Sandown North Invention Program

Students who choose to participate in the Sandown North Invention Program will have the opportunity to showcase their journals and inventions at the Sandown North Invention Convention. One invention from each grade level will be invited to represent our school at the NH State Young Inventors Program on Saturday, March 28, 2015. The Young Inventors Program requires all work and ideas to be student generated.

Models, displays and journals must be submitted to Mr. Melle on or before February 12, 2015.

I look forward to seeing our students’ creativity in action.

More information about the NH Young Inventors Program can be found at http://www.aas-world.org/YIP/index.html

You may put together your own journal containing the following:

1. A list of problems to solve with an invention

2. A description of the problem you decide to solve

3. Three different ideas for solving the problem

4. A detailed diagram of your invention

5. A description of how you built your model

or you can down load a journal template here:  Invention Journal

Remember to create a 36" x 24" display board to describe your invention. Your display should also include your name, grade, school and town.
