Image Wrap lets you wrap any file into an image
Wrapping and unwrapping a file with Image Wrap is just like zip and unzip; wrap compresses the file and unwrap decompresses. The only difference is that with Image Wrap, the compressed file is an image file instead of a zip file.
Many cloud storage locations offer free or reduced cost storage for images. Image Wrap lets you "wrap" any file - documents, spreadsheets, anything - into a DNG format image file, and later extract it.
Image Wrap makes it easy to find your files, even after they are wrapped. The file extension is incorporated into the file name (so letter.docx becomes letter_docx.dng when wrapped). In addition, the date and time stamps of the wrapped file is set the date and time of the original.
Using Image Wrap is easy - just select a source folder and a destinations folder, and convert. Then upload to your location of choice.
Image Wrap automatically compresses the contents of any file that you wrap, so that your files take up less space, and use less bandwidth.
Image Wrap is standards based - the image file produced is 100% compliant with DNG specifications; no "tricks" to cause compatibility issues. Any app that implements DNG standards can unwrap the file that Image Wrap produces; you're not locked in.
Image Wrap works with any version of OS X all the way back to Yosemite (10.10). And of course, it's fully macOS High Sierra optimized.
