I wish everyone a very, merry Christmas an a happy New Year!
Each class has been challenged to bring in as much canned food items for the food bank as possible. The entire school is raising canned goods and other non-perishable food items as a class by class challenge.
Join the challenge today and do some great things for your school and your community!!
Congratulations to Marcus Roberts, our November student of the month!
We are now entering the dreaded Cold and Flu season and are missing a number of you! Please take extra care of yourselves! Eat healthy and go to bed on time =) We will also be continuing our somewhat neurotic routine of regular sanitization in an effort to keep everyone well this winter!
If you are away for more than one day, please call or email to get your homework.
We will be decorating our room for Christmas in the next week, so if you have any spare decorations that your family doesn't use anymore, please bring them to class!
A warm welcome to all of the new ISP students who will be joining us in the fall! We look forward to getting to know you!! Enjoy the summer and see you in September!!
At the year- end assembly on June 15, ISP staff will be honouring the students in the following categories:
A reminder to all grads that you must complete your transitions exit interview BEFORE you can buy your prom tickets!! You must also be sure all of your fees are paid off!!! Make sure you read the GRADS section of our website for helpful tips!!!
Semester Two Update:
Exams are all but a distant memory and now as we direct our attention toward semester two, I am happy to share with you of the success that the ISP 9 class has had so far this year.
I am very pleased to announce that we all successfully completed both English and Social Studies and am even more pleased to announce that Corey Roberts was our January student of the month. Cory has shown himself to be a quiet achiever. He has always had a fantastic attitude toward his education and has used this to improve his critical thought process and written expression. Congratulations Corey.
In other great news, Brolan Paul achieved a perfect score of 6 out of 6 for the district wide write and had his paper submitted to the district as an exemplar!
Looking forward to semester 2, we have a couple of new students who are a welcome addition to the class. We all seem to be focused, and if that focus continues, we will have a successful semester two.
Welcome to all of the new students starting in semester two in ISP 10!!!
Now that those exams are over, it's time to tackle those new courses. On the line for this semester, the grade 10s will be studying art and social studies and have one dreaded Provincial exam left to write: English 10. Make it a great semester, folks, and use that PE 10 with Mr. McLaughlin as a stress release and a time to have so much fun!!
