The Institute for Open Economic Networks (I-Open) is a 501(c)3 non-profit educational organization dedicated to creating and sustaining economic development in communities and regions. 

I-Open develops and deploys new practices and tools for Open Source Economic Development, a method to identify emergent innovation and resources for business development. 

As architect of this new civic space, I-Open installs civic technologies to advance the efficiency and performance of organizations and businesses in changing social and economic situations.

I-Open coaches, mentors, and trains individuals how to build and operate social technologies to enable a net-centric approach to revitalize education, economic, and workforce development in communities and regions.
