  • Click here to download a program created by Safaa Zakaria Aldwaik (saldwaik@gmail.com) in Excel 2007 to compute results for Intensity Analysis, which measures the degree to which changes among categories are non-uniform at three levels: interval, category, and transition (Aldwaik and Pontius, 2012). It also computes the minimum hypothetical error in the data that could account for each observed deviation from a uniform intensity at each level (Aldwaik and Pontius, under review). This program works for ANY number of time intervals and ANY number of categories. The categories and spatial extent must be identical at all time points
