• Congratulations to Annie Zonneveld for completing her PhD. She has a post at The Savannah College of Art and Design. 

• Congratulations to Tamer Said. He has a lectureship at Anglia Ruskin University. 

• Congratulations to Claudia Chu and Rina Lai on passing their vivas! They are both doing excellent research and are disseminating findings.

• Congratulations to Dr Maria Tsapali for her new (permanent) Lectureship in the School of Education at the University of Bristol. Maria has been with us for more than 7 years. We are super excited for this new opportunity, but we will miss her so much (and Bristol is very smart to have hired her!).

• Academic Year 2020-21: Our two EdD students passed their vivas - Gavin Turner and Helen Barsham. Congratulations Helen and Gavin!  Additional congratulations to Dr Jwalin Patel (MPhil alum) for passing his PhD viva and his new ESRC funded post-doctoral fellowship.

• Congratulations to Dr Maria Tsapali, Dr Tanya Paes, Dr Gill Francis and Dr Janina Eberhart for completing their PhDs during the 2019-20 academic year! Dr Tsapali has an affiliate lectureship with the University of Cambridge Faculty of Education, Dr Paes a postdoctoral research post at the Purdue University, Dr Francis a postdoc at the University of York, and Dr Eberhart a postdoc at the Unversity of Tübingen. We are so proud of you all!

• Gavin Turner has had his first publication acceptance for a chapter in an edited book (well, accepted pending some revisions - but still it was accepted!)

• Megan Cornell has been awarded a prestigious PEDAL studentship for the rest of her PhD work

• Maria Tsapali has started working on her PhD in the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge (with full funding!)

• Gill Francis was awarded a prestigious PEDAL studentship to start a PhD in the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge

• Antonia Zachariou finished her PhD and has started a lectureship at the University of Roehampton (UK)

• Connor Quinn is working on a PhD in the MRC: Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit, his project is jointly sponsored by the MRC:CBU and the Department of Linguistics

• Katie Gilligan is working on a PhD at the Institute of Education, University of London.

• Hannah Ward is working on a PhD at the Institute of Education, University of London. 

• Connor Quinn is a research assistant for our Young Children's Reasoning about Chemistry project.

• Alison McFarland, after earning a distinction on her MPhil thesis, completed an MSc course MSc Occupational Psychology at City University.

• Chloe Davies, Liane Grant, Emily Paines and Alex Webb have completed the PGCE course at the University of Cambridge.

• Amy Miller, after earning an MPhil in Psychology & Education,  completed  MSc course MSc Occupational Psychology at Birkbeck College, University of London.

• Helen Breadmore has completed a PhD in Psychology from the University of Birmingham. She held a post-doctoral research post there and at the University of Warwick. She is now employed by Coventry University.

• Amy Clinch and Heather Ball have compledted doctoral training in Educational Psychology (EdPsychD) at the University of Birmingham.

• Joanne Woodford is an associate research fellow at the University of Exeter working in the School of Psychology's Mood Disorders Centre.

• Rachel Cole-Fletcher completed an MSc in Reading, Language and Cognition at the University of York. After that, she completed a PhD in the School of Psychology at the Newcastle University.

• Adam Sukonick is a master's student in Psychology at the University of North Carolina - Wilmington.

• Tamika Moore and Holly Guelig are master's students in Counselor Education at Virginia Commonwealth University.

• Jaclyn Provau has completed post-graduate training in occupational therapy at Shenandoah University.

• Emily Mayor, Kiranjit Kooner and Alexandra Hughes completed PCGE courses at the University of Durham (Emily) and the University of Warwick (Kiran and Alexandra).
