Funding

This page discusses potential sources of funding for your game.

In my case, I'm loading most major expenses as close to release as possible. This is generally easy because things like translation and music lend themselves to being done near the end of a project. Once I'm at that point, I'll be able to more accurately guess sales (since my project is far from mainstream) so I'll know how much I can spend on these things, or whether I should at all.
