200 gr. tsoureki (challah) bread, cut into slices or small cubes
2 1/2 cups milk
1/3 cup white sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
100 gr. chocolate chips (dark or milk)
2 tbsp butter, melted

Preheat the oven to 180oC. Grease a baking pan with the melted butter and arrange the bread slices (or cubes) tightly.
In a large bowl, beat together eggs and milk and add vanilla and sugar. Mix until dissorlved. Pour liquid over the bread and let it rest for 30 minutes, until the bread absorves the liquid. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and bake for about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven, let it rest for 5 minutes, cut into slices and serve with your favorite icing.

Just some notes
1. If you like, you can sprinkle with pecans (about 1/2 cup).
2. You can prepare the Bread Pudding ahead and leave it in the fridge overnight to absorved the liquids. Just make sure to leave it at room temperature for 15 minutes before baking.
