WE ARE DILIGENTLY WORKING ON A COMPLETE REDESIGN OF OUR WEBSITE! PLEASE STAY TUNED!
iPraxis's goal is to encourage students in Philadelphia public and charter schools to embrace and pursue science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) learning opportunities. Using project-based learning activities like science fairs, in-class presentations, workshops, field trips, and career fairs, students gain insight into how things work in the real world and discover new possibilities for their future.
iPraxis relies on volunteer STEM professionals and students, on donors and supporters, and on students, teachers, and parents to fulfil its mission.
A Celebration of Student Achievement in Science
iPraxis's annual iFunction event publicly recognizes student science competition winners from schools participating in our programs. Parents as well as students and their teachers are invited. At iFunction student science fair winners are presented with medals and lab coats by prominent Philadelphia educators, scientists and business people. Teachers, volunteers and organizations that support the programs are also recognized for their commitment to STEM education. This event is held at, and co-sponsored by Drexel University.
