Steve Jobs introduced the Apple iPhone at the Macbook Conference and Expo in 2007, unveiling an internet enabled mobile phone that has revolutionized the mobile industry. The iPhone's features include a camera, MP3 and video player, mobile phone, capturing video and Internet services like e-mail, text messaging, web browsing, Visual Voice mail and wireless connectivity. The iPhone user experiences a touch screen interface with a virtual keyboard and buttons. Apple has released a total of 6 models, each briefly described below.

The new iPhone 5 was announced by Apple on September 12th, 2012 and was launched on September 21st. It features a new docking system with less pins, and a new updated sleek design with a 4 inch 16:9 aspect ratio screen. The new screen uses Apple’s retina display with 640 x 1,136 pixels at 326 ppi. It uses Apple's iOS 6 operating system and like the iPhone 4S the iPhone 5 has the Siri voice search system. It's powered by the A6 processor which has a 1.3 GHz dual core combined with 1GB of DDR2-RAM. The iPhone 5 is available in black & slate, and white & silver with your choice of 16, 32 or 64GB.
The iPhone 3GS was announced on June 8th 2009 by Apple but wasn't released until later that year. The iPhone 3GS is available in black and white, in 16GB and 32GB sizes. The iPhone 3GS also has an on-board compass allowing for advanced navigation.

The iPhone 4S was released by Apple on October 12th 2011. The 4S is identical in design to the iPhone 4, but has a more powerful Dual-core A5 processor and the groundbreaking voice-recognition app Siri. It features an 8 mega-pixel camera with 1080p HD video recording. The iPhone 4S is available in black and white, and in the sizes 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.
The iPhone 3G was released on July 11th 2008. It is available only in black and with 8GB's.
The iPhone 4 was introduced at the Worldwide Developers Conference on June 7th, 2010. The iPhone 4 features the Apple A4 processor, a higher definition 960×640 326 ppi retina display, a higher spec 5 megapixel back camera with LED flash, a VGA front-facing camera and a gyroscope which provides better motion sensitivity. Available in black and white, with 8GB's.
The iPhone was originally launched with 4GB and 8GB sizes, only in black and has been discontinued.
