Call for Papers

Original contributions based on practice, theoretical and empirical research, case studies etc. are invited on the theme and sub-themes of the conference as mentioned above. All papers will go through a process of blind review by a panel of experts and accepted papers will be published in the conference volume (with ISBN). Correspondence regarding papers should be addressed to “The General Secretary”, Indian Library Association through email at: ila63lucknow@gmail.com . Correspondence will be made with the principal author and therefore, the name, full address, email, and all (work, home, mobile) phone numbers of the principal author should be clearly indicated. Authors are requested to submit brief CV (only one paragraph) and colour photograph along with the paper. The last date of submission is 15th October, 2017.

  1. Authors are requested to send a Demand Draft/ Multicity cheque of Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand only) drawn in favour of “Indian Library Association, Delhi” OR DEPOSIT CASH IN BANK OR TRANSFER ONLINE IN THE NAME OF “INDIAN LIBRARY ASSOCIATION” ACCOUNT NO. “20024270299” TO “BANK OF MAHARASHTRA” branch Dr. Mukherjee Nagar, New Delhi using IFSC code-“MAHB0000901” and scanned copy of Bank receipt mail to ila@ilaindia.net along with the details of papers and to The General Secretary, Indian Library Association, Flat No. 201, A-40/41, Ansal Building, Dr. Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi – 110009 (Ph.: 01127651743). Papers will be published in the conference volume only after the receipt of ₹ 1000/- and one of the author gets himself/herself registered for the conference.
  2.  Undertaking regarding genuineness of papers.
  3. Undertaking regarding surrendering copyright in favour of Indian Library Association. (Both the undertakings are required to be submitted as given in the format available on the ILA website i.e. www.ilaindia.net)
  4. It is authors/ contributor’s responsibility that papers is free from grammatical errors. 

Author Guidelines

Manuscripts Requirements:

  • Length: Not more than 10 pages maximum for a paper in double space and shall not exceed 5000 words. However, authors are advised to write as much precise as possible.
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font Size: Heading-12 (Bold), Sub Heading 10(Bold) and rest of the text - 10.
  • Title should be concise.
  • Paper Format and Layout: The paper should have the following details:

 Title (should be in centre)

    Authors (designation, affiliation, detailed address, e-mail ID and Phone numbers)

    Abstract (maximum 150 words)

    Keywords (maximum 5)

    Introduction

    Conclusion

    References (APA style format only)

  • Case Studies proposed may preferably be supported by real life case examples.
  • Tables and Figures, if any must have a brief caption written on the bottom of the figure and provide the due reference of the original work.    

Poster Presentation

  • Only accepted papers will be allowed to be presented. Papers may also be accepted for poster presentation.
  • Only abstracts of poster presentations will be included in the proceedings.
