9 March 2012

Dear International Club Member,

In March, we had the pleasure of listening to Mr. Jonathan Henick from the State Department discussing the “three surge” recovery process of Afghanistan to eventually regain its glory as the New Silk Road.

On Wednesday, April 4th, we will welcome Ambassador Nuno Felipe Alves Salvador e Brito from the Embassy of Portugal.

We will be meeting at the Doubletree Hotel, 210 Holiday Court in Annapolis. Our monthly events begin with a cocktail hour at 6:00 pm; dinner at 7:00 pm and our speaker will start at 8:00 pm. The meetings are generally over by 9:00 pm.

Please send in your reservations early with a check for the appropriate amount. All reservations are made on a first received, best seating basis. Our meetings will be the first Wednesday of each month September though June. Notifications of future meetings are sent about two weeks before each event.
