PANELS RC-23 Elections, Citizens and Parties: IPSA World Congress 19-24 July 2014
The Program organizer, Professor Susan Banducci, has organized twenty panels on behalf of IPSA-ECP Research Committee 23 at the IPSA World Congress in Montreal 19-24th July 2014. This provisional list is not yet finalized and it is subject to change.
The range of panels address new developments impacting elections, parties and citizens (such as the Western financial crisis, the rise of emerging economies, the Arab uprisings), new sources of data (social media, bio-social data or big social data), and the application of innovative methods for the study of elections, parties and citizens.
In addition, members of RC23 and all participants are invited to drinks and canapes at a jointly-sponsored reception, Monday 21st May, 5.00-7.00pm, 7th floor terraces, Congres de Palais, Montreal.
