The photo-call for the club for our last meeting at RAF Brampton.
Even the gate guardian behind the group has moved on as RAF Brampton closes.

The Brampton Model Club meets every Wednesday night from 7:30 to 9:30pm, at The Old School Hall, Sawtry, near Huntingdon. Find Us The car park and door are at the rear, drive up the entrance on the left of the building. Watch out for the speed bumps.

Alternate weeks are themed, with members encouraged to bring along models to match ( however tenuously) the theme. See the "What's On" page for the meeting themes, and dates of club displays at modelling shows.

Our members interests cover all topics, aircraft, ships, figures, vehicles, even the occasional dinosaur and dragon. One member also claimed to have seen a pink elephant on the club tables, but he may have sniffed too much glue. Visit the Showcase galleries to see some of our work.

We are a friendly, non-competitive club, with members of all ages, interests and sexes. We have members from all around the world, including America, New Zealand and Argentina.

The club holds regular collections and fund raising events. In 2008 we supported the Cancer Care and the CAB Huntingdon. In past years we have supported the RNLI, Sue Ryder Care Homes, Macmillan Nurses, the Alzheimers Society, Cruse, NSPCC, MAGPAS, the Mid Anglia Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre in Huntingdon, and the Arthur Rank Hospice, Cambridge.
