Week 5: Grades and Conferences Lecture: Present Personas. Process flows and flowcharts Lab: Begin user journey, process flows charts and flowcharts Homework: Read. Finalize user journey and flows


Week 4: Lecture: Personas and scenarios: Understanding our users and their goals. Lab: Begin group work on personas: 3 - 4 clearly defined personas representing expected users from your user group of the website or intranet. Be sure to clearly explain your reason for including your particular persona. Homework: Read Personas Develop Scenarios 4 - 6 scenarios representing potential uses of the website/intranet.


Week 3:


Lecture: Present Ecosystems.  User research techniques

Lab: Get into a group (1-4 people) and begin research for group project. (3 - 4 clearly defined personas representing expected users from your user group of the website or intranet. Be sure to clearly explain your reason for including your particular persona.)

Homework: Read User Research

Lecture: Competitive analysis documentation and requirements analysis 

Case study – iPod  A product/service & content as integrated user experience 

Lab: Research websites and begin developing ecosystems

Homework: Read Chapter 2 Ecosystem, & Don Norman Article Systems Thinking.

Assignment-- Select a website or app and create an ecosystem for an existing website.
