The iPad has revolutionized computing today and has ushered in the rapidly growing platform of tablet devices.  The iPad isn't just a slick cool device, it presents an entirely new approach to using a "computer."  This hands-on session was offered February 25, 2012 as part of the NIU class ETT 590 where Jason Rhode shared tips and techniques for teaching and learning with iPads.

Students were encouraged to bring their own iPad and iTunes Account to participate!  Also, prior to attending, students with access to an iPad in advance of class were asked to install the following free apps:  Evernote, Google, Dropbox, ShowMe, iBooks, Qrafter, Audioboo

For a mobile version of the online handout (ie: this site), scan the QR Code to the right or enter the following URL on your mobile device:  j.mp/ipads590
Session hashtags, for tweeting or other social media uses:  #ipadedu, #ipads590

Prior to the class meeting, students were asked to complete 4-question iPad Experience Survey in Blackboard.  A summary of the responses of the 22 students who completed the survey by 8:30AM on Sat, 2/25, are available here.
