Weekly Intimations


Annual Scout Post will run from 18th November to 19th December. Post boxes are in the Church and Community Centre in Inchinnan only. Please ensure that all cards have a proper address.

FoodBank:  Thanks to all who support this, at the moment they are particularly looking for donations of tinned potatoes, tuna, tinned fruit, custard, diluting juice and toddlers nappies size 5 and 6. 

 Reverse Advent: for the Foodbank we are once again doing ‘Reverse Advent’, where for each day we can donate an item. All items must be in by 16th December, and if possible, any selection boxes for the 9th December.

Christmas Coffee Morning: Saturday 8th December 10am – 12 noon. Tickets £2 for adults and £1 for children. Donations for the tombola and baking stalls, and the Prize Draw will be gratefully received. A box for donations is in the vestibule.


Christmas Cinema Evening: Friday 21st December 6.30pm for 7pm. Showing the classic Christmas film ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’. Tickets £2


Carols with the Choir Evening:  Tuesday 11th December 7.30-9.30 with BB providing tea/coffee with any donations going to them.


Advent Bible Study: Will be held on THURSDAY’s 6th, 13th and 20th December at 7:30pm in Session House. Rob Bell’s ‘Nooma’ videos will be the material used, after being so well received at an evening service.


Advent Countdown: once again the Church of Scotland are showing an Advent video daily around the theme ‘the Greatest Gift’


Advent Challenge: Once again, the Bible Society are doing a random act of kindness advent challenge. If you wish to take part, go to the Bible Society web site and sign up. Every day they email you with 3 options. It’s great fun and I’m sure you will really enjoy brightening up someone’s day.

10.45am Christmas Gift Service:  donated gifts will be passed to local charity groups
6:30pm Taizé Service:A reflective service using the music of the
Taizé Community .
