Friendship Fund

The Friendship Fund was established in 2013 to help our members and their communities in need.

On November 17, 2013, Washington, Illinois suffered from a devastating tornado.  From passing the hat at state meetings to matching funds, we raised over $400.00 to help Washington purchase flower bulbs to help beautify their community.

If you are an Illinois Women of Today member who knows of another member or community in need, please read the following guidelines and fill out the paperwork.  The form can be emailed to the State President for submission.

We do have some guidelines that we have put together for this fund.  They are as follows:

1. The Friendship Fund shall be used to help any Illinois member, chapter or community in need.

2. The Friendship Fund form must be completed by an Illinois Women of Today member.

3. Any Illinois Women of Today member may request up to $200.00 per recipient with the proper form.

4. The Friendship Fund form must be presented to the State President at least 30 days prior to date member
would like to donate funds. This should allow ample time for the State President to review form, have it
approved by the State Board and check to be mailed to requester.

5. Maximum of three requests approved per Illinois Women of Today fiscal year (May 1st to April 30th)
    depending on availability of funds.

6. One calendar year must pass before funds could be requested for same recipient. Up to three donations
will be given to said recipient in a lifetime.
