My main fields of interest are Applied Economics and Labor Economics at the intersection to Urban Economics. My research predominantly focuses on the Economics of Local Labor Markets, in particular on how shocks (e.g. triggered through globalisation or technological progress) affect local labor markets. I’m also interested in advances in applied methods in economics. My work mostly involves the handling of large datasets. For more information on my research, see here.
