WHO: Students going into grades 5th – 9th 

WHAT: Summer Enrichment in the  areas of: Braille, Assistive Technology, 

Math, Nemeth, & Daily Living Skills

WHERE: Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired

WHEN: Monday through Friday, July 10th – July 21st, 2017 (Students arrive Sunday evening July 9th)

WHY: Our summer enrichment program will provide direct instruction to students in the areas of math, Nemeth, braille, and assistive technology.  This program is available to students throughout the state of Indiana who are blind or have low vision.  Dorms are available to students who live outside the Metropolitan area.  Priority will be given to students who can attend both weeks.

Short Course is an immersion program between ISBVI and the local school districts to help local education agencies in implementing the individual education plan (IEP) goals of students with visual impairments throughout the state of Indiana with emphasis on expanded core curriculum.

One full-week of overnight camping!  If you are between the ages of 10 - 15 and would like to join us for some exciting new adventures and camping fun, then EYH Camp is just for you!  This camp is for students who are blind or have low vision.   Campers will be participating in daily activities aligned with STEM standards. Activities will include designing boats, archery, horseback riding, racing go-carts, and much more!

 Sunday, June 18 -  Friday, June 23, 2017 
$75 registration fee.
Students will be leaving campus for various activities.

Registration is closed for this year's camp.

"Cane Quest is no-cost orientation and mobility competition that seeks to motivate youth who are blind or have low vision to practice and compete using proper cane and safe travel techniques. This is a grass-roots, regional competition that takes place each fall in hopes to grow into a national event with finals in Los Angeles, CA."   

"The Braille Challenge is a fun literacy contest that encourages kids to test the Braille reading and writing at regional and national events that have become an annual highlight for the participants and their families."
