POSITION TITLE: Performing Arts Center (PAC) Manager


POSITION SUMMARY: Oversees overall managerial and technical responsibilities of the Performing Arts Center and coordinates all functions of the Performing Arts Center as guided by the Director of the Office of Special Projects.


EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)

1. Oversee the daily operations of the Zionsville Performing Arts Center.

2. Promote community use of ZCS facilities through exemplary communications and service.

3. Communicate directly with and group leaders (both internal and external) about technical and setup needs.

4. Ensure the security of PAC facilities and equipment by maintaining a daily presence.

5. Direct repair/maintenance invoices that need to be paid on to the business office.

6. Communicate with vendors and service providers for equipment repair, replacement, and purchasing.

7. Manage and update the PAC website and Facebook page.

8. Maintain accurate inventory records.

9. Record and compile financial data for PAC and report the monthly financial statement to the OSP Business Director.




Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Organized and efficient with process creation, implementation and communication. Ability to use a variety of computer programs to enter student data. Professionally and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and community members. Work independently while keeping your direct supervisor informed.


Education: Bachelor Degree in technical theater preferred but will consider 3-5 years of equivalent experience.


Experience: 1-5 years combined experience with performing arts venues and technical theater preferred.

The Indiana Arts Commission announces a position opening for a Community Development Manager – Arts Education and Accessibility Coordinator. 
This position supervises agency statewide initiatives including arts education programs such as PACE (Partnering, Arts, Communities and Education; accessibility initiatives; the Arts Organizational Support III grant program; the Indiana State Poet Laureate program; Poetry Out Loud; and capacity-building efforts for the field. The position will also support ongoing grant programs as needed and work with senior staff to develop statewide initiatives in support of the IAC’s new 2017-2021 Strategic Plan.
