.

The extremist loves to destroy.
The Muslim loves to build.

The extremist thinks they have power and authority and the wisdom in all things.
The Muslim knows that only God (Allah) has power and authority and the wisdom in all things.

The extremist is misguided to arrogance because they respect only them self.
The correctly guided Muslim is not arrogant because they respect all humans.

To know if you are correctly guided or incorrectly guided you must explore life every day.
1400 years ago the stone idol worshippers loved to worship stone idols because they never asked “is my belief correct?”
Many people die with false belief because they never ask and explore the question “is my belief correct?”

I enjoy exploring each verse in the Koran (Quran) and Torah (Taurat) and Gospel (Injil) by asking questions such as:

Do I understand the meaning of this verse?

What is this verse referring to?

Is this verse also in the Torah (Taurat) or Gospel (Injil)?

Is this verse about the history of the establishment of Islam?

Does this verse apply only to the Prophet and the people in his time 1400 years ago or does it apply to all Muslims in all times?

I ask for a correct understanding of the Books of God Insha'Allah (God willing).

Comments: Attacks on churches in Kenya and Nigeria in 2014 (1435 AH).

Mc Mohamed in Garowe, Puntland, Somalia (29 March 2014 1435 AH):

I want to send this message around the world that Islam does not support terrorists.

Islam is a religion of peace and does not allow attacking anther religion by killing civilians like children, women and innocent people.

Mohamed Ahmed Ali in Geneva, Switzerland (29 March 2014 1435 AH):

We the Muslims need to reflect on ourselves and our values and fight against criminal networks that are using our noble Islamic religion to justify their inhuman violence and extremism.

We the Muslims are undergoing difficult, tough and important historic times in which we have to face multiple challenges from different fronts including the worst forms of governance systems, dictatorship, monarchies, weak states, fragile states, failed states, economy woes and the problems of inequality and marginalization of social groups.

We have terrorists who want to take advantage of frustrations and who want to spread violence in the name of Islam.

We also have new colonial powers who take advantage of our weaknesses to exploit our resources and maintain their global authority at the expenses of us.

Quran 22:39 Verse 22:39 Permission is given to those (believers to fight against the stone idol worshippers in Mecca (Makkah)) who are fighting them and because they (the believers) have been wronged. God is able to give them (believers) victory. – (Continued Quran 22:40).

(Note 1. The permission given to fight a people (the stone idol worshippers) at a specific location (Mecca, Makkah in Arabia today in Saudi Arabia) was given by God at a specific time (1400 years ago) to a specific person (Prophet Muhammad) for a specific purpose (to replace injustice with justice).

(Note 2. The Quran is the history of the establishment of Islam.

(Note 3. What is Holy War? What is Jihad? See Quran 47:20 comments https://sites.google.com/site/islamandthequran/quran-chapter-47-god-ordered-protection-to-every-monastery-church-synagogue-and-mosque

Quran 22:40 Verse 22:40  (They are) those (believers) who have been driven from their homes unjustly (by the stone idol worshippers in Mecca (Makkah)) only because they said, “Our Lord is God.” Had it not been for God's repelling some people by means of others then monasteries, churches, synagogues and mosques in which the name of God is often mentioned would certainly have been pulled down. God helps the one who helps Him ((God) by protecting every monastery, church, synagogue and mosque where God is worshipped). God is strong and almighty.

(Note 1. God ordered protection to every monastery, church, synagogue and mosque.

(Note 2. What is Holy War? What is Jihad? See Quran 47:20 comments https://sites.google.com/site/islamandthequran/quran-chapter-47-god-ordered-protection-to-every-monastery-church-synagogue-and-mosque

The Quran 1400 years ago and the Quran today.

1. Today God (Allah) has given no person permission to kill humans in the name of God (Allah).

2. The wars of today are a great evil when they claim to be Holy and they have nothing to do with what God (Allah) has commanded and are only about human desires and not God’s (Allah’s) desire. The proof is that the wars of today use the religion of Islam for human made purposes where misguided people use the name of God (Allah) to kill other Muslims.

3. Today we are born in the first generation where God (Allah, Allaah) has made slavery illegal everywhere on the earth. All the countries of the world have agreed at the United Nations with God’s (Allah’s, Allaah’s) will.

4. Today we are born in the first generation where God (Allah, Allaah) has given freedom to accept or reject religion. All the countries of the world have agreed at the United Nations with God’s (Allah’s, Allaah’s) will.

5. Today the best examples of correctly guided Muslims are those who spread the word of God (Allah) in peace and friendship to all the peoples of the world.

6. Today we are born in the first generation where God (Allah, Allaah) has given humans permission to travel in the heavens.

