Thank you for your interest in the Indiana Thespians State Conference.  This year's event is being held January 18-20, 2019, at Franklin Central High School in Indianapolis.  There are THREE ways to participate:  
vendor booth
college auditions
workshop presenters

It costs NOTHING to host a vendor table, a college booth, or to participate in our college audition process (Ok, so we do ask you to make 2, $500 offers to students if they are accepted into your school or program).

2019 State Conference Professional Rep Form


College/Vendor/Thespian Troupe Director: Presenters cover their own travel, hotel, and meals (Troupe Director meals are already included in their registration when they attend with students). Presenters are paid $50 for each prepared 75-minute workshop; up to 6 workshops if scheduling permits; not to exceed $300.00. Incidental expenses (i.e. photocopies, supplies, parking or transportation to and from your local airport) will be the responsibility of the Workshop Presenter. Colleges that attend the  College Auditions cannot present a workshop Saturday morning. We expect workshops to take up the entire 75 minute period for compensation. Presenters should bring their own equipment to make sure they are ready for their workshop (i.e. MP3 players, boomboxes, laptops, projectors, screens, and any cables necessary to run the equipment.)

Local Guest Artists (Invited Guest Artists from within Indiana and surrounding states): Presenters will be given a $25 travel stipend if they travel over 100 miles one way, or a $90 stipend if they travel over 200 miles one way; otherwise, Presenters will cover their own travel expenses. No lodging will be provided, though we will share with you the hotels where we have discounted rates. Presenters are paid $100 for each prepared 75-minute workshop; up to 5 workshops, if scheduling permits; not to exceed $500. Total compensation should not exceed $590.  Incidental expenses (i.e. photocopies, supplies, parking or transportation to and from your local airport) will be the responsibility of the Local Guest Artist. We expect workshops to take up the entire 75-minute period for compensation. Presenters should bring their own equipment to make sure they are ready for their workshop (i.e. MP3 players, boomboxes, laptops, projectors, screens, and any cables necessary to run the equipment.)

National Guest Artists (Keynote Speakers/ Invited Guest Artists traveling from states more than one state away): Presenters receive hotel accommodations, transportation (if needed, arranged by Indiana Thespians), and meals while at the Indiana Thespians State Conference (coordinated by Indiana Thespians). Presenters receive $599 for teaching 5 prepared 75-minute workshops. Additional hotel nights and incidental expenses (i.e. photocopies, supplies, parking or transportation to and from your local airport) will be the responsibility of the Guest Artist. We expect workshops to take up the entire 75-minute period for compensation. Presenters should bring their own equipment to make sure they are ready for their workshop (i.e. MP3 players, boomboxes, laptops, projectors, screens, and any cables necessary to run the equipment.) Workshops presenters will confirmed shortly thereafter.

If you are invited as a Workshop presenter, you must register for the festival by December 1, to confirm your acceptance of presenting a workshop at our festival (a link will be emailed to you). If you do not register by December 1, your workshop session(s) will be offered to another presenter.
