I am a Professor of Economics at JKU Linz. I completed my PhD at the Department of Economics and the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration at University College London. Prior to joining JKU Linz, I was an Assistant Professor at Stockholm University and an Associate Professor at LMU Munich.
My main fields of interest are Applied Economics and Labor Economics. My research focuses on the one hand on the economics of local labor markets and on the other hand on core issues in labor economics, such as job displacement, wage inequality and labor market power.
