Welcome to the wiki of Library Camp Ireland 2013, the first library unconference in Ireland brought to you by the Career Development Group with the support of the Academic and Special Libraries Section of the LAI.

'What is a library camp?', we hear you say; a library camp is an informal gathering of all those interested in libraries who would like to come together and discuss the hot topics in the field of information science. Library Camp Ireland is one of a number of library camps that have taken place all over the world, from the UK to Australia. A more detailed explanation can be found in the How It All Works section.

We said informal and we really mean it! This will be an unconference, a gathering without set speakers where people come together to discuss what is most important to them. And what is most important? That's for you to decide. So head on over to the Pitches page and let us know or see the navigation bar on the left for more details on the Libcamp.

See you all on the 25th of May for some lively discussions and post event drinks!
