Next stop is our Nation's capital, WASHINGTON D.C. During every srping break, members and some non-members of IBA take a trip worthwile to meet various Multinational Corporations and tour with them at their headquarters for an in-depth experience of what International Business entails. Student are highly enouraged to attend due to the high rate of Internship offers on the spot. We have experience this numerous times where students have been offered Internships after presenting their resumes and having a formal intrview during our stay there. The duration of time spent there will be the whole of srping break in the early week of March but not only spent visiting business but touring the tourist sites and getting an overall fun and informative experience. To request more information, please access our Contact Us page and there you will see an email for any questions or concerns. We hope you find the willingness to attend our next meeting and inquire about the trip and other events becuase you can be the next student that is chosen!
Yesterday, Tuesday September 28th, the International Business Association hosted an event called the International Culture of Business in the Student Union Auditorium from 6 p.m. to 8p.m. A group of prestigious business owners and entrepreneuers from Jordan, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates adressed a crowed of over 120 students and teachers. The group of renown business people talked about reasons to invest in the Lebanon, their international business expiriences, the benefits of doing business over seas and cultural differences between America and the middle east. The event was very informational and provided the audience with valuable knowledge about conducting business internationally. This event was a tremendous success and gave students and teachers the opportunity to learn about a different culture.
Thank you all for your support in promoting the IBA event featuring these entrepreneurs. The event went very well and was enjoyed by a crowd of approx 120, a great turnout for our guests! Special thanks to Randa Awada who brought her entire 5:45pm class to the event, plus offered extra-credit for students from her other IB class for attending. So, thank you to Randa for supporting IB!
