Submission Instructions

Submitted papers must be original, and not submitted concurrently to a journal or another conference/symposium. Each submitted paper will be peer-reviewed by at least two reviewers and must get an average positive rating for inclusion in the conference program and CD-ROM proceedings. 

Papers must use the ACM template available at here and must be submitted as PDF through the EasyChair conference system.

Please submit your paper (in PDF) to https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iscencite2014. You have to create first an account at www.easychair.org in order to submit your paper.

ISCE and NCITE will not accept any paper which, at the time of submission, is under review for or has already been published or accepted for publication in a journal or another conference. Authors are also required not to submit their papers elsewhere during ISCE and NCITE's review period. Authors will be required to confirm that their submissions conform to these requirements at the time of submission.

Papers and Abstracts

Each submitted paper must have a minimum of 6 pages and maximum of 15 pages. Acceptance as a full paper entails a 15 minute presentation during a regular session. Author names may be changed or re-ordered after reviewing.

Proceedings and Publications

Papers accepted in ISCE 2014 will be published in a special issue of the Philippine Information Technology Journal subject to the usual journal peer-review and revisions. 

Papers accepted for presentation in NCITE 2014 may be submitted for possible publication in the regular Philippine Information Technology Journal issues subject to the usual journal peer-review and revisions.

Authors are expected to make a reasonable effort to address reviewers’ comments prior to the submission of their revised paper. Where such expectations have been flouted, actions may be taken to preserve the quality of the conference and the expectations of conference goers. 

At least one author of each accepted paper is required to register, attend, and present the paper at ISCE 2014 or NCITE 2014.

DISCOUNTED FEE FOR PAPER PRESENTOR

The author who will present the accepted paper or accepted poster may avail of a discounted rate of PHP 7,000.00(Live-In) or 6,000.00(Live-Out) or USD 225(Foreign) even during the on-site registration. The author should present a printout of the acceptance letter sent by ISCE2014 and NCITE2014 Secretariat. For papers with multiple authors and multiple presenters, only one of the presenters can avail of the discount.
