The Association of Independent Businesses is an open business community that promotes open and honest business practices. Our goal is to encourage better communication between small to medium sized companies and their customer base. After all feed back and recommendations are the life blood of any good business. Our members are range from self employed "one man bands" to larger retailers with up to 20 staff. Once our criteria has been met we monitor and publish customer feed back, both good and not so good. This way both other businesses and potential customers can see how well a company rates.
Since 2006 The Association of Independent businesses has been helping to give customers and clients more confidence in our members, whilst assisting those members to achieve the best trading practices. In fact the AIB was formed by a group of like minded traders in 1996 and has been growing ever since. As a non profit organisation we exist solely to assist both small businesses and the public. Our reputation is the key to success and we work hard to make trading with our members safe and trouble free.
