Experience:

Teacher of elementary gifted education and special education.  Extensive experience with differentiated instruction and collaborative instruction in the regular education classroom to 
support both struggling and advanced learners.   Developed curricula for enrichment programs at the UGA Torrance Center for Creativity. Collaborated in the creation of the UGA Talent
Identification Program for elementary-age students.  Developed and continue to lead workshops for K-12 teachers on infusing critical thinking and creativity in standards-based classrooms.

                instruction; Program evaluation 

Personal Information:
 
                A native of Washington, D.C., I currently live in Athens with my husband and three young children.  Personal interests include reading, running, hiking, travel, and gardening.
