The twenty-first century is undoubtedly the century of biology. The subject has undergone a paradigm shift, and it is now a truly multidisciplinary pursuit involving biology, computer science, mathematics and statistics. The goal of this symposium is to bring together distinguished researchers from different disciplines working on biologically motivated problems in computer and information sciences. Enabling conversations between these groups would be of benefit to everyone and, hopefully, would lead to new collaborations and insights for all. This the objective of this International Symposium organized by Silicon Institute of Technology with the support from OITS and other professional bodies.
