Remodeling of Nakagin capsule

I hang a nest to the capsule tower

Project to remodel one room of Nakagin Capsule Tower in a Mr. Kisho Kurokawa design.

When I had lived in Tokyo, I borrowed one room of Nakagin Capsule Tower, and noticed the special point of the capsule tower. In the case of condo, usually a registrability part that the inside of the partition is the exclusive possession part, but of Nakagin Capsule Tower, a capsule is independent from share part, so whole of a capsule including outer wall is the exclusive possession part. In other words, It may be said that I can empty a new window into the capsule and establish the exit to the ceiling within the limits of a law.Nakagin Capsule Tower completion in 1972 had planned to be removed if necessary, but never been "metabolism" even if 30 years pass.

Even if cannot take off a capsule I can let capsule itself renew. I would buy the capsule of the top floor of the A ridge (The market is around 6,000,000 yen), and empty a doorway into a wall and the ceiling, and run roof life in a head of Metropolitan Ginza Line. I intend to be happy if drink good liquor, while blowing by a tepid evening wind and view a band of light of Ginza and Shiodome below my eyes.

Since the issue of asbestos of 2005 occurred, the capsules become the entering indefinite cancellation, I had been preparing money, this project has die out.