The Torah on the Moon and Mars.
The Torah (Tauraah, Taurah, Tauraat, Taurat, Tavraat, Tavrat, Tawraah, Tawrah, Tawraat, Tawrat, Towraat, Towrat, Al-Tauraah, Al-Taurah, Al- Tauraat, Al-Taurat, Al-Tavraat, Al-Tavrat, Al-Tawraah, Al-Tawraat, Al-Tawrah, Al-Tawrat, Al-Towrat, Al-Towraat) on the Moon and Mars.

Why travel in Space?

The Quran tells humans and jinn to go to space if you can in Quran 55:33 – 55:34.

Quran 55:33 Verse 55:33 Ayah 55:33 O company of jinn and humans, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You shall never be able to pass them except with (God’s, Allah’s, Allaah’s) authority (and with the knowledge that is given by God, Allah, Allaah to you).

Quran 55:34 Verse 55:34 Ayah 55:34 So which of the favours of your Lord (God, Allah, Allaah) do you deny (is a favour from God, Allah, Allaah to you)?

(Comment 1. Space travel from Earth to the Moon and Mars and beyond is possible with authority from God (Allah, Allaah).

Why has God (Allah, Allaah) given humans permission to travel in space beyond the heavens (beyond the sky)?

Could it be that God (Allah, Allaah) wants humans and jinn to see more of what God (Allah, Allaah) has created?

Quran 16:8 Verse 16:8 Ayah 16:8 And (God, Allah, Allaah created) horses and mules and donkeys (asses, so) that you may ride and use (them) for show (meaning, for enjoyment). And He (God, Allah, Allaah) creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge.

(Comment 1. Quran 16:8 is about the creation of life and reveals that God (Allah, Allaah) creates other life about whose existence humans had no knowledge at the time of this revelation).

Quran 36:36 Verse 36:36 Ayah 36:36 Exalted is He (God, Allah, Allaah) who created all the sexual pairs (of creatures) on the earth including themselves (the humans) and others (meaning, other life forms) which they (the humans and jinn) do not know about.

Quran 42:29 Verse 42:29 Ayah 42:29 And among His (God’s, Allah’s, Allaah’s) signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and of the creatures that He (God, Allah, Allaah) has scattered in them (heavens and the earth). And He (God, Allah, Allaah) is able to gather them (creatures) when He (God, Allah, Allaah) will (on the Day of Judgement).

12 people have travelled from Earth and walked on the Moon.

Today Iran, Israel, Palestine, Saudi Arabia and the world could work together to put the Quran, the Torah (Taurat) and the Gospel (Injil) on the Moon if God willed.
See: Haman in the Quran, section 1.82 God’s (Allah’s) Books on the Moon.

Radio photo of the Moon taken on 1432 AH (December 2010) by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) which was sent 385,000 kilometres (239,000 miles) from Earth to the Moon. The Moon Reconnaissance Orbiter is now in orbit 50 km above the Moon's surface and will orbit the Moon until 1434 AH (2013 thanks to NASA/JPL and Arizona State University).

Sultan Salman Abdulaziz Al-Saud of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia orbited the earth for 7 days on the US Space shuttle Discover in 1405 AH (1985 thanks to NASA).
Salman was one of a seven in an international crew that also included American and French astronauts.
Salman represented the Arab Satellite Communications Organisation (ARABSAT) and deployed their satellite ARABSAT-1B.

Praying in Space.
As space exploration develops it will open the wonder of the creation of the Universe to more people.
The Quran reminds humans and jinn to remember God (Allah, Allaah) when they travel in space in the regions of the heavens and beyond.
The 5 prayers in Islam can be done using local time in the spacecraft, rocket or space station in which you are a pilot or a passenger.
The 5 prayers in Islam on the Moon or on Mars could also be done using the local time on the Moon or on Mars.
Since there is no normal Sunrise, Sunset, Moonrise or Moonset times that can determine prayer times in space, and since God (Allah, Allaah) understands this, the religious scholars might decide to fix the local time in space as the basis for the time for prayer.
For example they might decide that for travellers in space the prayer times might be Fajr (first prayer) 5am, Zuhr (2nd prayer) 12.30pm, Asr (3rd prayer) 3.30pm, Maghrib (4th prayer) 6pm and Isha (5th prayer) 7.30pm.
The direction to face during prayers on a spacecraft can be towards the Earth. If it is not possible to face this direction, God (Allah, Allaah) understands this, so do you’re prayer facing whichever direction is convenient.
On the Moon and on Mars the Earth is not always visible, again God (Allah, Allaah) understands this so do you’re prayer facing whichever direction is convenient.

This is an interpretation of some of the meanings in the Quran.
This is not a perfect translation of the Quran because the Quran is in the Arabic language.
The Arabic language in the Quran must be understood as it was understood over 1400 years ago.
God guides who He wills to the correct understanding of the Quran.
In the English language the word Allah is God.
