Club History

The strongest youth program to date was the creation of a hurling league built of two talented teams: North Central and Cathedral high schools. The two schools trained during their season, then competed at our annual fall tournament. The North Central/Indy U18 Hurling Club competed in Chicago at the Continental Youth Championships at Gaelic Park in 2008. The team lost both of their matches, but all of the players left the pitch knowing that they had played two exciting matches before hundreds of spectators.

In 2011, we had over 40 participants try out hurling or Gaelic Football at least once, whether that was during our regular practices, our clinics or our mini FootLing event.  Over half of these participants become semi-regulars to out youth program.

In 2012, we started off with a a few targeted clinics and so far this spring, we have after over 30 players attend our practices with most attending regularly.
