Encouraging, educating and engaging communities to help Illinois teens become good drivers for life.

Nothing kills more teens (16-20 years of age) in Illinois than car crashes, and no other group on the road has a higher crash risk. The Illinois Teen Safe Driving Coalition is working to help teens build skill and minimize risk through the proven principles of Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL).

Teen Safe Driving Coalitions also are established in California, Florida, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Texas.
