Dear International Club Member,

In November, we had the pleasure of having Ms. Ni Made Ayu Marthini from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia speak. Ms. Marthini’s discussion included a graphical presentation and focused on trade and industrial development with the USA and the World economy.

On Wednesday, December 4th, we will welcome Minister Lu Kang, Deputy Chief of Missions, from the Embassy of the Republic of China.

We will be meeting at the Doubletree Hotel, 210 Holiday Court in Annapolis. Our monthly events begin with a cocktail hour at 6:00 pm; dinner at 7:00 pm and our speaker will begin at 8:00 pm. The meetings are generally over by 9:00 pm.

Please send in your reservations early with a check for the appropriate amount. All reservations are made on a first received, best seating basis. Our meetings will be the first Wednesday of each month September though June with the exception of January 2014, which will be the second Wednesday. Notifications of future meetings are sent approximately two to three weeks prior each event.

Any group of members can reserve a table for ten by requesting a table and sending a check or checks that meet the cost of the dinners ($300.00 for 10). You can have smaller numbers seated together by sending in the names with checks for all of the people with whom you wish to be seated in a single envelope. Please write separate checks for reservations and membership.

The official deadline for the receipt of reservations is noon on the last Saturday before our Wednesday meeting. Just after noon on Monday, we must inform the hotel of the number of reservations for the dinner and that becomes the base number for which the club is obligated to pay.
