After his studies, he took on various jobs in Italy (AdR - Rome Airports) and abroad - Germany, France, United States - as Workshop Coordinator, Food & Beverage Manager (Club Med and Château de l'Hermitage in France), eventually as humanitarian project promoter (Kenya).
In 1991, with 2 associates, he founded the International Music Tournament (TIM), which involves thousands of musicians who perform regularly all year long. More than 50,000 already participated, representing 80 countries. Since TIM's foundation, F. Fait first managed its Head Office, then coordinated the local chapters in Europe. With its expansion and growing numbers, TIM was reorganized in 2001 and F. Fait was elected, and still is, CEO.
From 1992 until 1997 he was Chief Operating Officer of the "I Virtuosi" Philharmonic Orchestra. From 1993 until 1996 he also managed "San Francesco a Ripa" Music School in Rome, with a particular care for underprivileged backgrounds.
In 1998 Federico Fait founded the European Harp Association and was its President until 2003. In this position he arranged the 4th European Harp Symposium in Perugia (Italy), gathering more than 200 harpists from all inhabited continents.
From 1998 until 2001 he managed the european tours of hundreds of american orchestras and choirs, and presented all the activities held in the UK, in Belgium, in France, in Germany, in Spain, in Italy and in Russia. Most of the operations were in partnership with various nonprofit organizations: Alzheimer's, Parkinson Disease, Support for Trisomy, Red Cross, AMREF and many more.
F. Fait enjoys promoting cultural events, of all genres. Among his clients in Europe, the USA and Africa, are the Italian Public Broadcasting Company (RAI), the Italian Episcopal Conference (CEI), Texas Instruments, Imep (Institut Supérieur de Musique et de Pédagogie de Namur, Belgium), Music Celebrations International (Phoenix, AZ, USA), Kuoni Group (int. Tour Operator), Casterbridge Tours (Sherborne, UK), Danone (World's largest diary producer), Banca Popolare di Novara, Spa Deus Beauty Farm of Chianciano (Tuscany, Italy), Teatro Comunale di Enna (Sicily, Italy), Veglia Borletti (FIAT Group, Italy), Conservatoire "Maurice Ravel" of Paris, City of Zaragoza and its Congress Palace (Spain), Italian Embassy in Kenya and French Embassy in Rome. He produced and labeled various CDs, including 2 fairy tales, in which he performed as the narrator in English, German, French and Italian. He composed the lyrics of 2 songs (Believe in Your Dreams and Shoot) and produced the Danone Nations Cup's anthem. In 2005 he was the Art Director of Orsanmichele (Florence). Since 2009, he coordinates the music tours of the Orchestre Symphonique Curva Via (Paris, France).
