KMR College Sports Events - 2016: Participation by Ekalavya School, Fatehnagar

KMR College has conducted sports competitions for 50 schools at Sanatnagar GHMC grounds, in Hyderabad on 20th, 21st and 22nd December.

50 students have participated in different events, from FN. A senior team of boys, junior teams of boys and girls, 10 students in running and 10 students in chess and senior team of boys in cricket.

The junior boys secured 2nd place, junior girls’ secured 3rd place in kho- kho. Tharun of class IX secured 4th place. 4 boys completed 3 rounds and one boy till 4th round in the chess. 3 girls too went till the 3rd round.

Both the PETs and the admin staff, Mr.Naresh attended to the needs of the students on these three days.

There was a march-past to start with and the chief guests were the Corporator of Sanathnagar and Sports Director of Telangana. The students and the staff were happy to participate but were disappointed when they couldn’t get a better prize.

All the students were given participation certificates, individual winners got medals and the 3rd place team got a cup as tokens of appreciation.

The in-chargers were very happy with the involvement of the PETs and in fact, appreciated Ms.Omkari with a momento.

It was a good experience for the students as they competed with 49 different schools.
