School of Communication Research Study Announcement Board

WELCOME to the School of Communication Research Announcement Board. This website announces and facilitates research projects in the School of Communication during the semester. Students in select SoC courses may be eligible to participate in studies announced here for course credit or extra credit--please see your individual classes' syllabi for details.


PARTICIPANTS: In accessing this website, you have expressed an interest in participating in a research project in the School of Communication. By participating in any of the studies presented on this website, you are advancing knowledge in the communication discipline. To begin, please follow the steps below.

  1. Be sure to read the 'Information for Participants' and 'Rights and Responsibilities of Research Participants' sections for more detailed information about research participation.

  2. To find available research studies, click on the link from the menu to access ‘Available Research Opportunities

  3. Read the description of the studies and select a study to review in more detail. Full consent will be provided by the individual researcher at the beginning of each study.


RESEARCHERS: Please see the 'Information for Researchers' in the dropdown menu for Instructions on using communication students as research participants. To submit your study for posting on this website, complete the 'Research Study Submission Form.'
