Weather related school cancellations are made with the safety of our students in mind. In order to reach all of the families in time, a decision will be made by the principal before 10am the day of school. This decision is based on KCRG's weather report and the concerns of the parents and teachers. Weather is difficult to predict and cancellations are made based on the best information available at the time of the decision.
When a decision to cancel is made, every effort will be made to contact families and teachers by e-mail, followed by a phone call, and the cancellation will be posted on the school website.
If a cancellation is made, every reasonable effort will be made to make up the school hours. The make-up options will be discussed with the teachers and a decision made the following week.
