About me
I was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow at Laboratory forSocial and Neural Systems (SNS) , University of Zurich. I work with Christian Ruff investigating ways to boost motivation .
Research Interests
I am interested in motivated behaviour as implemented in decision making. While many have looked at how rewards influence people's choices, I investigate how effort change people's preferences. I conducted several experiments on the integration between physical effort and reward, and how choice, effort, and failure shape valuation. Currently, I aim to characterise the role of arousal in signalling motivation and I plan to find ways to boost people's motivation to exert effort to pursue goals through mental simulation.
