Fall Pow-Wow Recap

Illini Lodge of the Order of the Arrow conducted a fabulous weekend of fun activities, inspiring ceremonies, and leadership development along the banks of the Salt Fork River. The POW was properly placed into the Fall Pow-Wow as black powder marksmen took aim at large orange targets at the Rifle Range. At the end of the day, the final score was Black Powder: 55 and Pumpkins: 0. The BB Gun Biathlon was a true test of shooting skills at a wide variety of targets and distances on the prairie.

The Ceremonies Team was active in their induction of twenty-two new members into the Brotherhood of Cheerful Service. Three arrowmen sealed their membership by attaining the Brotherhood Honor on Saturday. Six Illini Lodge members were elevated to the Vigil Honor in recognition  of their long service to the Order. Congratulations to new Vigil Honor members Joe Stull, Evan Rocheford, John Thompson, Todd Buhrmeister, George Lambert and John Marquardt.

Congratulations to the newly elected Lodge Officers for the 2007-08 Lodge year. These can be found on the Officers page.
