Intermountain Division History

  • In the 1970’s the divisions were formed and the first President was Geoff Hodgson.
  • Joe Thompson became President and he created the by laws for the Intermountain. Previous to Joe there were no by laws.
  • First Divisional convention was in Vail, CO and the first divisional newsletter was sent out.
  • Terry Walters created the mountain range logo for the newsletter.
  • Jim Loehr, Tim Heckler and Jack Groppel spoke at the Vail Convention.
