Age Details :  The relaxation of age limit is extended to all the qualified candidates in addition to the in-service people for appointment of Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor in the University service”. Hence, there is no upper age limit for all eligible candidates.

QUALIFICATION FOR APPOINTMENT OF TEACHING FACULTY IN UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES–ARTS, SOCIAL SCIENCES,
COMMERCE & SCIENCE
PROFESSOR :
An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification
Actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications
A minimum of ten years of regular Post-Graduate teaching experience in University / College, out of which 3 years
Contribution to educational innovation,
minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), developed by UGC in these Regulations.
OR
An outstanding professional, with established reputation in the relevant field, who has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the  concerned/allied/relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned / allied / relevant disciplines.
A Master's Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
A minimum of Eight years of regular service experience of teaching and / or research in an academic / research
Five (5) publications as books and/or research/policy papers
Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology
A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), developed by UGC in these Regulations.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test
accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii) to this Clause candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission
NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.

QUALIFICATION FOR APPOINTMENT OF TEACHING FACULTY IN UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES–MANAGEMENT /
BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
PROFESSOR
Consistently good academic record with at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree
OR’
First Class graduate and professionally qualified Charted Accountant / Cost and works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory body.
Ph. D. or Fellow of IIM OR of an Institute recognized by AICTE.
A minimum of 10 years’ experience of post graduate teaching out of which 3 years must be at the level of Reader/Associate Professor
OR’
Contribution to educational innovation
minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) developed by UGC in these Regulations.For candidates from Industry & Profession
Consistently good academic record with at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree
OR’
First Class graduate and professionally qualified Charted Accountant / Cost and works Accountant / Company Secretary
The candidate should have professional work experience which is significant and can be recognized at national / International level as equivalent to Ph. D.and 15 years’

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
Consistently good academic record with at least 55% marks in Master Degree
First Class graduate and professionally qualified Charted Accountant / Cost and works Accountant / Company Secretary
Ph.D. or Fellow of IIM ‘OR’ of an Institute recognized by AICTE.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience of postgraduate teaching / industry /research / professional

QUALIFICATION FOR APPOINTMENT OF LIBRARIAN, DEPUTY LIBRARIAN & ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN IN UNIVERSITIES
AND COLLEGES
UNIVERSITY LIBRARIAN
Master’s degree in Library Science /Information Science with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade for 55% where grading system is practiced.
A Ph.D. degree in the above discipline and / or allied discipline with a consistently good academic record;
A minimum of 15 years of teaching/librarian experience of which at least 5 years experience as a Deputy Librarian in a University Library or 10 years’ experience as Assistant Librarian in the University or as College Librarian.
Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work and ICT modernization of library.
A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS)

DEPUTY LIBRARIAN


Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science / Documentation Science with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade for 55%, where grading system is practiced.
A Ph.D. degree in the above discipline or allied discipline with a consistently good academic record.
A minimum of 10 years of teaching/ Library experience with at least 5 years as an Assistant University Librarian / College Librarian.
Evidence of innovative library services, organization and computerization of library.
Evidence of published work with a minimum of 5 publications in indexed/ISBN/ISSN journals and / or ISBN/ISSN
minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) developed by UGC

ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN
Master’s degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55%
Qualifying in the National Eligibility Test (NET) or other accredited test like SLET/SET in Library Science
Holders of Ph.D. Degree as on the date of Notifications of these Regulations, along with those candidates who are awarded a Ph.D. degree through a process of admission

Prescribed application form along with the details of age,qualifications, and the relevant conditions etc., can be obtained from the Registrar,Telangana University, Dichpally, Nizamabad–503 322 in perso on payment of ` 150/-. The filled in downloaded forms are accepted with a registration fee of ` 650/- payable through Demand Draft only, drawn in favour of the Registrar, Telangana University, Dichpally, Nizamabad–503 322, A.P., payable at Dichpally, Nizamabad.
