Irene Brambilla is a Professor of Economics at Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP). She is also a Visiting Professor at Universidad de San Andrés (UdeSA) and a Researcher at CONICET. Previously she held positions as Assistant Professor at Yale University and Faculty Research Fellow at the NBER. She obtained her Ph.D. from Princeton University in 2004.

Professor Brambilla's research interest are international trade and applied microeconomics. She has taught courses on International Trade, Empirical Methods in Industrial Organization, Applied Econometrics, and Intermediate Microeconomics
