Examples of bagged cookies - we prefer baggies with twist ties as they pack easier for packing - but if you can't find - zip locks are okay. Some bakers put in colorful bags and attach notes of support.

Quick reminders:· Cookies can be baked ahead of time and frozen· Chocolate and other chip cookies are okay to send· Size should be around 3"

· Cookies need to be bagged 6 per package

· Please label if they contain nuts (this includes peanut butter and coconut cookies)

· If you do not have labels we will have them available at the packing

We hope many of you will be warming your kitchens and baking in the weeks ahead to bring our deployed troops a “little taste of home” as in this request. (Her nephew's on our list).

"What a wonderful thing you do for so many! My husband was deployed back in 2011 and one thing he talks about was the cookies he received from you. Recently our nephew deployed and he does not have a lot of family support. I do what I can, but the rest of his family have limited funds. If you are able to, we would appreciate him be added to your list of soldiers you send cookies to."
